We honestly couldn’t recommend Rushton Hall enough. We had our wedding here and it was genuinely the best day of our lives.
From the very beginning, the team were incredible. Maddie, Andrew and the whole team looked after us so well in the build-up and throughout the wedding day. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they took care of every little detail, which meant we could completely relax and enjoy the day.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. It looked incredible during the day, but seeing Rushton Hall lit up in the evening was something else. So many of our guests commented on how magical the venue looked and what an amazing atmosphere it created. Honestly, the photos don’t do the venue justice — it is absolutely breathtaking in person.
Yes, Rushton Hall is on the more expensive side, but it is genuinely worth every penny. The level of service, the setting, the attention to detail and the way the whole team look after you make it completely worth it.
And the food… honestly, it was ridiculous! We still don’t know how you manage to serve so many meals at once and have every single plate looking incredible while also tasting unbelievable. The food was genuinely top tier throughout the whole day, and our guests were raving about it.
Having Maddie as our coordinator was like having our own wedding planner. She was there throughout the whole process, always on hand, always helpful and made everything feel completely stress-free.
Then having Andrew as our toastmaster on the day was brilliant. He just seemed to take control of everything, kept everyone where they needed to be and made sure the whole day ran seamlessly. We could just enjoy ourselves knowing everything was being taken care of.
The whole day genuinely felt like a movie. From the ceremony through to the evening, everything was better than we could have imagined.
The staff were fantastic from start to finish and genuinely made us feel like royalty. Everyone was friendly, professional and attentive, and you could tell how much effort went into making sure everything ran perfectly.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue. Rushton Hall gave us the most incredible memories and played such a huge part in making our wedding everything we dreamed of.
Thank you to everyone at Rushton Hall for making our day so special. The whole experience was second to none, and we would recommend the venue to anyone looking for somewhere truly special to get married.

We got married at Rushton Hall and had the best day! The Orangery is the perfect backdrop for photos and drinks reception. We had our ceremony in the picture room and the wedding breakfast in the ballroom and I’m so pleased we did as it meant we fully utilised the Orangery. The on site wedding coordinators were really friendly and responsive to all of our wedding related queries and I loved all of our wedding appointments leading up to the wedding. All the bedrooms are gorgeous and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed a day in the spa and afternoon tea in The Great Hall and would definitely like to stay at the hotel again. We would highly recommend Rushton Hall for any special occasion in any season. It was the perfect day!

My partner and I were so excited to book this venue for our wedding in 2020 - but then Covid -19 hit. My advice to any couple looking at this venue for their wedding is think twice about having a wedding here. Understandably Covid-19 has made all our lives difficult but Rushton Hall were difficult throughout the whole process.
Firstly wedding guests were unable to get a refund on the rooms they had booked the night before - Rushton Hall stated that they could only move their booking, which really wasn’t very helpful since they had only booked because of a wedding - eventually though Rushton Hall did refund guests after some lengthily discussions.
However regarding our wedding due to covid this couldn’t take place. Rushton Hall only stated that we could only move the date and were not entitled a refund (even though no money had been spent from their side on the wedding.) After seeking legal advice we were entitled to a refund but Rushton Hall were most unhelpful. It is very disappointing that such a venue can treat its customers this way.
So in summary I would say consider your options but I would not be recommending Rushton Hall.
