We recently had our wedding on 30.05.2025 at Milling Barn and I cannot fault the staff or venue in any way. We were extremely lucky to have Niamh as our wedding planner and from the very first meeting, she has been exceptional and always there for when we needed advice or had any questions. On the day, it ran so smoothly and all the staff were so professional. The venue is absolutely stunning - we received so many compliments in regards to the staff and how beautiful the venue is. We cannot thank you all at Milling Barn enough and highly recommend future wedding couples to pick Milling Barn as their venue.

We had the first wedding of 2026 at the venue with its new and highly improved makeover! The whole process from the start was so professional and inviting. Ami our wedding coordinator was excellent throughout the planning process as well as on the day! The staff on the day were so lovely and helpful they really are a credit and so hard working! The venue is a beautiful setting that you don't need to do much to to make it look and feel special. The grounds were impeccable and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We had our whole wedding at the venue and everything ran so smoothly. The food was next level! We are a family of foodies so for us that was a big thing! From the canapes to the wedding breakfast to the pizzas in the evening delicious. All our guests said how yummy everything was!! We had no worries throughout the day we just enjoyed every moment because Ami and her amazing staff took care of us all! Thank you for making our day everything we wanted and more. Our day was absolutely amazing, and a lot of that was down to the incredible team at Milling Barn.
From the start, Rachel was so helpful in talking us through all the options and explaining everything clearly. She listened to our ideas and helped them to come to life.
On the day, everything was so smooth and we had guests commenting on how amazing Rachel and the team were. So many people commented on how beautiful the venue was, with one even saying it was one of the most beautiful places they had ever been! It was even better than I was imagining when planning it and made our day so special. Plus the food was amazing!
Gav and the team with So Discos, who we found through the in house DJ package, absolutely nailed the evening music and we loved dancing the night away with them. The website they sent before the day where we could add songs we did/did not want playing was so helpful and easy to use.
The dressing room and overnight rooms were also amazing and a very beneficial and a massive plus for us!
We could not recommend Milling Barn enough. -

Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Day at Milling Barn
We honestly couldn’t fault our wedding venue - everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish and completely stress-free, which is exactly what you want when planning a wedding.
Aimee was amazing in the lead-up to the big day. She was so organised, helpful, and reassuring, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We always felt in safe hands.
On the day itself, Rachel was an absolute superstar. She kept everything running smoothly, was endlessly helpful, and managed to keep me and the groomsmen in check - which deserves a medal in itself, as well as keep everything on schedule. Calm, friendly, and totally on it, she made the whole day feel effortless.
From start to finish, the team were just perfect. The food was also amazing! We couldn’t have asked for more and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an incredible, well-run, stress-free wedding day. -

We had an absolutely amazing time at Milling Barn. The day was absolutely flawless and we put that down to the exceptional professionalism of the staff. Everything was on time and we didnt have a single worry the whole day. Niamh was exceptional throughout the planning processes, very responsive to email and available for phone calls when we were unsure on planning decisions. -

Stunning venue, great service, with everything in one place
We had our wedding at Milling Barn and we wanted to say a massive thank you to the team for making our wedding day so special. The team on site were incredibly attentive, their communication was great and everything ran on time thanks to them. The staff even made sure that we (the bride and groom) got canapés and reception drinks despite having to run off for pictures.
The food tasted great, the service was really quick (even guests commented on how good this was). The evening pizzas were also really popular with guests. The team even responded positively to last minute changes in circumstances on the day (including adding a guest and changing dietary requirements for a guest).
The dressing room is also really spacious (enough space for 8 of us, plus two make up artists and a hair stylist) and Niamh kept checking in to see if we needed any help in the morning too which was fantastic. The venue itself is beautiful and is perfect for pictures. As everything is super closely located on site, it also helped the whole day run really smoothly. They can also perfectly cater for winter weddings and drizzle!
Thank you to Niamh, Grace and the Milling Barn team for helping the day run more smoothly than we could’ve imagined!

We had our wedding at Milling Barn at the start of October and it was the most perfect day.
The minute we viewed Milling Barn we knew it was the venue for us, with the lovely rooms full of beams and fairy lights and the grounds with views of the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. One of the things we loved about this venue was you could decorate it as much or a little as you wanted and it still looked pretty.
The dressing room was the perfect size for myself and my bridesmaid to get ready, we also ordered some Prosecco and orange juice for the morning, which was chilling as we arrived.
Niamh and Lauren have been brilliant through the whole process, communication was really clear and we knew exactly what needed to be paid and when, all pricing was transparent.
On the wedding day we did not need to worry about anything as Lauren had everything covered ensuring the day run smoothly and our friend who was our MC knew what he was doing and when so myself and my husband could just enjoy our special day.
For anyone looking for a wedding venue we can 100% recommend Milling Barn.

We had the most incredible day celebrating our wedding at Milling Barn. The venue itself is absolutely stunning – full of rustic charm with a warm, relaxed atmosphere that made everyone feel at home. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish, and that’s all down to Lauren and the rest of the amazing team.
The staff were exceptional – friendly, professional, and always one step ahead. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made sure the day flowed effortlessly so we could just enjoy every moment. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food, the setting, and the service.
We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate. Thank you to everyone at Milling Barn for making our day so special – we’ll cherish it forever!

Most magical day!
Lauren, Rosie and the WHOLE team at The Milling Barn could not have done more to make our day the most amazing, magical, wonderful experience that it was! Nothing was too much and they went above and beyond to make our dreams come true!
Right from the beginning they made us feel reassured that everything was in hand, on the day they were so attentive, we had everything we needed and more!
Our dog was also looked after, they bought her a water bowl!
The accommodation is comfortable and clean, the meal was amazing, I also love that they made sure we got drinks and canapés, we were doted on and made to feel very comfortable and special, thank you for all your hard work and for making sure we had a magical day!
