Where to begin with Stockton House?
In only my wildest dreams did I ever think I could get married in a place as gorgeous as Stockton. Our wedding day, 31/5/25, was exactly that - a dream come true.
Stockton is beautiful - each space perfectly designed and each room effortlessly elegant. But what you see in the stunning photos of Stockton is only a fraction of what makes it so special.
The Stockton team is like no other. Amy is the most incredible person - warm, kind and completely genuine. At every stage, and even when the anxiety kicked in, we were met with nothing but positivity and excitement - we had complete trust in her. Amy was my biggest cheerleader from day one; I felt truly valued and understood. I honestly couldn’t have left that bridal suite without her by my side.
Tom’s food needs no introduction - he just got it. Exactly what we wanted and even better than we could have imagined. Our bespoke menu was some of the most delicious food we’ve ever had, and I lie awake some nights regretting that I didn’t eat enough of it on our wedding day. Thankfully our guests did, and we had rave reviews from all.
Ellie and Hayley were integral parts of our wedding, in both the lead up and on the day - true professionals and the most lovely people. The housekeepers, Mandy and Sue, maintain Stockton to the highest standard, but they go so far beyond that. Theirs were the two smiliest faces early in the morning on the day of our wedding, and I will never forget the much-needed hug from Mandy the morning after when the post-wedding nerves took hold. The waiting and bar staff were also exceptional, and represented Stockton perfectly - Lizzie and Freya were standouts.
Stockton House really is the most special place, where we made memories to last a lifetime - we wish we could do it all over again.
If there are any other brides out there doubting whether you are worthy of a venue like this, you must arrange a visit - Amy and her team will show you that you are.

Stunning Venue & Team
We had the most beautiful day surrounded by all of our loved ones, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning and provided the perfect setting for such a special day. Everything was beautifully presented, and the whole experience was made even more memorable by the incredible team.
A special thank you to Amy, our wedding coordinator, who was exceptional from start to finish. She was so helpful, organised and attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly so we could simply relax and enjoy our day. The rest of the staff were equally fantastic and went above and beyond throughout the day.
We honestly couldn’t recommend the venue and the team enough. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so perfect and giving us memories that we’ll cherish forever. ❤️

We had our wedding at Stockton House on 25.07.26, it truly was the best weekend of our lives — all thanks to Amy and the incredible Stockton House team.
From the moment we decided that Stockton House was the venue for us, we felt like part of the family. Amy and the whole team were amazing from start to finish, supporting us every step of the way which made the whole experience feel so special and stress-free.
The evening before our wedding, we enjoyed a delicious meal outside with our bridal party. The terrace was beautifully set up, it was the perfect way to begin our wedding weekend.
On our wedding day itself, we were looked after so incredibly well, as were all of our guests. So many of them commented on how beautiful the venue was and how much they loved the whole experience. It really felt like we were in the best possible hands throughout the entire weekend.
If you’re considering Stockton House for your wedding or any special occasion, just do it — you absolutely won’t regret it! We couldn’t recommend Amy and the Stockton House team highly enough. Thank you for helping make our wedding weekend so unforgettable! 🤍💙 -

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue, Stockton House was everything that we had dreamed of our venue being and so much more. From the moment we first visited, Amy made us feel so welcome and supported and she was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole planning process, always there to answer our questions and provide any support or recommendations we needed.
On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly this is all thanks to Amy, Liv and the rest of the team. The venue looked absolutely stunning, the staff were professional, friendly, and always one step ahead, and every detail was taken care of so we could simply relax and enjoy our day. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how lovely all of the staff were.
We would like to say an extra special thank you to Amy for being amazing from the first visit where she made us feel like family. We would also like to say an extra special thank you to Liv who despite our wedding only being her second was a pro and handled our day (and guests) brilliantly, she made sure that we had absolutely everything we could need and was absolutely lovely. We can’t thank either of them enough for everything they did.
Thank you for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime. We would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful setting and an exceptional team to make their wedding day truly special. -

From the moment we first visited Stockton House, we knew it was somewhere special, but after getting married there on 4th July, we can honestly say it exceeded every expectation!
Amy made us feel like part of the Stockton House family from day one, throughout the entire planning process, she was always there whenever we needed her. She regularly invited us to events at the venue, which meant we could visit often and made the whole journey even more exciting and personal.
One of the things that made Stockton House so unique was having the house exclusively for the whole weekend. It truly felt like home!
We were able to relax, spend quality time with our loved ones, and enjoy every single moment without feeling rushed. It made our wedding weekend so much more than just one day.
The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. Every part of Stockton House is beautifully maintained, and our wedding photos are simply stunning thanks to the incredible surroundings. Every corner offers the perfect backdrop, and we're so grateful to have such beautiful memories captured there.
We've already recommended Stockton House to friends after they saw just how incredible our wedding was, and they loved it so much that they’ve already booked their own wedding there! We honestly can't think of a better recommendation than that.
Thank you to Amy and the entire Stockton House team for giving us the most perfect wedding weekend. We wish we could do it all over again!

