  Best wedding venue in the city

  Honestly, Gabi and her team are the most fantastic people I have ever met. The day was seamless, they were so organised, had excellent communication, the food is to die for and they really went above and beyond to make our day perfect.

  Amazing Day

  I just wanted to say thank you so much for Saturday! You and your team were absolutely brilliant?? from setting up, entertaining the kids to the food and service - just amazing!
  
  I realized that I just handed you a bag of items on Friday and you guys just made it amazing. I think I can say for the both of us just how delighted we were (and still are) with how everything turned out!

  Wonderful wedding venue and fantastic staff

  We had a wonderful wedding experience from start to finish at The Anthologist. The venue is a great space with modern, interesting decor. I loved having a huge space with zones (dining, dancing, chill-out) so I could see the guests throughout the day and night, as opposed to breaking off into separate rooms. The food and drink options were delicious and we were able to find something to please all of our guests. Also, the location, in an historic part of London (which is quiet and all yours on weekends), is lovely. Above all, the staff made our day. Everything was as requested when we arrived and the venue had been styled beautifully. They were attentive but unobtrusive - the perfect balance! The day went smoothly and we didn't have to think about anything. So thrilled to have spent the day there.

  Amazing venue & staff - highly recommended

  We hosted our wedding reception at The Anthologist in July 2017 and really couldn't find fault with anything! The staff were really helpful in the planning stages and gave us great advice. When we arrived on the day everything was set up as we had asked and the venue looked gorgeous. They also printed our name cards and set the tables for us. One of the reasons we chose The Anthologist was because of the food - there is such a huge choice of options (we actually gave our guests a choice for each course), and they are used to serving large groups so everyone ate in a reasonable time. Every guest we spoke to commented on how good the food was -both in quality and quantity. We used their excellent sound system with a friend DJing which worked well. I can honestly say we were so happy with our choice and would highly recommend this venue to anyone! It's also reasonable value too with only a minimum spend (no venue hire).

  Chic central London wedding venue

  We held our wedding party at The Anthologist in July 2017 and had the most amazing day! Ava, Ola and Louise were great in helping us plan our day and were all so accommodating. The venue looked stunning - really chic and needed very little decoration from us. The food was superb (we went off menu completely) and the service exceptional. Feedback from our guests was all really positive. Thank you to everyone at The Anthologist for making our day so special! We couldn't recommend this venue highly enough.

  Amazing Wedding Reception

  We organized our wedding reception at the Anthologist in May 2017. It was the loveliest wedding party ever. Louise and her team did an impeccable job! Before the wedding we spent lots of hours with her planning and discussing all the details and I must say she and the team from the Anthologist made our dreams come true. Everything looked so amazing and ran very smoothly. They did such an amazing job creating the cheese bar and the candy bar that looked absolutely stunning. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and doesn’t need any decoration, but by adding a couple of small details (flowers, menus etc.) it becomes the dream wedding venue. Everyone was so nice, helpful and made sure that our guests were happy at all time. The food was amazing as well. We had some canapes to start with, followed by a 3 course menu (scotch egg, grilled salmon and ice cream) and the guests absolutely loved it. We would like to thank again the Anthologist team for all the effort they put into making our wedding a day we will never forget!

  Getting hitched without a hitch!

  We cannot thank Will & the team enough for giving us the most perfectly stress free Wedding.
  We live in Australia so when we decided to get married in London we knew we were up for a challenge to plan a wedding literally from the other side of the world. However, when I came across Drake & Morgans venues & started to email with Will, we realised we were in the best hands possible. Will is an absolute dream to work with & his team reflects his values to ensure we had the best day possible.
  Nothing was too much for them, Wills endless list of contacts & suppliers is incredible, he helped us to arrange everything from the DJ to hotels! He worked closely & managed all external suppliers I had sourced & projected managed the Wedding to the very end!!
  The venue we chose, The Anthologist, looked amazing & the team had set everything up just the way we had wanted! Actually it was even better than we had expected! The food was divine, and the drinks were flowing just as we wished. The team on the night were fantastic and so professional, nothing was too much for them.
  The feedback we had had from our guests has been wonderful and has kept the wedding buzz alight for weeks after.
  Our experience with Will and the team was stress free the whole way, which made the planning fun!!!
  We can't recommend Drake & Morgan as your choice of venue & wedding planners highly enough, the value for money is second to none, you & your guests will have the most magical day!

  Wedding Reception - 6th August 2016

  We honestly cannot speak highly enough of the venue and staff, it was the perfect venue for our wedding day and evening.
  Having reviewed a dozen venues in London, stately homes, private members clubs etc.... we came across the Drake & Morgan venues (of which there are a few!) and were shown around by Will Breteau (Events Manager for Drake & Morgan).
  All the venues varied in layout and size but each and every one had the same unique modern, contemporary, relaxed style which we absolutely loved.
  We selected The Anthologist on first viewing because of the layout and location. It is situated on Gresham Street which at the weekend feels like a private road in the heart of London! The Anthologist has a very light, relaxed feel, and the open plan layout allows a seamless transition from pre-drinks to daytime wedding breakfast to evening party.
  The food is to a high standard and also very reasonable in terms of pricing and we have since had many guests comment on the food throughout the day. The food tasting was great, the chef and his team were extremely accommodating and offered great suggestions for alternate options and dietary requirements.
  The staff were fantastic, very friendly and attentive and made the whole day run very smoothly.
  The team were headed up by Will Breteau and his assistants Ava and Louise - these guys, from start to finish, made what can be a very stressful exercise seem nothing but fun. They orchestrated everything, contacts with DJ, table linens, bands, flowers.... Everything. This just leaves you to enjoy yourself!! Will sets the bar for events planning, he had absolutely every base covered.
  If you are looking for a wedding venue in the city, look no further than than the Drake & Morgan venues.
