We had our wedding here in March this year and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, the service was excellent — we had regular meetings in the lead-up to make sure everything was planned and ran smoothly on the day.
The staff were absolutely amazing and took care of everything, meaning we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. It made the whole day completely stress-free and allowed us to just enjoy every moment.
We had a particular theme in mind for our wedding party setup, and Sam and Ann went above and beyond to help us achieve it. The space looked absolutely beautiful - even better than we had imagined!
We honestly couldn’t recommend this venue enough, the staff, the service, and the attention to detail were all outstanding. Thank you for helping make our day so special! -

A wonderful day.
My daughter had her wedding reception at the lodge on a Monday evening - a twilight wedding. We were able to get into the marquee early on the Monday morning to decorate and the Photo Booth, Dj were able to get access readily whilst we attended the ceremony elsewhere so they could set up. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious, they chose the hot buffet of seven items and it was a perfect amount for the 70 guests.
The grounds outside are beautiful, perfect for unforgettable photographs with manicured gardens and a beautiful pond and trees as a backdrop.
A wonderful venue and I would highly recommend it for any celebration, not just weddings. -

Me and my husband booked our wedding 3 years in advance and from the moment we booked Sam and her staff were so helpful. On the day all the staff went above and beyond from start to finish. The venue looked absolutely stunning. I had so many family members telling me that it was one of the best wedding venues that they have been to. If I could do it all over again I’d still pick this venue no doubt about it. 100% recommendRettendon Lodge Events's reply:

From the minute we booked Samantha and Anne were helpful and accommodating.
Anything I asked Samantha she would reply to every one of my queries.
Even when I wanted to make amendments after my itinerary was made she was most helpful making changes.
My decor looked stunning and my guests all commented how beautiful the venue was!
The roast carvery was delicious and I had comments from my vegetarian guests that the beetroot wellington was divine.
On the evening of my wedding nothing was too much trouble for Samantha and Anne and the bar staff were really friendly and helpful. I had childcare for my son who has additional needs and they made sure she was looked after and ensured they took her a meal and drinks outside when she couldn’t sit at the table.
Ian the dj , well he was great , a good host , confident and great music for the evening disco.
All in all we had a fantastic day and everything ran smoothly!

I had viewed a few venues and they didn’t come close to what I had visioned. We were getting married in Cyprus but I wanted a Uk party, all the venues I’d looked at weren’t ticking the boxes, and then a friend recommended the Lodge. As soon as I walked in I fell in love. The decor was stunning it was private and spacious. My package included food, lights and a dj. Samantha was so easy to communicate with and we had meetings before so I knew the timeline for my guests. The food was so yummy and Dj had everyone dancing all night. We were then able to book a room in the main building to stay the night. We had a great second celebration thank you so muchRettendon Lodge Events's reply:

An absolutely brilliant place with lovely staff, and so reasonably priced. And although reasonably priced everything was top quality - the food was great. I'm recommending it to anyone who asks. Most of our guests were older or had various medical issues and nothing was too much. The dj even checked that the lights were OK for my epileptic sister, and he's a brilliant dj.
We also booked rooms at the lodge, which my family say were also lovely and comfortable.

Stunning wedding venue
My daughter’s wedding was held here on the 28th March. The marquee was absolutely stunning. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They did everything they could to make our day perfect. The professionalism and attention to detail were first class. I would highly recommend the lodge rettendon wedding marquee.Rettendon Lodge Events's reply:

Wedding Day!
Wow! Where to even begin…..
We booked our wedding here last August! And from the minute we booked to the day we got married in February everything was just perfect.
From all the help from the wonderful owners, to our wedding planner Samantha, Annie and all the staff in the lodge! Thank you ♥️
Every little detail was considered and all our requests were carried out with perfection.
The day flowed perfectly, the attention to detail was amazing. From organising the times, to waking down the Aisle, the food, drinks, Dj and staff! I would highly recommended this venue for your wedding, or any event as its first class! I would give this 100 stars if I could because it was just the best day ever!!!

Samantha, Ann, Richard the Chef and their team of Shelly, Molly & Fayre every jazz night are friendly, very helpful and can't do enough to make the evenings successful with a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
Attention to detail is amazing along with tasty meals created by top Chef Richard South.
Club members can't hold them all in high enough esteem.
I highly recommend Rettendon Lodge to any persons wishing to use the venue for their wedding or any other function.
