We had our wedding last month at Lakeview Marquee, and it truly was everything we imagined and more. The décor and the venue were absolutely perfect, creating the most beautiful setting for our special day.
We booked through Hitched and were able to secure our date quickly by paying the deposit within a week. The Lakeview Marquee team were incredibly supportive throughout the process especially when we felt unsure about suppliers and other details. Their guidance and professionalism gave us peace of mind and made the planning so much easier.
On the day itself, everything came together flawlessly, and it felt like a dream come true. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. -

I had read a review before viewing on a different website saying they booked a viewing and no one was there at the set date and time, and were lucky to get in because someone else happened to be inside cleaning. Welp, the same happened to me. Booked the viewing, me and my planner went there, no one was in and the doors were locked. Someone who works there happened to come to the venue on their day off (this is what he said) and saw us outside, let us in, and showed us around a bit.
They also said that they will be renovating things so it won't look like the current pictures (e.g. no lights falling from the ceiling), and, that we weren't allowed to photograph or video the venue as 'other venues around will try and copy them' (huh?). In addition, the marquee itself was very dirty, I didn't want to touch anything, and the bridal room was very small and again, dirty. Not to mention, the smell as soon as we entered the marquee was overpowering! The toilets were small and again dirty (although he said they would soon be getting new toilet vans) and overall I was very disappointed, especially as me and my parter had really liked the venue from the images. OH and one more thing, the price is WAY higher than all the websites state. We were told the starting price is from 10k! That was the final cherry on the 'no' cake for me.
Apart from the above, the employee who let us in was very nice, and quite informative; nothing against him personally. But I can't say that I was impressed by Lakeview Marquee overall, by the fact no one was waiting for us at the booked day and time, and the venue itself wasn't very clean or impressive. -

We had our wedding at Lakeview Marquee, and it was absolutely perfect. The setting by the lake was gorgeous, the marquee looked stunning, and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. Everything ran smoothly, and our guests were full of compliments.
A truly beautiful venue we couldn’t have asked for better. Highly recommended. -