A truly incredible wedding venue! On top of the actual site (house, church and grounds) being the most beautiful venue, there’s an exceptional team behind it. This was the only venue we viewed because we knew instantly it was perfect for us with an incredible reputation.
Thank you to Amy, Ellie and the team at stockton house (who are all so friendly and hardworking! A particular shout out to Sue for 2 delicious breakfasts) for making our dream wedding a stunning reality. Working with Amy throughout the planning process made our wedding less stressful. She’s organised, incredibly knowledgeable, proactive, intuitive and observant. This means the heavy lifting is taken care behind the scenes so you get to enjoy the experience in the lead up to the wedding with little stress.
The day itself couldn’t have gone better, the team are attentive, the food was stunning and menus built exactly as we’d planned out with them. Small touches like having our own canapé tray so we didn’t miss out when running around speaking to guests and doing photos.
Amy is like an orchestra conductor and somehow is everywhere at once making sure the bride and groom are taken care of throughout the entire day.
We were so fortunate to have had an entire weekend full of so much happiness at this venue with a bridal party meal the evening before and big family breakfast the following morning. Our guests got to stay in the most gorgeous rooms which are all unique and characterful.
Many of our guests commented on how our wedding was their favourite ever and we know that Stockton house played a majority role in this.
Stockton house is a stunning, traditional venue with everything needed for a truly special day.
Only critique is that Amy seemed to love our dogs (who attended the planning sessions and wedding) more than us…

There are no words to describe how amazing Amy and the rest of the Stockton team are and we cannot thank them enough for ensuring we had the BEST wedding day we could ever imagine! Not only is the venue stunning but Amy who is in charge went beyond her call in always being on hand replying to any and all questions we had (and trust me there were many!) We also want to thank not just Amy but the rest of her staff who were incredibly helpful on the day and we cannot forget to thank M&S the dream team, ladies you are both brilliant. From start to finish the attention to detail was amazing and the team really had you feel special and not like just another couple (which was the impression we got from other venues). The food was amazing and all of our guests commented for days after about how delicious it was. The rooms for our family to stay in on sight were lovely and had really nice small touches, the victorian turn table where we got marriage was also magical and something our guests commented on time and time again.
We cannot recommend enough booking Stockton as your wedding venue, you will not regret it. Trust us if we could do the day again we would and hiring Stockton was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. -

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Stockton House for our wedding. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was something special — the house is absolutely stunning, and the grounds create the most beautiful backdrop for photos.
What truly sets Stockton House apart, though, is the team. Every single member of staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was seamless. Amy the Venue Manager was simply incredible from start to finish. Hayley also did a great job helping as well as the whole Team worked very hard. The planning process felt calm and organised, and nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day itself, everything ran perfectly, which meant we could completely relax and enjoy every moment. We were even lucky to have dry weather on 11th October 2025 & it was lovely in the autumn colours. We also even had a wonderful sunset.
The food was exceptional — so many of our guests commented on how incredible it was — and having the option to tailor the menu made it feel even more personal. The exclusive use of the house made the whole day feel intimate and special, almost like we were hosting the most elegant house party with all our favourite people, I want to give a shout out to Tom the Chef.
The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and made the overnight stay such a lovely part of the experience. Waking up the next morning and reliving the day with our closest family and friends was the perfect ending to an unforgettable celebration.
We genuinely can’t recommend Stockton House highly enough. If you’re considering it as your wedding venue — book it. You won’t regret it.

We have nothing but good words to say about Stockton House. From the moment we stepped foot in Stockton the staff made it feel like home. The venue itself is completely spotless and just beautifully designed, it has everything you could want- from incredible views to perfect bedrooms! However, this is all made even more incredible by the team themselves. Amy, the venue manager was organised, friendly, hardworking and is nothing but determined to make everyone’s wedding perfect and tailored to them! She gets to know every couple and welcomes you into the Stockton family with open arms. Not only this but she is there throughout the whole day of your wedding ensuring that it runs smoothly and effortlessly, keeping you calm when you need it but most definitely bringing the party too!! The food from Wild Garlic catering for our day was delicious and everyone at our wedding commented on how impressive the food was.
We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect venue for our special day and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat!! -

From the moment we entered Stockton House, we knew it was the place we would get married, such a welcoming place and a welcoming team - stunning setting and so many options for the day.
Absolutely stunning venue, an incredible team of people who are all so knowledgeable about not only the venue but also every single element you might want in your day! Also they have very close links with vendors with whom they work on a regular basis so they can direct you for every single thing you might need - literally every one of our vendors were initially met at a Stockton House showcase, or directed to by Amy.
There are so, so many highlights for this venue but the stand outs are:
- Use of the entire venue for the full weekend - it is basically like having your own staffed house.
- The option for a bespoke menu which you talk through with Tom the chef, he was able to accommodate our entirely plant based menu without any issue whatsoever.
- Amy is the bottom line - if she says you can have it, you can have it! There was absolutely nothing we asked for that was not accommodated, and Amy knows everything about the venue so often would suggest a slight tweak that would work better, or had done it before and had mastered it already.
- Mandy & Sue - essential part of the team that were there from the afternoon on the Friday until the Sunday morning, ensuring we were very well looked after.
Cannot recommend this beautiful venue and team highly enough - incredible setting, incredible service from the very first visit until the morning we left as a married couple.
