We recently had our 'Christmas Wedding' at Milling Barn. From the first viewing we were blown away, we knew immediately that we had found where we wanted to get married.
Our co-ordinator was Niamh, and we could not have asked for more. She went above and beyond to give us the most amazing day, from replying my barrage of emails to setting up and arranging a facetime with my grandad from his care home - all whilst checking in on me throughout the day. Absolutely fantastic! Not forgetting the rest of the staff, everyone was so polite and helpful and just made our day stress-free!
The dressing room is beautiful and SO big! Plenty of room for me and my 4 girls, hair dresser and 2 photographers (as well as the odd person coming for a sneak-peak) plenty of tea and coffee available in the room, though cold drinks are chargeable.
The Oak Barn is absolutely stunning. Photos just do not do it justice, you have to see it in person. I became so emotional the first time I viewed this, it truly is beautiful. We did worry that with it being December, we and our guests would be freezing, but not at all. There are discrete heaters on the walls which blend in and keep the room really snug. The fairy lights surrounding the beams give off the most incredible ambience and all adds to the romantic feel of the room.
The main barn is spectacular. Divided in to 2 sections (Dairy barn & Main barn) and need minimal decoration to look so beautiful. We chose the Relaxed Menu for our wedding breakfast, with it being a week before Christmas day, we went for Turkey! Nearly month on and we are still hearing from our guests about the food. It really was delicious! We had a very small party for the wedding breakfast so the relaxed menu was perfect for us, we were given 4 huge turkeys which we carved at the table by 3 guests of our choice, everyone LOVED this idea! Genius!
We were all ushered in to the Dairy barn whilst the main barn was set up for the evening entertainment and guests and the room was transformed. From start to finish, we had the best day thanks to Milling Barn, We're both so glad we got married here and if we had our day again, we wouldn't think twice, Milling Barn every time!

The most beautiful wedding venue! It’s what little girls dream of! We viewed a number of barns but Milling Barn stood out to us for a number of reasons; you get the whole venue to yourselves, all of the available extras, the friendly staff, the scenery and the value for money!
From the get go Gemma and the team had great communication and we were contacted constantly throughout the process. The day ran smoothly and there were no hiccups. Gemma was on hand all day to make sure we were happy and the team were super friendly and helpful. They really made us, our guests and our suppliers feel welcome. They even catered for our fully vegan wedding breakfast!
A picturesque venue with beautiful energy, romance and fun! Many of our guests stated it was the more idyllic wedding venue they’ve ever been too! -

We had the most wonderful wedding at Milling Barn, this September. I loved the location, not too far from transport links but still with a countryside feel. The different Barns for the ceremony, drinks and wedding breakfast/party meant that there was lots of room for our 140 guests. The staff were friendly and very professional, guiding us along the way and very organised. Our guests loved the evening pizza in particular! My bridesmaids & I loved getting ready in the dressing room. I'd definitely recommend the venue! -

We visited Milling Barn within two days of getting engaged and no thought of booking immediately, but our minds were changed as soon as we walked into the stunning quaint ceremony barn. Our main requirement was accessibility for our disabled guests, and other than the mezzanine it was all suitable for us. There was enough space in the other rooms for us not to need the mezzanine anyway! We found the grounds well looked after, beautiful barns, a well stocked bar and we could not have imagined the day any differently. We dealt with Gemma, Aimie and Chloe mostly and they were all wonderful. I was SO calm on the day because I knew Chloe was on hand to assist. We’d also recommend using the accomodation and having breakfast the next day, it was delicious and a lovely way to end the wedding experience at Milling Barn. -

Amazing Exclusive Venue
We got married at Milling Barn on the 24th June 2024. The whole experience from our first viewing to our wedding day was brilliant. Niamh and the team at Milling Barn are really well organised and have everything under control. Our day ran so smoothly and we were able to enjoy every moment of it. Milling Barn had everything we were looking for, we wanted an exclusive venue for the whole day and the bonus of accommodation. The variety of food choices made for difficult decisions, we decided on the relaxed menu which our guests loved and for the evening food, the freshly made pizza's are a must. There are so many beautiful places for the perfect photos and 0ur guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful the venue was.

Chloe and the rest of the team made our day go so smoothly. I was in love with the venue from when I first saw it. We had the most beautiful wedding day, with the most delicious food. We had so many guests comment on how amazing the pizza was in the evening!
