Kelham House was the very first venue on our list and honestly, the only one we truly needed.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the House Manager, Claire. She is a lovely lady who immediately made us feel at home with a glass of Prosecco before leading us on a tour of the stunning house and grounds. The setup, both inside and out, was breathtaking. We knew instantly: this is it, we are getting married here. Sitting down to go through the details was a breeze; the process was easy and entirely stress-free.
Then we met Natalie, our wedding coordinator and decor specialist. Let me tell you, these ladies are incredible! Natalie’s vision for the decor was stunning; we wanted everything exactly as we saw it, and she delivered perfectly.
Fast forward to the big day, we arrived around 11:00 AM and were completely overwhelmed by how amazing everything looked. From the gorgeous guest rooms to the perfection of the outdoor setup, it was a dream. The wedding breakfast room and tables were simply stunning, and our cake by Southwell Cakery was a masterpiece.
The entire day was the best of my life. The canapés and wedding breakfast were delicious, and from start to finish, the service was brilliant. We finished our stay the next morning with breakfast served by Kai, who was so attentive and kind to everyone.

From the first meeting to our wedding day the staff at Kelham couldn’t have been more helpful. No matter what the question or query they always did their best to answer or sort. Our wedding was on a hot May bank holiday and even in very hot weather the staff couldn’t be more helpful and looked after us and all our guests. The food was phenomenal and the venue is absolutely stunning. Natalie was out on the day coordinator and went above and beyond for us as did the bar manager in the evening!
We would recommend Kelham to anyone, you won’t regret it. -

05-04-2026 was the day of our beautiful wedding. Claire is wonderful, her help leading up to the wedding was perfect. On the day, we got so much support, we didn't need to worry about anything, except just getting married. The whole experience has been amazing from start to finish, and I would highly recommend Kelham to anyone looking for a venue.Kelham House Country Manor Hotel's reply:

We just wanted to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone at Kelham House. We first visited in July last year and instantly fell in love. Claire made us feel so welcome during our initial tour, and from that moment, we knew it was the perfect venue—especially the beautiful outdoor areas.
Our wedding coordinator, Olivia, was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She truly understood our vision and brought our dream day to life. From the smallest details to ensuring everything ran smoothly, she allowed us to relax and fully enjoy every moment of our wedding.
A big thank you as well to Head Chef Jitka and the entire kitchen team. The food was incredible—so many of our guests commented on both the quality and generous portions. The wedding breakfast service was flawless and perfectly organised.
We’d also like to mention Connor, the night porter, who kindly gathered and secured all of our belongings and decorations overnight, making everything so easy for us the following morning.
Every single member of the team at Kelham House has been amazing. You truly made our day unforgettable, and this place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

The best venue ever
I can’t put into words how special the day was this place is fabulous and the staff were amazing. Lauren is the best of the best.

Due to the professional organisation from day one after we booked our special day everything on the day went without a single hitch. Natalie's help with the planning from the menus, help and advice with regards to the Ceremony, wedding breakfast and the evening reception. All the guests made complimentary comments with regards to the wedding breakfast and the evening food, which was excellent.
