Susie and Rory are the most wonderful people to have on hand when planning a wedding, which can be at times, stressful! They’re always there when you have questions to ask and they’re super laid back.
The venue itself is just stunning. We got married in May 2024 which meant the peony garden was at its best. We had the most dreamy pictures taken in the walled garden and we got very lucky with the weather!
We loved the fact that it’s a dry hire so you can really put your own stamp on your day. The carriage room is so light and airy and the venue has lots of interesting nooks that you can really get creative with. The courtyard was so pretty with the lights we hired and it was amazing for our drinks reception.
All in all we would highly recommend Kingsettle Stud. Thanks Susie and Rory!Kingsettle Stud's reply:

As an independent coordinator who’s had the pleasure of assisting couples with their special day there, it’s always such a privilege. Kingsettle offers the most wonderful space to create and design your day exactly as you wish.
Owners Susie and Rory are incredibly kind and helpful, they’ve created the most stunning setting for couples to celebrate in, and it truly shines through in every wedding. Photos don’t do it justice, it’s even more magical in person!! -

Susie and Rory have provided a beautiful blank canvas which can be crafted to your perfect day. The charming array of ancient stables, barns and walled garden have been immaculately looked after and any combination of which can be used. We used then for a spacious dining room opening on to the court yard, a dance floor also opening to the court yard, bar & snug area. Leaving plenty of space for necessities such as catering rooms. Susie and Rory are happy for you to decorated these as you wish - notwithstanding their advice and experience of what has worked very well before.
There's no shortage of accommodation ranging from the adjoining farmhouse to the cabins (with log heated hot tubs!) to acres of tent pitching. If guests don't feel like pitching their own, call in a yurt hire company!
Susie and Rory have been superb at helping us plan the day all the way through to fruition. They can recommend suppliers and caterers, and help fully customise your perfect day. Having been to 7 weddings this year, our guests said this one blew it out of the water! And it did!

The most beautiful venue ❤️
We got married on a beautiful summers day at Kingsettle Stud-the most beautiful venue.
Everything was perfect. From the first day we met Susie who showed us around and answered all our questions, to all the prep, and the actual day. Everything was easy and totally stress free. Susie was just a msg away if we had any questions, requests or needed support.
The Venue is peaceful, rural, charming but classy and our guests were blown away.
We got married in the garden surrounded by flowers. We would highly recommend Kingsettle Stud as a wedding venue. We had a wonderful day and it could’ve not been any better. We loved that we had so much freedom to create the perfect wedding for us. We love thinking and talking about our wedding day. And so does our family.Kingsettle Stud's reply:

Susie and Rory have the most amazing venue at Kingsettle, attached to their beautiful home which you can rent as part of the day. We used their walled garden for our drinks reception, followed by food and dancing in the barn, and stable area. The rustic yet chic venue can be styled as you like and it holds so much charm. We also used the shepherds huts and their self catering accommodation - and a morning after wood fired hot tub was amazing! It was the best day and we will be forever grateful that we were able to be part of this wonderful place's history.Kingsettle Stud's reply:

The Perfect Venue
Kingsettle Stud was the most amazing venue for our wedding. From start to finish, Susie was helpful, flexible and supportive of our planning. Nothing was too much trouble and her advice and support was incredible when we were setting up the day before. Susie also offered help and advice on trusted contacts and suppliers which was invaluable.
The venue itself is stunning. We were able to have our ceremony in the meadow, but the Carriage House was on standby in case of bad weather. The stables were the perfect place for our night time reception. We loved that the venue itself is a blank canvas that we could use to decorate in our own style.
The shepherd’s hut we stayed in was comfortable, very well designed and the welcome basket was beyond generous.
In short, we couldn’t recommend Kingsettle Stud more.Kingsettle Stud's reply:
All the feels reading this review! Kitty & Rebecca had a vision for how they wanted their day, and absolutely NAILED it! The wedding embodied everything that makes our venue so unique. Pumpkins, skulls and broomsticks made for an ethereal and seasonal decor which shouldn't have worked but absolutely did. One of the warmest, happiest, witchiest days I think we've had! xxx -

A beautiful and unique venue
A beautiful and unique venue with multiple different places you can have your ceremony. We had ours down a peony filled aisle which felt like a dream. The flow of the venue is fantastic as well meaning you get lots of variety for the day. It’s a very special place and Susy and Rory are so helpful and lovely too!Kingsettle Stud's reply:

Bets wedding ever
Susie and Rory are super helpful hosts and so flexible and easy going. The world is your oyster with this venue, with nothing off limits (within reason). And you get the whole place to yourself for the whole weekend.
