The sandman were amazing the deal with from when we first viewed the venue. We had a quote through later that day and emails were always responded to quickly. We dealt with Molly from start to finish and she was always helpful and didn’t mind all the questions we asked!
On the day Molly came into the bridal suite a few times to keep us up to date with things downstairs. The hotel allowed our providers to set up the night before so we were able to see the room in advance which was lovely.
On the day Russell was in charge of how the day ran and made sure it went smoothly. The meals were all served in a timely manner and we had so many good reviews of the food. The rooms were turned over quickly without guests being out for too long. The staff were all kind and polite and made sure everyone’s glass was topped up at the drinks reception.
The hotel helped make our day the best and we couldn’t have asked it to have gone any better.

Molly Gray our events manager did an exceptional job of organising our wedding. From start to finish nothing was an issue and the whole day went like clockwork. Molly made the experience hassle free, with great communication through out the planning process and the whole team on the day were excellent. Everyone commented on how amazing the venue was and the staff were fantastic.
I can’t thank everyone enough for making our wedding day so special and stress free. -

The Perfect Wedding Party Venue!
We cannot thank Molly and the team enough for creating the perfect evening for us. From the second we met Molly she made us feel as if the options were endless and that we would have full control and we wouldn’t have to run to a specific timeline. We received fast responses, every single question of ours were answered and if we wanted to have a look around the hotel - it was never an issue. The night of the party was smooth, classy and absolutely beautiful with all the lights the venue has to offer. The perfect party venue in Aberdeen! -

The sandman was a fantastic venue the host our wedding. The staff were amazing in the build up in helping us organise and plan. On the day they were amazing in getting the guests organised and coordinating the vendors. The day ran smoothly and wedding breakfast was amazing.
They were very well priced and delivered real value for money. -

Had our wedding at Sandman Signature Hotel and from the start they were exceptionally helpful. I was the most disorganised bride ever but Molly and her team took care of everything. They actually helped with me thinking about little extras. The food was amazing and the Decor was exactly how I wished it would be. Highly recommend Sandman for weddings Thank you to all the team

We had such a fabulous experience at the Sandman Signature in Aberdeen. We had stayed here 2 years prior to our big day for the first time and had got engaged that weekend. We knew this was the perfect hotel for our wedding. When enquiring about this hotel as a possible wedding venue we were put onto Molly, events manager. Molly made the process so easy, emailing back and forth the year before and keeping me updated. Also on our wedding day herself and Russel made the day run so smoothly, we were actually ahead of schedule! Molly made sure we were all on the same floor. It was a lovely relaxed wedding with all our own special touches in the Sandman. The meal was fantastic and a highlight of many of our guests trip. The hotel and waiting staff could not have been kinder/more helpful. Rooms were spotless and the suite was fantastic size for hair/make up/photography! would highly recommend I have nothing negative to say of this hotel. -

From first meeting Molly the co-ordinator and we'd decided to book the Sandman, the whole experience was great. Communication with Molly was great during the planning and she was always happy answering my queries and even gave some great advice for certain things that we followed.
The hotel has a policy of no confetti inside, which is understandable, but as we got married at the end of September I didn't want to risk an outside confetti shot, so I asked Molly if we could do a bubble tunnel instead and was so delighted that this was allowed inside, it ended up looking amazing.
6 months before the big day we attended a menu tasting at the hotel, run by Russel, this was a great night and helped us finalise our menu choices, which was hard to do as the packages and choices are all great.
The hotel is a beautiful old building, inside is modern and stunning. The locations for great photo's within the hotel are endless. Oh, and it's dog friendly so we were able to have our Collies with us for the ceremony and hung around for a few photo's, this was really special for us.
The day itself went so smoothly, I wondered why I'd been worrying about all the little details on the run up to it. Molly and Russel had everything in complete control and I can't thank them both enough for making the day so stress free and enjoyable, not only for myself and my husband, but for all the guests.
Having everything in one place was something we'd wanted for our day and this is the perfect venue for that. Using the mezzanine level for drinks and canapes after the ceremony was fantastic. I also have to mention the toilets next to the ballroom, amazing, giant mirror perfect for all the inevitable toilet selfies! Plus it was great to have toilets and the bar next to the ballroom so guests didn't have to use the main hotel facilities.
The ballroom is split in 2 for the ceremony and meal, I worried it would look empty with 50 guests for the meal, but it didn't. Then it's opened up for the reception with a large stage and massive dance floor! Very important! The best part about the ballroom is being able to pick the colours of lighting you want!
Guests who had never been to the hotel before commented how excellent it was. Also the meal, a few telling us it was the best wedding meal they'd had.
Overall we're so pleased we went with the Sandman, central location, easy for guests to get to and plenty of rooms for those who wish to stay, many of ours did and all had a great experience.
And it really was the most amazing day! -
