An absolutely brilliant place with lovely staff, and so reasonably priced. And although reasonably priced everything was top quality - the food was great. I'm recommending it to anyone who asks. Most of our guests were older or had various medical issues and nothing was too much. The dj even checked that the lights were OK for my epileptic sister, and he's a brilliant dj.
We also booked rooms at the lodge, which my family say were also lovely and comfortable.

Stunning wedding venue
My daughter’s wedding was held here on the 28th March. The marquee was absolutely stunning. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They did everything they could to make our day perfect. The professionalism and attention to detail were first class. I would highly recommend the lodge rettendon wedding marquee. -

Wedding Day!
Wow! Where to even begin…..
We booked our wedding here last August! And from the minute we booked to the day we got married in February everything was just perfect.
From all the help from the wonderful owners, to our wedding planner Samantha, Annie and all the staff in the lodge! Thank you ♥️
Every little detail was considered and all our requests were carried out with perfection.
The day flowed perfectly, the attention to detail was amazing. From organising the times, to waking down the Aisle, the food, drinks, Dj and staff! I would highly recommended this venue for your wedding, or any event as its first class! I would give this 100 stars if I could because it was just the best day ever!!!

Samantha, Ann, Richard the Chef and their team of Shelly, Molly & Fayre every jazz night are friendly, very helpful and can't do enough to make the evenings successful with a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
Attention to detail is amazing along with tasty meals created by top Chef Richard South.
Club members can't hold them all in high enough esteem.
I highly recommend Rettendon Lodge to any persons wishing to use the venue for their wedding or any other function.

Our wedding day
Everyone says not everything will go to plan and no ones day is perfect, but I can tell you ours was !
Everything ran so smoothly and was absolutely perfect for us.
All our family and friends have gave nothing but positive comments about the day, the venue and the staff that supported.
Thank you for making our day so special and one we will remember forever.
From the moment we viewed the lodge we knew it was where we wanted to get married.
The package blew us away with what was included and all suppliers involved were lovely.
We couldn't recommend this venue more.

wedding planners, we knew this was the
venue for us. First class, stress free from start to finish & could not of wished for a better service
from organising event, to food, cake cutting, decor, bar, DJ no detail was left out & all the staff

We looked at several venues, but the fact that we had so much flexibility made the Lodge the best option. We had the ability to completely tailor the day to suit our needs. All of the staff were brilliant, the venue was the perfect size. The DJ was brilliant too. We both sat down the next day and said there was not one thing we would have changed about it.
We wanted to have the ceremony outside and the team had two seating plans arranged for us should the weather change. The bar drinks were extremely reasonably priced.
We opted for a BBQ and it was a very good choice, all of the guests commented on the food and they liked the fact it was less formal. The food for the buffet was really good also.
The staff were constantly clearing the tables and making sure we were all ok.
I really cannot recommend this venue enough. We cannot thank them enough for making our day so special and all of our guests all agreed.
