Fabulous venue
We had the most incredible day and we cannot thank Ben and Laura enough. From our very first viewing to the wedding day itself, they have been incredible and supportive - nothing was too much trouble. They go above and beyond! They take the time to get to know you as a couple so that they can make sure your day is personal! All of their staff are friendly and felt like part of our day - dancing behind the bar, smiling and being accommodating!
We chose this venue because it was like no other venue we had been to see (we saw a lot!). We could not have been more pleased with our decision; there were so many personal touches and extras that you just don’t get anywhere else - the tractor ride and leaf! We would 100% recommend them to anyone! -

What a place you have myself and my partner got married here on the 15th of August it was a dream come true you have a Piece of Heaven on Earth at sission barn.
The food was five star from start to finish Ben and Laura were very professional and caring they were so accommodating to all of our requests nothing was a hassle thank you both and your staff for day we will never forget all our love Mr and Mrs stanbridge xx -

From the moment we booked our wedding at Sissons Barn, the whole team made the planning process feel effortless. They were incredibly accommodating to every request we had, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble.
The meetings leading up to the wedding, along with their fantastic communication throughout, made everything so easy and stress-free. Ben and Laura were absolutely amazing—they made us feel so comfortable from the very beginning and answered every question we had promptly and thoroughly.
On the wedding day, they were incredibly supportive, organised, and calm, ensuring everything ran smoothly so we could simply enjoy every moment. Their attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and the food was incredible. We received so many compliments from our guests about both the beautiful setting and the quality of the food.
Sissons Barn truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team, and we would recommend Sissons Barn to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding venue. Thank you for making our day so special!

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue than Sissons Barn. From the moment we booked until the final moments of our wedding day, everything was seamless, stress-free, and truly special.
A huge part of that was down to Ben and Laura. As owners who have been through the wedding experience themselves, they brought such a personal and relatable touch to every step of the journey. Their knowledge, guidance, and calm approach meant we never had to worry about a thing. They knew exactly what they were doing and were always on hand with advice, reassurance, and practical solutions, making the whole process feel effortless.
The venue itself is stunning, with so many unique touches that make the day unforgettable. One of our favourite moments was the tractor ride through the fields and along the river – such a fun and memorable experience, and a fantastic opportunity to take in the beautiful surroundings and capture some incredible photos. It's those little touches that make Sissons Barn stand out from other venues.
The venue is beautiful, but it's the people behind it that make it truly exceptional. We felt completely supported throughout and were able to relax and enjoy every moment of our day knowing everything was in safe hands.
It was genuinely one of the best experiences we've ever had, and we're already missing being there. Sissons Barn will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we can't thank Ben and Laura enough for helping create memories that will last a lifetime.

We visited Sissons Barn for an open day in January 2025 and were impressed by what was on offer; a charming rural venue, modern but traditional building and tasty food. On arrival, the log burner was ablaze and there was a warm welcome. We also noted that modern air conditioning was installed for use in warmer weather.
We visited a couple of other venues but came back to Sissons Barn due to its location and our interest in supporting the rural economy and farm diversification. Other venues seemed to lack the style and sophistication we were seeking and in this respect, Sissons ‘hit the mark’. Once we had our date, everything fitted into place. We were guided by Ben & Laura and were impressed with how the day went. Our guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the front lawns whilst we enjoyed photos in the gardens, a short tractor ride and a few glasses of bubbles. This was followed by a tasty 3 course meal prepared by Chef Keith and served up by Holly and team.
Our evening grazing table was of notable quality. The cheeses were particularly good and many guests commented on the quality of the evening foods. Everyone was suitably catered for with good service and enjoyed our wedding celebration. Thank you for a lovely day.

From the moment we arrived at Sissons Barn, we were swept away by its rustic charm and romantic setting. Nestled in the countryside with serene views along the river, it was everything we had hoped for — and more.
Ben’s words of wisdom, “trust the process and follow my guidance,” rang true throughout our journey and none more so With the bride's entrance. With Ben and Laura by our side, everything felt possible — and somehow, it always was. Their support was unwavering, their energy infectious, and their attention to detail truly remarkable. Helpful, friendly, and genuinely engaging, they made us feel not just cared for, but understood.
We cannot speak highly enough of the entire team, the stunning venue, and the exceptional catering staff of Beetroot Caterers. Holly, in particular, was superb — attentive, gracious, and a true professional on front of house. Our guests showered us with compliments, echoing our own feelings about the day.
To Ben and Laura: the biggest of heartfelt thanks. Through this process, we feel like we’ve gained not just a perfect wedding day, but two wonderful new friends. We recommend Sissons Barn with all our hearts — it’s a place where magic truly happens. ❤️
