The best day of our lives

My wife and I were married here in April of 2025, and it was honestly only through the hard work of the events team at the hotel that it was all possible.

From the moment we met our event planners, Nikola and Sharif, we knew we were in safe hands. They are two of the most professional and organised people we could have asked for and the work they did to make our day a reality was truly above and beyond. Both of them went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our day went off without a hitch and both were always available to us no matter what we needed.

As for the day itself – the staff were exceptional from minute 1. They were polite, courteous and handled anything the day threw at them. Everyone, together, made our day the happiest we could have asked for.

We cannot recommend the South Place Hotel enough. All of our guests from our wedding walked away talking about how incredible it is, from the rooms to the event itself. If you ever get the chance to hold an event at the South Place Hotel, do not hesitate.

Perfect Day

When I first started looking for wedding venues, South Place was the only one I could find that fitted what we wanted, and when we went to see it we realised there’s was no need to look anywhere else. There were so many rooms to allow for all options and not only that, it also came with Nikola who made the whole process so much easier, nothing was too much to ask and everything became possible.
Food and drink was really important to us (the groom being a chef) and we couldn’t have hoped for these to be any better, really the best food at a wedding we have ever had and the kitchen was so adaptable to our requests.
The hotel itself is just perfect too; 5 Star but without any pretentiousness, great location and fantastic staff.
The day was better than we could have ever imagined and the hotel will always be very special to us, a huge thank you to Nikola and the whole team for making it the most perfect day.

I cannot fault south place at all the staff

Nikola was one of the best wedding coordinators I could of wished for

On hand at every step of the way and nothing was to big for her to deal with

Where is there 7 stars??
My husband and I had our wedding reception here on 9.9.17. The entire experience, from being introduced to Amy Frank (the wonderful wedding planner) through all the planning, accommodation and our wedding day itself were all absolutely 1st class.
The hotel is in an excellent location in the city of London, literally 2 min walk from the station.
South Place has a unique luxurious style throughout the whole of the Hotel.
Amy and her team are extremely attentive and do genuinely care about the service they provide.
They are all very friendly and welcoming, always ready to attend and quick to respond to any of your needs.
Accommodation is absolutely amazing, the rooms are out of this world. I had the pleasure of staying at suite 610 the night before our wedding. Myself/ family / photographer and hair/makeup artists were blown away with the stunning features of this suite.
My family chose to stay at SPH throughout their remaining time in London due to the amazing time they had staying over the period of the wedding.
Food and drink are superb!
Our wedding day was 100% awesome/fun/classy/exciting and truly exceeded our expectations. Amy's attention to details is remarkable, please trust her experience and creativity when you book your event at SPH.

We cannot wait to stay here again & most certainly will!

Blown away

You will not find a better hotel in London! This was the reception place for our daughters wedding and we were absolutely blown away by the one on one service from the moment we walked in the door til we left days later (extended our stay because we loooooved it) Amy Franks the Event planner is one of a kind - nothing was missed to make the event magical - everyone that attended said it was by far the best wedding they had been to. As far as accommodation - we have stayed all over the world but this hotel takes the pick as No.1 right from front desk service, amenities, rooms exquisite, beds sooooo dreamy, block out blinds NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH for the staff. Food was world class. We were made to feel very special. Thank you Amy for making Alex and Kayla's day so very memorable and making us all feel so special. Would always pick SOUTH PLACE whilst in London

It was amazing!!

Hi Amy,

How are you? It feels like forever since we last emailed!

David and I just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping us plan our wedding party! It was amazing!! Our last few guests left London over the weekend, but every single one of them has not stopped talking about it since. So many have said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! We couldn’t have done it all without your help :)

We have tagged photos with our # if you want to have a look at the photos on Instagram - they are mostly from earlier in the day as by the time everyone arrived at South Place they were all so in the moment no one really took photos! Our photographers stayed until the very end though, and say they have loads of great snaps and footage so I’ll show you when we get them!

I keep daydreaming about it and want to do it all again, we still can’t quite believe its all over! Thank goodness we have our honeymoon to look forward to next week.

My one piece of advice for a bride to be - Eat as much as you can, even if you don’t feel like it! I missed out on a LOT of food because I was too busy smiling and jumping around on the dance floor! Now I’m craving all those bowl foods, though I didn’t have a single one! Mmmm pie...

Hey Amy!

Apologies for the long silence.

We're back and back at it again, enjoying life without planning!

Thanks so much for organising such a great day for us and helping it all go so smoothly. We had such a great time at the reception, but not only that, we and our guests had a great time at the hotel and everyone took such good care of us - so many people said how lovely the staff were! And the big suite for us was amazing ... We got up early on the Sunday to enjoy it, ha!

Hope to catch up soon and send over some photos. Hope that your wedding goes wonderfully and that you're able to relax and enjoy the day and letting someone else be in control of the organising!

Jeremie and I would like to thank you so much for organising our event. All was just perfect and couldn't be better!

We were so happy with everything, the staff was so kind and helpful. Food amazing! All our guests loved every part of the evening and said that it was one of the best weddings they have been to!

A huge Thank You

Hi Amy - Firstly, I hope all is well, just wanted to say a huge Thank You to you especially but also to the South Place Hotel team, the Angler chef and staff for making our wedding day so amazing. We truly had a wonderful day, fantastic memories for life! Thank you so so much the South Place Hotel is an amazing venue but I think you guys that work their are the reason it is so amazing!!
