When we started the planning for our wedding, back in June 2025, we knew the big things needed to be done up-front and that the venue, of course, is the biggest of them all. My wedding planner helped us find the Croft, our photographer and our wedding singer but then had to retire form the role. This left me planning everything, thinking it was going to be a little lonely!
But, our first step was to visit the Croft after my wedding planner recommended it and, well…. I defy any prospective bride to not fall in love! The venue is simply perfect, the people simply wonderful and my only question was ‘could it be affordable’ given we didn’t have the biggest budget?
I shouldn’t have worried, working with the Croft wedding co-ordinators we found a way! Wedding afternoon wedding and a buffet for the wedding breakfast and it was a done deal!
I just had not realised how central the venue is to everything. As soon as we committed, the Croft gave us a wedding co-ordinator to work with and Jenna was just amazing!
She went the extra mile from the start and that was the enduring theme of partnering with the Croft.
Jenna picked up the choreography between our vendors, ensuing that wedding photographer, wedding singer, DJ, amusement providers, all knew when and where they needed to be and who to talk to is anything changed. This was so critical to the smoothness of the whole day!
As we went through the process, and Jenna always remained in touch, I realised just how much the right venue is core and central!
But that’s doesn’t begin to describe the venue itself! The chapel for the ceremony is so perfect, so beautiful. The reception room, equally so perfect. Ass to that the layout of the hotel the beautiful terrace, the lovely rooms and the absolutely fantastic food and, well, it’s just a little slice of heaven.
So, we have a venue, we have people who know and love what they do then, the final, vital ingredient is the amazing on the day co-ordination and flexibility! We felt so special, so looked after, so supported from the moment we arrived the night before.
The Croft gave us a fantastic wedding co-ordinator who met us the night before and then managed the whole day of our wedding as well as a wonderful MoC. This, I think is also central to the whole thing!
Yes, I am gushing, but we had the perfect wedding and the Croft were so wonderfully central to that! Would I recommend it? Yes, yes and yes. I’m ALMOST tempted to get divorced so I can do it all again!

A gorgeous setting, flawless execution by the Croft staff and a genuinely warm and lovely place. Food was impeccable, the venue looked stunning and I was guided through the day perfectly without feeling rushed around.

We originally booked runa farm for our wedding in Feb 2027, we had a family member diagnosed with cancer and we wanted to bring the wedding forward as we wanted him to see us get married, Emily white our wedding coordinator was brilliant with us, give us loads of options and let us change venue so we can do this and we did it in 4 weeks! She was a massive help for us and without Emily I wouldn’t have been able to do it if I’m honest, everyone on the day was Amazing considering the circumstances. The food was great I didn’t get one complaint!!
I would 1000% recommend here or any of the sister venues that they have, if I was to do it again I would do the same thing again!

No words to describe just how happy we were with our wedding Venue, The Croft Hotel. Each moment of the day felt Magical and we truly recognised the amazing team that pulled the day altogether for us.
I would recommend this wedding venue to everyone. Our guests all commented on how amazing the day was and we are all still smiling a few weeks later.
Thankyou for giving us an experience we truly will never forget and we will be back to stay and reminise as we wish we could do it all again. -

Myself and my husband got married on the 22nd May 2026 and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. We previously looked at other venues before falling in love with this venue as soon as the doors opened my husband James said this is the venue.
The venue is absolutely beautiful full of charm and character and the staff went above and beyond to make everything seamless.
From the ceremony to the reception, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. Every meeting with our wedding planner from the apartment group to the wedding coordinator on the day always on hand to answer all questions.
Our guests are still talking about the amazing food and warm atmosphere. We truly can’t recommend The Croft Hotel highly enough as a wedding venue. it was everything we dreamed of and more. -

We have just got married at the Croft on 17th May 2026, and would 100% recommend. From the wedding coordinator, manager and MOC, to all the serving staff, everyone was amazing! It is a beautiful venue and the best place for beautiful celebrations. -
