Absolute perfection

Even before we got engaged we had said we wanted to get married at a wedding venue that had a barn! We loved the rustic vibe!
We also really wanted somewhere with picturesque gardens as we both love beautiful flowers!

We looked at one other venue afterward that we had already booked a visit to before visiting Micklefield, and it just didn’t even compare!

We couldn’t believe we found a barn venue that ALSO has the most stunning gardens!

Unique and picturesque venue

Micklefield Hall was the first venue we saw, and we instantly fell in love. Its uniqueness, charm, and rich history completely captured us – we just knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our day.

From the very beginning, the team at Micklefield were absolutely fantastic. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to every detail made the whole planning process feel seamless. We always felt supported, reassured, and genuinely excited.

A special thank you to Lauren, who was outstanding. On the day itself, she kept us calm, made sure everything ran like clockwork, and handled every detail with such care. We were able to truly relax and enjoy every moment, knowing she had everything under control.

The venue itself is breathtaking, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the grounds were – from the gardens to the water features, everything was picture-perfect. It made for such a stunning backdrop and gave everyone a chance to enjoy the surroundings throughout the day.

Micklefield Hall is more than just a beautiful venue – it’s run by a genuinely wonderful team who care deeply about making your day unforgettable. We’re so grateful to them all for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime.

Wedding 29/03/25

While searching for a venue, we must have visited between 8 and 10 places, yet none ticked all the boxes. We desired something unique, intimate, and beautiful. The venue is stunning, both inside and out. It is well-equipped to cater for all types of weddings in any weather. The venue set the tone for the day; we loved it, and our family and friends adored it as well. Furthermore, Izzy and Megan were exceedingly attentive. On the day, Izzy ensured everything ran like clockwork, and no request was too much. Thank you, Micklefield Hall and Team.

Best venue for March wedding

We were very lucky with this venue. While big venues sometimes come with a lot of restrictions and you can be treated like a number, this is no it! We felt like part of the family, Izzy and Tom we’re absolutely amazing and always accommodating with our ideas. We were able to add a regional flag to represent half the wedding attendance and they helped us have private vows very well organised. Even Anna showed up to help in the day and treated me like if this was someone in her family getting married. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to use the beautiful gardens but they reassured us we could make the decision up till the same day when we asked for all to be set outside. I had no worries on the day and the next day I had everything left already packed for me to just put in my car. I can’t recommend enough this venue but the team makes it even greater. Thank you again to the whole team and family behind this, we had the most amazing experience!
Our only “con” is that prizes are not including VAT; it can be a bit of a surprise if you don’t check it but a lot of providers do it this way and that they have set caterers so choices are limited

Thank you for making our Dream a Reality ❤️

Micklefield Hall was the first and only venue we looked at. We fell in love with the place as soon as we drove to the venue and stepped into the Great Barn. The outdoor ceremony setting was like something out of a movie.

The most beautiful venue, the most amazing staff, if you want the dream wedding, look no further than Micklefield Hall. Thank you for making our dream day a reality. A day we will remember for the rest of our lives ❤️
