We got married on 25th July 2026, and from beginning to end, our wedding day was absolutely fantastic.
The support we received didn’t just start on the wedding day itself — it began from the very start of our planning and continued right through to the day after our wedding. Every little detail was taken care of, and the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it.
Their service was truly first class. They made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process, which meant so much to me during what can otherwise be such a stressful time. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they were always there to help, advise and make sure we were involved in every decision.
They helped us with everything from the flowers and decorations to the finer details of the day, and everything came together so seamlessly. One of the highlights was a surprise singing waiter for myself and my husband, which the team helped us organise and incorporated perfectly into the dinner service. It was such a special and memorable moment, and the whole thing was executed brilliantly without giving anything away!
A special mention has to go to Admiral, who was absolutely amazing. His professionalism, kindness and attention to detail made such a difference to our experience. He went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly and that we were looked after every step of the way.
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be and more, and so much of that was down to the incredible team and the care they put into making our day so special.
Thank you so much to everyone involved. We will genuinely never forget how well we were looked after, and we would recommend you in a heartbeat! -

We’ve been meaning to write this review for a while as we celebrated our special wedding day at the Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our Wedding!
From the very beginning, the team were incredible. They supported us through the entire planning process and helped us organise every detail. The staff were so accommodating and flexible in helping us bring everything together perfectly for us and our guests.
The venue itself was ideal because it offered so many different spaces. We had the beautiful courtyard, a green outdoor area for our civil ceremony, and lovely indoor spaces for dining and the evening celebrations. Having these different areas made the day flow perfectly.
The team worked brilliantly with all of our suppliers and kept everything running smoothly and on schedule throughout the day. They kept us organised and made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything, which meant we could just enjoy every moment.
Another huge benefit was that many of our guests were able to stay at the hotel, which meant everything was in one place and made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
The staff truly couldn’t do enough for us. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made our wedding day feel really special. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
We’re so grateful to the whole team at Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel for helping us create such an unforgettable day. We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding! -

The whole experience from Start to finish was amazing, everyone was understanding and listened, we where able to tailor the day to exactly how we wanted, no request was too big or too small. On the day it ran so smoothly. All the staff where welcoming and friendly and the food was amazing we got so many comments on the food and all the staff. Thank you so much for a wonderful day. -

Steve and Helen Wedding 24th August 2024
We wanted an intimate wedding and the venue is lovely - its always clean, welcoming and has lovely areas, the separate bar area, the eating area and the outside space. Due to weather our wedding was indoors but it was laid out beautifully and I loved every moment, please visit this venue - we have had amazing feedback from our guests - food amazing, staff amazing. Lots of packages to choose from and the packages can be flexible. We used some of the hotels recommendations for some of the accessories, and DJ and Photobooth who were all professional and added a few extras to our wedding. We booked the head over heels package and Admiral was really helpful in discussing upgrades and changes, flexible to those with dietary needs.
We were really grateful to have access to the room the night before to set up.
All the staff were Really warm, lovely and supportive on the day. Food was lovely and we had a great day!!

Amazing Day!
Had my wedding at Mercure Thame in July and it was the perfect day.
Me and my wife had a church ceremony in Chinnor, All of our guest were greeted with a beautiful drink reception in the gardens. The staff were fantastic and the food was amazing!
Cannot fault anything! -

Thank you to everyone at the hotel that made our wedding day so special! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. All our guests kept completing the staff and hotel! The food was amazing! Our wedding co-ordinator was so helpful and made the day extra special. Would definitely recommend. -

Our wedding co-ordinator (Megan) is a credit to the hotel as she works so hard to make sure everything is perfect for your special day. They were really accommodating to anything we requested and nothing was to much trouble.
The hotel is lovely and well kept. The layout is great for events as the bar, dance floor, toilets and outside space are all together.
The whole day had a relaxed atmosphere and all the staff were so friendly. We had 94 to the day and an extra 60 or so to the evening which were perfect numbers. We paid the DJ extra to stay until 1am and because our guests had booked all 59 rooms we didn’t have to worry about keeping the noise down after 12. Also very handy having a 24 hour bar so we all continued the party once the DJ stopped. You can connect your phone to the sound system too to continue background music.
We used Deans Events to decorate and supply chair covers and sashes etc who were absolutely lovely and efficient! They also went above and beyond with the bonus of offering competitive prices. We also used the recommended DJ included in the package who suggested we send over a list of songs which worked perfectly. The dance floor was full all night.
Megan was really flexible with the package and adapted it to our needs. We were really happy with the final costs and got a lot for our money. The food at dinner and evening buffet were delicious and reception drinks were plentiful.
I can’t recommend this venue highly enough!! -
