Midelney Manor was our wedding venue in July 2026 and was simply incredible. The grounds are beautiful, and provide brilliant flexibility with the option for a ceremony in the gardens, the woods or inside. Only having 10 weddings a year here made our wedding feel very personal and we were able to have everything exactly as we had hoped. The owner, Alice, is an amazing selling point to this venue in herself! She was incredibly helpful in providing contacts for literally everything that might be needed, was a huge help with planning in the build up, and made the day run so seamlessly that we did not have to think about anything on the day. All of our guests said how beautiful the whole venue was, and how amazing the day was at Midelney Manor - we could not recommend this venue enough! -

Where do I even start?! Midelney Manor is the most perfect wedding venue ever!! We cannot recommend it enough, we had an absolutely unbelievably beautiful wedding at Midelney thanks to the Wonderful owner Alice. Alice is the most kind, generous and supportive person; any problems we had that were wedding related we could ask her and she would become the font of all knowledge! Anytime I (the bride) was worrying or anxious she put my mind totally to rest. My husband and I, my parents, friends and family felt so at home at Midelney and loved every second of it! If you are getting married, Midelney Manor is most DEFINITELY the place for you! -

Midelney Manor was a wonderful location for our wedding. The secluded gardens and traditional buildings were beautiful on the day and kept in high quality. The highlight of experience however was Alice herself however, who supported us throughout the planning process and organised the logistics for the day between all our suppliers. She made this look effortless and allowed for the day to progress smoothly without so much as a hitch. We are thankful for the help she provided and the care she treated our wedding and guests. -

My gosh! How perfect was our wedding.
From start to finish Alice was very personable, helpful and just created the most perfect atmosphere in what was a very intimate wedding.
We were highly surprised on availability and flexibility from Alice.
The weather turned and though dissapointed we couldn't marry in the garden it actually worked out for the better as the potting shed was so beautiful! And it left the gardens for some incredible photos.
Our little 7 month old thoroughly enjoyed the colours , environment and hooning about in his walker. It was a very safe space for him to have the very best day with us.
I would do that day over and again in a heartbeat. We can't share our thanks enough. Not only is Midelney a special day but it's part of the family and we are looking forward to return for some of their events.

The best day of our lives
My husband and I were recently married at beautiful Midelney Manor. We can’t express enough how grateful and lucky we are to have stumbled upon such a brilliant venue and wonderful host, Alice.
The grounds themselves are rustic and enchanting, and all our guests were blown away by the beauty of the house and gardens. We used the potting shed for the ceremony and had a marquee in the walled gardens for dining and dancing, although there were many different configurations and spaces we could have used to match different personalities, number of guests and themes.
Beyond the wonderful venue itself, the host Alice was incredible. From the first viewing until after the big day, Alice was always genuinely willing to offer advice and help.
When planning, she was interested to hear our thoughts and ideas, offer advice and shared a very detailed list of brilliant suppliers and caterers that she’d had a great experience with before.
Alice was always willing to speak to our suppliers and on the day was accessible to make changes to suit us and make sure that our day was as stress-free as possible. She even ran the bar in the evening offering a brilliant range of cocktails.
For us, this combination immediately made Midelney incomparable to other venues and we couldn’t imagine our special day anywhere else. It was honestly the best day of our lives celebrating with our loved ones and Alice made the day run perfectly by being calm, helpful and fun all at the same time! These memories are priceless, something my husband and I will cherish forever.

From the moment we walked through to the gardens at Midelney, we knew it was the venue for us. The walled rose garden, the potting shed, the forest behind, it has such beauty and variety. And the fact that we could make it our own with our decisions and decor was even more special.
Alice was so warm and welcoming from the word go and helped us with so many details, from choosing fabulous suppliers that suited our style and budget perfectly, to helping us organise our booze (vital!) to assisting with last minute asks on the day.
She was calm and so helpful throughout the day and I know so much work went on behind the scenes with the various suppliers to make it the magical day that it was.
Midelney West is also absolutely perfect for the bridal party - beautifully decorated and really well kitted out accommodation, and the fact that you can stay the night before made it even more wonderful.
Everyone at our wedding adored the venue and commented on how stunning and unique it was. It was the wedding of our dreams and we couldn’t be happier.

Beautiful venue, Alice is amazing. Literally got us in to shape and made the whole event flow. Our guests were amazed. Alice got to know us and we felt we could have the day we wanted as she was so flexible. Communication and patience were perfect.Midelney Manor's reply:

We had a wonderful experience at Midelney Manor for our wedding. The venue is beautiful, with stunning surroundings and a really lovely atmosphere that made it the perfect setting for our special day.
Alice, who runs the weddings at Midelney Manor, was fantastic to work with. She was so helpful and attentive from the start, making sure everything went smoothly and that we felt completely at ease. Her care and attention to detail really showed throughout the process, and on the day itself, everything ran effortlessly.
We’re so glad we chose Midelney Manor for our wedding. It’s a beautiful venue, and Alice made it all come together perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our day. -
