We are beyond grateful for the wedding of our dreams coming to life at Lympne Castle. We fell in love with this venue on our first visit and cancelled all our other venues as we could simply not have had our wedding anywhere else. Joy, our wedding planner at the castle, brought every detail to life with such care and attention to detail. The food was incredible with big portions that are often not found at weddings, including the fantastic Focaccia bread that everyone devoured instantly. Every guest said they have never seen such a beautiful wedding venue and we will certainly be visiting again soon. Thank you to all the team and staff who worked at our wedding! Lily & Ethan. -

Mr Robert Sent on 23/10/2026Fabulous "don't tell the bride" day!
From the moment my new Bride was driven through the gates and saw Lympne Castle for the first time on her “Don’t Tell The Bride” journey it’s been one amazing surprise after another!
She was to get ready at the Castle and was treated to the spacious and stunning Queens Room to organise herself with her "Principle Ladies" and the rest of her entourage. Breakfast treats including specially requested Apricot Bellini's were fresh and satisfying.
All our guests told us how wonderful the day was, from the ceremony and guitarist playing “Can’t Help Falling in Love…” thru to the amazing Highland Piper who welcomed guests with traditional Scottish music as they arrived and then walking us into the Wedding Breakfast playing the less traditional “Star Wars” theme tune! Then the singing waiter and his great set finishing with “New York, New York…”. The food was excellent and I was glad I had previously been treated to a full tasting session as part of the Wedding preparations to help in selecting the menu. This, combined with the stunning views from the Castle and high quality staff looking after us made it a beautiful day.
Although I knew about everything beforehand, actually experiencing it myself on the day was, as I say, fabulous. We had 5 young children amongst the guests and its always a worry beforehand that they become bored and tired, no worry there though! They loved being in a real castle and I am glad I provided a dozen full-sized celebrity cardboard cut-outs to decorate the Great Hall for the evening disco - the kids had great fun with them – especially “Mr Bean” who ended going home with my one of my new step grandchildren!
We then had our show dance (the only element of the day my new Bride was aware off!) in front of the “Strictly Judges” cardboard cut-outs - which was a great success…
We also rented 3 of the cottages on-site for the guests with families - this ws perfect as they could get the kids ready before the ceremony and they proved not only comfortable, stylish but excellent value for money as they were fully occupied and the guests staying in them could stay overnight making them so convenient.
Then finally staying in the Billiards Bed Room in the Castle was a wonderful end to a superb day…
Organization at the Castle made my arrangements easy, with ease of communication and flexibility with their normal operations to cater for my specific requirements.
Given the quality of the staff, the food, the amazing location and unique ambiance of the castle I believe it offers true value for money!
For the new Mrs Gordon though, this was just the start of the surprises – she had no idea what I had organised for our Honeymoon...!

We had our wedding at Lympne Castle in June and to say it was an amazing day would be an understatement! We viewed a few venues and couldn’t get past loving the Castle. The whole planning process was great, Castle were quick to respond and tried to work with us on all our requests.
On the wedding day, the staff could not have been more helpful, we did some stuff DIY and the Castle team helped us out with the whole setup on the morning and the place looked amazing and had everything exactly as we wanted it.
All our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, the views are amazing and the gardens were so well maintained, we were also so lucky with the weather. Every single person from housekeeping, reception, Estates team and serving staff were just so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Canapes, wedding breakfast and hog roast were all beautiful and people commented on how good it was and also how generous the portion sizes were.
We had some family stay in the cottages and these were so lovely plus the softest towels 😊 Icing on the cake was for us as a couple to get to stay in the Queens room that night, the room is amazing and was such a perfect way to end a wonderful day.
We just had the most relaxing and perfect day and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Special mention to our coordinator Emma and to Mike for being so helpful and facilitating us having the most unforgettable day. We cannot wait to come back to visit and relive it again. We definitely recommend the Castle as a wedding venue

We got married on 12.12.2025 at the castle and it was the best day of our lives.
From the very start Joy helped us and was on board with our vision and nothing was too much or too different she absolutely made it happen with the team and the day was so very magical and special.
Everything ran smoothly and we couldn’t fault a thing it was just perfect!
The food was exquisite and views were amazing and the accommodation was perfect. Joy was just amazing and I would highly recommend booking your wedding at the castle. Also I would recommend a Christmas wedding the magic is just there and there are already so many decorations that the venue have already got. Was just beautiful and 3 weeks later everyone is still talking about magical the day was!Lympne Castle's reply:

Lympne Castle - Amazing
I cannot put into words how amazing our day was, not only because of the venue itself but because of the staff and the wedding co-ordinates that helped us throughout the process and on the big day. Everything ran smoothly and nothing was ever to much to ask. The food was unbelievably good and the venue was beautiful inside and out. Faultless from start to finish!
Our wedding day was absolutely faultless from start to finish! The wedding team were so helpful and knowledgable throughout the planning process and our coordinator Dan looked after us for our wedding day - thank you Dan!
Lympne Castle is such a beautiful venue, and we can't wait to visit again once the castle bedrooms are ready!
