Shuttleworth House: Our DREAM Wedding Venue!
I honestly don't know where to start with this review because everything about Shuttleworth House was incredible! It was my dream wedding venue and Georgia- and the rest of her team were superb! Not only is it a beautiful building but they work very hard to ensure that the history of Shuttleworth is preserved and to conserve the building and furnishings. Therefore the House is really well-maintained and not tired like some other wedding venues we looked at. It also feels as though it's your home-away-from-home for the day- if you hire the entire House- because you're free to choose how to use the rooms and have full access, which was perfect for having quiet zones etc. or places for children to play. This also means you have lots of freedom to choose your decor and have ownership over various aspects of the day. Finally, in the lead up to the big day, Georgia and her team were always incredibly responsive to any questions we had, no matter how small. It was so reassuring to have her there and to know that we were in safe hands. I genuinely wish I could get married at Shuttleworth all over again! -

Shuttleworth House, or more specifically the Swiss Cottage in the gardens provided us with a delightful intimate wedding venue. Georgia as our wedding planner was very professional and quick to respond to our emails along the way. On the day everything went smoothly and all staff involved were fantastic. Thank you. -

The Perfect Day
Our wedding was in the Swiss cottage in the Swiss Gardens. Our wedding day was perfect! From arrival to the ceremony to the drinks on the lawn. We couldn't fault a single part of our day.

We had the most magical day, our ceremony was in the Swiss Gardens and we had drinks afterwards on the lawn. We had Prosecco, jugs of Pimm’s and beer served. The staff were amazing, Georgia and her team are friendly, efficient and help the day run smoothly.

The most beautiful wedding venue
Cannot recommend Shuttleworth enough. Georgia is such a joy to work with, she really put me at ease for our wedding planning, she is very attentive and remembered all the little details that were important to us l. We also were fortunate to work with Steph who I met when we first looked round Shuttleworth. Steph is so lovely and was great at showing us on the day the best places for photographs. We were so fortunate to get beautiful weather on the day. The Swiss gardens were we had our ceremony is truly such a beautiful venue. I really did feel like I was in a fairytale. -

The Grotto & Fernery was our perfect venue
We visited the Swiss gardens in spring and knew if it looked magical in the rain then it would be amazing in Autumn. We could tell Georgia was very experienced, she explained all the options clearly and kept in touch with us throughout the process. They had recently applied for an extended license for the grotto and Georgia kept in touch and confirmed that we could invite a few more guests. On the day of our wedding in early October, everything went smoothly. Georgia and her team ensured everyone was where they were meant to be. Would definitely recommend visiting this beautiful venue! -

Beautiful venue, you need to see to believe. From beginning to end the venue was easy to work with, Georgia was amazing. They have a good list of wedding catering and musicians that know and work with the venue well and Shuttleworth was a favourite everyone we spoke to. All our guests loved it and said how lovely it was. I feel very lucky to have had our special day here. -

Absolutely incredible venue
I cannot recommend Shuttleworth enough as a wedding venue, everything from the staff, to the rooms and the location. It was absolutely fantastic and made the wedding magical. Georgia (the wedding/venue manager) is on top of everything and will help you think of things you may have missed! Katie (who was in charge in the evening) was so kind and helpful when we forgot to cut the cake! Overall an absolutely incredible experience. Our guests didn't want to leave! -
