From the moment we first spoke with the team, we immediately felt comfortable and truly heard by them. It was always so easy to share our ideas and plans nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they were always open, kind, and accommodating.
When it came to the big day, everything came together beautifully. The attention to detail and smooth coordination made it all feel effortless. As a bride, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing everything was perfectly taken care of, and the day ran seamlessly from start to finish.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to the entire team for making our day so special. -

Nos casamos en la Tenuta La Madonnina di Barni a finales de marzo de 2025 y no podríamos estar más felices con nuestra elección.
Desde el primer contacto, el trato del equipo fue excelente: nos acompañaron durante toda la planificación y siempre estuvieron dispuestos a ayudar y adaptarse a nuestras visitas, algo que agradecimos especialmente ya que viajábamos desde Galicia.
El entorno es maravilloso, con vistas impresionantes al Lago de Como desde lo alto de la montaña, rodeado de verde y con una sensación de tranquilidad e intimidad que hizo que nuestra boda fuera algo muy especial. Tuvimos un evento pequeño, de unos 30 invitados, y el lugar resultó perfecto. El paisaje fue increíble, con un detalle mágico: justo enfrente se podían ver las montañas nevadas y el lago al mismo tiempo, creando una estampa inolvidable.
También contratamos el servicio de coordinación, que fue muy útil: nos ayudaron a mantener el ritmo del evento sin rigidez, adaptándose al momento y haciendo que todo fluyera de forma natural.
La comida fue exquisita, auténtica italiana, no un catering adaptado solo a los extranjeros, lo que hizo que cada plato fuera una experiencia genuina y deliciosa. El servicio fue impecable. Tuvimos un detalle que agradecemos muchísimo: una de las camareras se aseguró de que pudiéramos disfrutar también de los aperitivos, ese momento en el que estás de pie comiendo y hablando con los invitados, y en el que es fácil no probar nada. Gracias a ella, pudimos disfrutar de esa parte con tranquilidad.
El personal fue de diez: amables, atentos y profesionales en todo momento, haciendo que tanto nosotros como nuestros invitados nos sintiéramos cómodos y bien atendidos.
En resumen: si buscáis un lugar con vistas espectaculares, un equipo humano maravilloso y una experiencia auténtica en el Lago de Como, lo recomendamos sin ninguna duda. -

Absolutely breathtaking venue with views so much better than photos - if thats even possible!!
We had the best wedding we could have ever imagined!! This venue is honestly spectacular and doesn't come with the Lake Como price tag which means you can have the ultimate destination wedding with SO many amazing extras and still keep it in budget!
The venue will likely suggest hiring their wedding planner Gaia... who I don't have enough words to explain how amazing she is!! (@DWS_Italy on instagram)
Honestly if you're considering going for this venue - please do it. You won't regret it!!! We planned our wedding from Australia and didn't get to view the venue or do any food tasting beforehand but wow let me please reassure you the food is incredible and the cake is to die for!! -

We hosted our July 2025 wedding at La Madonnina and had the most incredible experience! First off, the venue is absolutely stunning - the views truly speak for themselves. It’s a magical, romantic, and intimate space that feels really special.
We fell in love with how authentic the venue felt and how genuinely kind and wonderful the staff were! Compared to other Lake Como venues we saw, this one felt the most real and Italian. It was the very first venue we visited, and honestly, nothing else came close. It’s the kind of place where locals play scopa on sunny afternoons and enjoy their own special nights out. We could feel that every person working our wedding was doing everything possible to make the day magical not just for us, but for all our guests.
We also appreciated that it’s a bit off the beaten path - away from the busy, touristy downtowns - which gave us a fresh, beautiful perspective on Lake Como and the surrounding area.
And then there’s the food! Wedding food can be tricky. I’ve been a Maid of Honor four times and attended plenty of tastings, but I’ve often been disappointed on the big day because the food just doesn’t match up to the tasting when scaled for 75+ guests. That was not an issue at La Madonnina. The chef is incredible, and the food was exceptional - generous portions and delicious dishes that our guests absolutely loved!
We would relive our wedding day at La Madonnina every day if we could, and we can’t recommend it enough! Especially if you pair it with DWS wedding planners, who know the property inside and out. If you’re even thinking about it, reach out to their team - you won’t regret it! -

Dreamy wedding
The most incredible wedding! My wife and I had our dreams come true by the amazing staff at La Madonannina !! All our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to with the most incredible back drop. We cannot recommend enough - if you are looking for a wedding that feels like a fairytale, this is your place! Thank you to Gaia the best wedding planner ever and all of the staff for being so wonderful! Lake Como has stolen our Scottish hearts! -

A Dream Venue with Impeccable Service and Breathtaking Views
We had our wedding at Tenuta La Madonnina di Barni, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The setting was magical—the panoramic views of the mountains and lake create a stunning backdrop that feels straight out of a movie.
The food was truly exceptional. Every course was beautifully prepared and full of flavour and guests could not stop talking about it.
What made the experience even more special was the staff. They were professional, kind, and completely on top of everything from start to finish. Despite a few weather-related changes on the day, everything ran seamlessly, and we felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands.
Tenuta La Madonnina was an experience. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, excellent cuisine, and top-notch service, we can’t recommend it enough.

Destination wedding that went perfect
We looked at many places for our September wedding, but La madonnina stood out. The location, the experience with weddings and the personal attention. After deciding upon the location, we had a great experience with Gaia, who helped us arrange the wedding. We made use of their wedding club and managed to find quality and experienced suppliers for flowers, photography and music. As a foreign couple, we always felt in control and could rely on the experience of La madonnina and Gaia.
Our wedding day was excellent; the view was stunning, the staff was attentive, the food was excellent, and the day went perfectly. Both the venue and staff exceeded our expectations! -

The most amazing wedding day at a perfect venue
We loved every moment of our wedding.
Gaia was an excellent coordinator and made the process really easy.
We're from the UK and have never visited the venue before, but Gaia helped to put our minds at ease and talked us through everything every step of the way.
Even though the weather decided to rain all day, we were given alternatives as to where to have the ceremony and reception, which was great.
The food was amazing, and there was a lot of it! Perhaps too much food, as we were all struggling to eat everything, but didn't want it to go to waste.
Accommodation on site was lovely, would have been nice to have wifi in the rooms though.
All in all, it was amazing, and everything we wanted, and we'll never forget how wonderful a day it was, and how grateful we are to Gaia for being an excellent coordinator. -

When people say that their wedding was the best day of their lives they really mean it. It was amazing to have all our friends and family reunited in one place. And La Madonnina is close to where I grew up, so it was even extra special!
The venue was amazing. Everyone loved it! The food was fantastic, the chef did a great job. Everyone worked tirelessly to make our day perfect.
The atmosphere was great too, I really loved everything about it. The wedding planner Gaia did a great job at organising everything in every detail as well.
Everything went to plan. Plus, how can you not like the amazing view...
I would totally recommend!
