We got married at The Barn at Alswick one month ago, and it was the first venue we viewed — we knew straight away it was the one! The space is stunning, from the beautiful beams and versatile layout to the gorgeous grounds that transformed so quickly into the most magical setting for our day.
The outside area for reception drinks was ideal, and having relaxed, comfortable spaces for both of us to get ready made the morning so much easier. Our guests loved the option to stay overnight in the tents, and the breakfast the next morning went down an absolute treat.
The package offered by the barn was wonderfully simple, and the partners they work with made planning our wedding in just nine months feel effortless.
A huge thank you to everyone at the barn who made the day run so smoothly. Claire did an amazing job helping us throughout the planning, and both Claire and Ellie were brilliant helping us work things around on the day. So many people have told us how special the barn felt, and we couldn’t agree more. The Barn at Alswick gave us the most incredible backdrop to our wedding, and we’d recommend it wholeheartedly to any couple looking for a venue that truly has it all. -

From start to finish … amazing !! Both myself and husband felt at ease with all the team. Nothing was too much for them. We literally had the BEST DAY EVER !! No issues or hiccups were had , the day ran perfect :) . This really would be the perfect venue for your wedding ! We loved the glamping option where we didnt need to worry about getting a taxi home etc . 10/10 venue !!!!! Xxx thank you guys -

We recently had our wedding at The Barn, and let me tell you, they absolutely blew us away! Originally, we were planning to tie the knot in Vegas, but thanks to restrictions, we had to switch gears and go for a UK venue. We were having a tough time finding the perfect spot that fit our dream of a beautiful countryside setting with good vibes.
Enter The Barn. From the moment we set foot on their open day and met Ellie and Kay, we knew we were in the right place. Ellie went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She handled all our questions with ease and made the day even better than we had imagined.
The day was truly magical and captured who we are as a couple, all thanks to Ellie's close collaboration with us. The weather was perfect, allowing us to enjoy steelpans in the courtyard and dance the night away. Everyone raved about how lovely the staff were, which made the experience even more special.
The glamping accommodations were comfortable, and Ellie thoughtfully addressed allergies and our family's accessibility needs. Every little detail was taken care of.
In short, The Barn exceeded all our expectations. If you're looking for a stunning countryside venue with incredible staff, look no further. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our love! I can't wait to be back for vow renewals 😉 -

We got married at the barn at the beginning of June on the intimate package. We wanted a smaller, relaxed, vibey day from the get-go, and Alswick was beyond perfect!
Kay and her team were incredible both in planning and on the day, everything was under control and thought of, and my partner and I got to slow down and actually enjoy the day!!
The glamping and morning after was incredible, and so many guests said it was a highlight!
My partner is a wheelchair user, and we had several disabled guests. The barn itself is accessible, and the glamping is better than you expect (there is only gravel up to it, then a wooden path, and a step into the tents/lodge, but the honeymoon one is spacious, with a bathroom). It worked perfectly for us, and the whole team was so accommodating in planning and making sure it worked for us!
The whole day was beyond a dream, I can't recommend alswick enough!! -

The best day of our lives
And it really was! From the moment we booked The Barn with Kay everything was well organised and felt seamless!
Our day was so so special and that’s all down to Kay and her team. I didn’t have to think about a thing from start to finish.
Our wedding was between Christmas & New Year but Lay ensured that everything was ready to go before the Christmas period. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough, it is truly the most amazing venue!

If The White Company Did Wedding
We were lucky enough to get married here at the beginning of July 2022. It was the most beautiful venue with incredable and lovely staff that help to make our day run smoothly. Ellie our wedding planner was fantastic! From helping us plan, co-ordinating with our suppliers, setting everything up and packing everything away. The team were great to communicate with and kept the day running smoothly. It really was faultless. -

We married at the barn on the 7th July 2022.
From the moment we first walked into the venue in September 2020, we knew this was where we would be getting married - and it was the best decision we could have made.
Abbie and the team from start to finish were amazing, accommodating (of my many many emails and questions) and even a date change after getting bored of waiting so long and bringing our wedding 10 months forward!!
Our guests had nothing but lovely things to say, it really is the venue that gives you everything you could possibly need! -
