Natasia and Pat were absolutely brilliant from day one, super responsive on email answering all my questions. They were so supportive on the big day as well when Jack was setting up the venue, putting his nerves at ease and helping with all the logistics -

Perfect Day
Sheriff Hutton Castle has been on my doorstep for so long that it was always going to be the perfect venue for our wedding. The backdrop of the castle is beautiful for photos and inside feels cosy and intimate. There was zero stress booking this venue and everything went to plan. The owners are always there if you need them but will also leave you to get on with it and just enjoy your day. Couldn’t recommend them enough! -

Everything felt right from day 1, it was not only a breathe taking location, but the owners made our day so perfect and stress free, I cannot recommend sheriff Hutton castle enough. Truly 10 out of 10 :) -

Such an amazing place
We had the best day here on Sat 14/6/25 the venue was unbelievable the weather was great the views were great perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. Natasia and Pat were so helpful . Cannot recommend this place highly enough. 5☆+ -

Just wow! What a venue! When we visited we just knew that this was where we wanted to get married. Rustic feel with a sense of grandness that comes from a castle setting.
Natasia and Pat were lovely, very accommodating to our ideas and very helpful when it came to suggesting local suppliers.
The venue provided the most perfect backdrop to our celebration, providing amazing memories for us and our guests. -

Incredible!
This is an incredible location for a small wedding. We were looking for somewhere unique and simple, and the castle ruin is stunning while not being ostentatious.
We had our ceremony in the small room at the base of the southern tower, and had the courtyard for 3 hours afterwards for drinks and canapés. We used the nearby village hall for the remainder of our reception.
The couple who manage the site are extremely friendly and accommodating. This really is a perfect venue for anybody looking for something different and memorable for their wedding day.

A huge THANK YOU to Natasia and Pat at Sheriff Hutton Castle!
They were both so helpful and accommodating on our wedding day and during the build up. So many of our guests have commented on how magical the castle setting was and we will treasure the memories of our big day in Sheriff Hutton. Staying at the cute Lodge was the cherry on top :) Thank you for the little details in there including our flowers turning up!!
Such a special place - once we visited we fell in love with it. Could not recommend more if you are looking for a unique place to get married.
