Couldn't have wished for a better wedding day!

I honestly had the most perfect day thanks to the Ashburnham Hotel. Everything ran smoothly with sue and suw in charge. I was always kept in the loop and felt so at ease. The food was amazing both in the morning and at my wedding breakfast. Even the vegetarians amongst my guests said the food was out of this world. The rooms were comfortable and clean. For the package price I paid for the day what I got for it what phenomenal! I would highly recommend this as a venue.

Our Perfect Day

From the very beginning Kathleen went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and she offered her knowledge and expertise with all the planning.
On the day all the staff were spot on and as a result the whole day went without a hitch.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue we cannot recommend The Ashburnham Hotel enough.
Thank you Kathleen and team for your professionalism and for making it such an enjoyable and amazing experience.

Dissapointing for some part, mostly great!

I was very upset to be kicked out of the room I was getting ready in, less than a hour before I walked down the isle, this was not mentioned previous to the day. I then had to move all of my things into another room leaving me 20 minutesA lot of the guests commented on how unapproachable/miserable the wedding planner was during the day. Which I agree a smile wouldn't have gone a miss. 6 days before the wedding I was asked if I minded staying in a family room on my wedding night so the lady who was getting married the day after us could have the bridal suite on OUR wedding night as well as her own! I was quite taken back by this, we paid for a package that included the bridal suite, I couldn't believe we were asked this!
We did have a lovely day apart from these issues, the food was amazing and the rest of the staff were great. The package was a good deal. Just wish my morning was not so stressful and the wedding planner was more friendly on the day, I understand the stress she would be under but it was a wedding not a funeral!

Perfect Day

The venue was perfect for a family wedding, we had a large number of children and family traveling distance to the wedding.
We felt the support on the lead up to the day was amazing, wedding planner was well experienced and able to answer all of our questions and make us feel at ease. Both the hotel and wedding planner had great partnership with both florist and cake suppliers and made the planning seamless and day run well.
On the day we were total relaxed the day run seamlessly from morning till end. All staff on hand to support and all guests extremely happy and was magical day. Would highly recommend.

Recommed the venue

Had my wedding in june 2023 the venue was great had a great welcome the staff where fantastic couldnt do enough the room was decorated beautiful and the food was fantastic we had 50 guests in day and 100 in the evening it was perfect ,the bedrooms where fine quite spacias bed where comfy , i would recommend the venue

Absolutely fantastic

From the moment we started wedding planning, the ashburnham caught me eye. I went to view and there and then put my deposit down, communication was amazing , whenever I was flapping over something I would phone and Cathy would put my mind and ease. Lead up to the day is stressful but Cathy was so supportive. The wedding went perfect no blips what so ever. My bride tribe and myself stayed the night before and we were able to set up bits before hand. The girls were amazing helping moving everything.
I also say a big thank you to the ladies who were cleaning the rooms they went above and beyond, they helped me move a lot of stuff to different rooms , I had 8 teenage girls as bridesmaids so if u have teenagers u can imagine their stuff were everywhere.
The food was absolutely stunning to the chef and his team done amazing I'm a pain as I'm gluten and dairy free and the food was absolutely stunning. Nothing was to much trouble every one of my guests are still talking about the food now even the buffet was incredible I was only expecting a small buffet there was ample of food there.
All my guests said how laid back and relaxed the whole day was it was just perfect.
I can't recommend the ashburnham enough. Communication was spot on, stress free, food was spot on, it was just absolutely perfect

The best day ever

From the first meeting with our wedding planner to the end of the celebrations everything went so smoothly. We were made to feel comfortable and at home. The staff were brilliant. The planning that went in to our day was exceptional. The food was fantastic there wasn't one complaint. The ashburnham made our day so special.

Wedding on 17/08/24

Thank you to all at The Ashburnham Horel in Bury Port. We had my Sons wedding there on 17/08/24. It was fantastic. Our wedding planner Kathleen did a brilliant job of making our son and daughter in laws day very special. We couldn’t have asked for a better day..
all 75 guests enjoyed the fabulous 3 course meal and the tapas buffet in the evening. We highly recommend this venue which offered us exclusivety Friday and Saturday and all 12 bedrooms for the bridal party.
The bedrooms were clean and comfortable as was the hotel reception areas. Dinner and breakfasts were excellent. Thank you all once again.

Fantastic service

We cannot recommend the Ashburnham hotel enough. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day the best day ever. Nothing was too much trouble and they accommodated the dietary needs of all the guests as we had a couple with serious food allergies. The whole day went smoothly and the package we had for our big day made our wedding so affordable
