Wedding Celebrations

Our wedding was held at the hotel on 21 February 2026 and had been booked for a number of months before. We had a thoroughly great experience using the hotel for a number of reasons. From our first meeting with Sophia, we had a great feeling about the hotel. The venue size was perfect for what we were looking for and for the number of guests we had made it feel like the hotel was exclusively ours.

The arrangements were all managed impeccably and Sophia and her team had numerous patience with all my many questions. The whole pre event ran very smoothly.

On the day, the team could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Any stresses that I may have had as a bride were taken straight away from me.

The feedback I have had from all my guests (and includes my comments) was that the food was amazing, large portions, served quickly and seamlessly, and was hot!! All dietary requirements were dealt with and the food ordering could not have been any easier (and not something for me to have to worry or be involved with).

The Lombard room that we had the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening party was turned around each time very quickly and it was the perfect size for our wedding.

I can't recommend the hotel and its staff any higher than I have.

Amazing!

Sophia and the team gave us the most amazing day!!! The whole team couldn't do enough for us and made the day really magical. The venue is beautiful and the whole set up from the ceremony to evening party was great. The food is lovely and we got so many compliments from our guests.

Perfect venue for our registry office wedding breakfast!

We had a small registry office ceremony followed by a wedding breakfast at Hotel Du Vin. It was perfect! We were so well taken care of and we couldn't have asked for a better team. The food was incredible and was only let down slightly by the puddings but this wasn't an issue as we had brought a wedding cake with us.

The staff were so helpful, both on the run up to the wedding and during the meal. The room was clean and private, complete with Bluetooth. Thankfully we even had private parking allocated!

I couldn't recommend them enough and would definitely host again here!

Beautiful venue, amazing event staff

Sophia and the wider team were fantastic from the beginning.
We wanted to have Caribbean food in the evening provided by an external caterer. All other hotels in Tunbridge Wells turned the request down flat but Sophia listened and after discussions agreed to our request.

She worked like a trojan on the day. Was very unflappable and this made me relax, knowing everything was under control.

The food was delicious and plentiful, the Lombard Room was so pretty and just the right size for us. All the hotel staff were cheerful, kind, polite and helpful.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend holding your celebration here.

Ran like clockwork

We got married at Hotel Du Vin this October and I honestly can’t thank them enough!!!!

It all ran like clockwork with nothing to large or small for them. They accommodated everything we wanted.

The bridal suite was stunning and the other rooms included the wedding price were very good quality.

The main was lamb and all came out perfect with our guests still talking about it.

I just wanted to say thank you to Karolina and Tanya who helped organise the event, David and Andrew who managed the day and to James the chef.

I would recommend to anyone.......

The Service was Perfect

We had a small wedding reception at the hotel with just 21 guests and booked the Havana dining room. We had full use of the beautiful gardens at the back of the hotel for champagne and canapes which were delicious. We then had a five course meal from the Prestige Menu which was amazing- all of the courses were really high quality and the meal felt very special. The service was perfect. We also stayed in one of the principal rooms overlooking the garden and found the room to be beautiful with a great shower. We also enjoyed the breakfast - lots of choice and well cooked. We would thoroughly recommend the hotel as a great venue for a wedding reception.

The most magical day

We searched Kent to find a venue that had everything we were looking for... fabulous food, beautiful gardens, easily accessible and in a town so our guests had the opportunity to make weekend of it. We finally found the fantastic Hotel Du Vin in T Wells.
From the first moment we entered the reception area we knew we had found what we were looking for. The relaxed atmosphere but impeccable service and friendly staff was perfect. Just formal enough for our big day to feel special.

Karolina, James and Andrew were all fantastic. From helping us choose food and wine options to adding personal touches that we requested. Nothing was too much trouble. The day was perfect! Our guests loved their food, we had so many positive comments. The gardens were perfectly tidy and the lavender was in bloom.
We had the most magical day which exceeded our expectations. We can’t express how much we loved every second of our big day!

Was good until they threw away our cake

This venue is stunning and the staff were quite helpful on the day. Leading up to the day it was difficult to email responses until the manager stepped in and then emails were responded to a lot faster. Unfortunately, on the day of our wedding no one asked us about the cake and we were around the entire the night and our cake was thrown away as well as our cake topper (which we had made). To make matters worse, our fairy lights and batteries that we purchased were not returned to us either. A sad end to a nice day.

Massive Thank You, Flawless Wedding!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and the whole team at Hotel Du Vin who made our wedding day so flawless and easy.
From the moment I checked in, we were looked after so well and everything was done for us with nothing being too much trouble.
The efficiency on the day and how you turned the venue around was incredible. We had so many compliments on the food and everyone just generally said it was an amazing day.
Even on the morning after your team were on hand for a variety of breakfast requests and they even helped us pack the car!
We can't thank you all enough for how special you made the day and how special you made us feel.

We just wanted say thank you so much for making our day so special. It really was the best day of our lives and the Hotel made everything run so smoothly. People said the service and hospitality was excellent. The food was delicious too. The marquee looked great. Thank you for the presents in our room and your card that was a lovely surprise. I hope that you enjoyed running the event and see it as a great success - I hear there were a few stragglers at the end so I hope they weren't too much trouble! We will send you a proper thank you when we get back from honeymoon and some pictures.

All the best and thank you for being such lovely people, we are in Asturias now!
