Hazel Gap Wedding Venue Review
We got married at Hazel Gap in April 2026, and it was truly the best day of my life. I still struggle to put into words just how perfect everything was from start to finish.
The Venue
Hazel Gap itself is absolutely stunning. Every space is beautifully designed and immaculately presented, creating an atmosphere that feels luxurious and warm. From the moment we arrived, it felt incredibly special and set the tone for the entire day.
The Food
The food exceeded every expectation we had. We chose the feast menu and attended a feast night beforehand with our best men and women I cannot recommend this enough. The food genuinely rivals (and even beats) many five star restaurants. Having everything cooked in view of the bar adds such a unique and exciting touch.
The sheer amount of food amazed our guests, and sitting at the top table watching people’s reactions as the dishes arrived (and then seeing their faces when they tasted it) was such a joy. It was flawless. Our wedding party and I will absolutely be booking more feast nights in the future simply because the food is that good.
The Team
I honestly cannot thank the Hazel Gap team enough. They are true experts at what they do, and this was evident throughout booking, planning, and on the day itself. Their communication, flexibility, professionalism, and genuine care were all 10/10 absolute perfection.
I work just 10 minutes away from the venue, so I visited around 20 times in total, and every single visit I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome.
On the day, we were treated like VIPs and guided effortlessly through everything. The little touches were amazing even down to printing my speech and placing it neatly at my place setting. After 18 months of planning, I was overwhelmed by how easy and stress free the day felt.
A special shout out has to go to Channon, who kept everything running perfectly. From welcoming us, organising buttonholes, guiding the wedding party down the aisle, and keeping the schedule on track everything was handled seamlessly. At one point a guest arrived with an unplanned plus one, and before I’d even finished my drink, it had already been sorted without any stress coming back to us. That sums up the team perfectly: solving problems before you even know they exist.
I can’t believe I felt nervous beforehand, because the day itself was utterly flawless. Hazel Gap gave us a wedding day beyond anything we could have imagined, and we will be forever grateful.
If you’re considering Hazel Gap book it. You won’t regret a single second.

The venue was really accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, even when we had a supplier cancel. The wedding cake supplier cancelled last minute. We were given a space in their new fridge. All of our guests commented how lovely the place was and how beautiful the food was. All questions were answered and the communication was easy using the online system.
I would highly recommend this venue, the setting in beautiful grounds/ woodlands gives everything a barn wedding should be.

Best decision ever!
We recently got married at Hazel Gap Barn and wow, what an incredible day it was! From the moment we first visited and booked, the team at Hazel Gap have been absolutely amazing. They answered every query we had so quickly and always went above and beyond to try and make anything we asked for possible. They made the whole planning process feel so easy and stress free.
The staff on the wedding day were fantastic, from the setup right through to the evening. Both we and our guests were so impressed with how smoothly everything ran, and the food was absolutely incredible, it will be talked about for many, many years!
We honestly can’t thank everyone at Hazel Gap enough for helping us have the most amazing wedding day, one that we will never forget. We just wish we could do it all over again!

I just want to thank Hazel gap and their team for making our wedding so special! We had Rosie as our day manager and Beth as our night manager and they were brilliant. They couldn’t do enough to make our day special! We had some very picky eaters and Hazel Gap accommodated to our requirements, and the food! Our guests still talk about it and wish they could take it with them! I will always recommend Hazel Gap to anyone who wants the most beautiful venue and want to be treated like royalty on your wedding day! A perfect wedding venue - we couldn’t recommend it enough 🤍
We fell in love with this venue from our very first visit. It perfectly balances rustic charm with an elegant, timeless feel, making it such a special place to celebrate our wedding.
From the beginning, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and transparent—especially when it came to pricing, which we really appreciated. Throughout the entire planning process, communication was excellent: they were always clear, detailed, and quick to respond to any questions we had. We were also able to visit the venue multiple times, which made a huge difference in helping us plan and visualise how everything would come together.
It was so useful that we were able to bring our décor the day before, as there was no wedding booked. This made the setup so much less stressful. On the day itself, everything ran smoothly, and the team set everything up exactly how we had imagined—if not even better.
The service was impeccable. Staff were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely pleasant throughout the day—nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The food was another highlight: every course, from starters to mains to desserts, was cooked to perfection. The chefs are clearly very talented.
The venue itself is a real gem, and it’s obvious how much pride the team takes in maintaining it. The care didn’t stop after the wedding either. Everything was carefully packed for us to collect the next day, which we really appreciated.
A special thank you to Georgia, Rosie, and Channon for coordinating both our day and evening so seamlessly. It’s clear they truly enjoy what they do, and that made all the difference.
We would highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone!

The best day of our lives 🤍
We honestly can’t thank Beth, Rosie and the rest of the team at Hazel gap for the best day of our lives. We met Beth at our original meeting and we loved that she managed our wedding in the day. The team were all great in the lead up and the communication was always brilliant. From arriving at the venue on the day we were made to feel an ease, Beth was brilliant in the day and we didn’t have to think about a thing, she had everything covered. We met Rosie in the evening and she was just as fabulous, she made sure everything went to plan and made sure had everything we needed. We couldn’t recommend Hazel gap enough, the most beautiful place, amazing food and brilliant staff. Lots of guests told us it was the most beautiful place and the best wedding they had been to. Amazing venue!
I recently got married at this venue and it did not disappoint!! We were blown away by the whole place - the decor, the price and the amazing staff. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and said it was one of the best weddings they’d been to. All the staff made us feel so comfortable and made the whole day seamless. From the very beginning, the staff were incredible—highly knowledgeable, attentive, and they made sure every detail was handled with care.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the selection of wines and drinks was truly second to none. We’re already looking forward to returning for a feast night! What’s especially wonderful is how well-maintained the venue is; the decor is so naturally stunning that it speaks for itself. We hardly had to add a thing.
