Perfect in every way.

From the initial visit to Hazel Gap Barn, we were blown away by the warm welcome from the staff and their incredible attention to detail. The building itself is stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows, beautiful oak features, and filled with natural light and greenery throughout. The grounds outside are also beautifully looked after and great for photos. They listened to our budget and adapted everything based on that, full transparency at all times.

On the day itself, everything was perfect. The staff were absolutely amazing friendly, professional, and always one step ahead, making sure everything ran smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The drinks flowed seamlessly and were spot on, and the food was incredible - so many of our guests commented on how good it was. Everything felt so well organised and effortless.

It truly was the perfect day, and that’s a huge credit to the team. We honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.

Amazing venue!

I recently got married at this venue and it did not disappoint!! We were blown away by the whole place - the decor, the price and the amazing staff. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and said it was one of the best weddings they’d been to. All the staff made us feel so comfortable and made the whole day seamless. We can’t recommend this venue enough!!

We are beyond thrilled that we chose Hazel Gap for our wedding.

From the very beginning, the staff were incredible—highly knowledgeable, attentive, and they made sure every detail was handled with care.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the selection of wines and drinks was truly second to none. We’re already looking forward to returning for a feast night! What’s especially wonderful is how well-maintained the venue is; the decor is so naturally stunning that it speaks for itself. We hardly had to add a thing. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for our day.

Amazing venue

Hazel Gap was the most perfect venue for our wedding. All our guests commented on how beautiful it was and everything went so seamlessly throughout the day.

The food was absolutely delicious and the options were great. Our guests with dietary requirements were all happy with their food too!

If you are wanting a relaxed, chilled vibe in a stunning location then Hazel Gap is just perfect. We would do it all again if we could!

The most beautiful venue & incredible staff

TL;DR: We could not recommend this venue strongly enough. Seriously, look no further everything is INCREDIBLE.

We got married on the 28th November 2025. Throughout the planning process, we had Georgia helping us through and giving us all of the assurance needed to get it all right. We didn’t want a ‘huge’ wedding, it was a borderline stretch to get 50+ people and we were worried about ‘rattling’, but in the end we had 56 (including Bride & Groom) and it was perfect. The venue is so well equipped for smaller or larger weddings.

The staff at the venue are so incredible in their responsiveness you wouldn’t believe it. We made numerous changes to our quote, asked for various ad-hoc and unusual things and they were all accommodated for. It gets to the point though where you worry you’ve changed too much and details get lost. OH NO No, they make sure the quote is updated in the portal straight away so you can refer back and make sure all is captured. The system is flawless and takes away so much stressor the planning.

The venue provides a list of approved vendors who are all familiar with Hazel Gap. We used almost all of these and they really are fantastic, the venue does not recommend people lightly. Well worth looking into for DJ, Photographer, Accommodation, Taxis the lot. NOTHING is ever a bother to the staff, they bend over backwards and then some for every couple that walks through those doors.

The venue itself is nothing sort of drop dead beautiful. You seriously need to see it to believe and even then, it looks 10x better on the day itself. The team that puts that together, making your ideas & dreams a reality really are miracle workers. We barely left any plans for the venue (probably to their dismay) but they absolutely smashed it.

The whole team on the day, lead by Georgia (Day manager) and Jodie (night manager), were faultless. From arriving to the venue, throughout the day & night. Last minute changes, keeping the day on track but also allowing it to flow naturally is an underrated skill but the team never fell short. Always professional, calm & collected - the weight they take off your shoulders is ridiculous. For example, we had four guests having to leave early (before the meal). The tables were of 8 people so it meant we’d be missing half a table with just two couples left. I told Georgia on the fly about 10 minutes before the meal and she just nodded and said “No worries, I’ll sort it”. No joke, we sat down and looked around and said “which table was it?”. Georgia had very quickly sorted a few seating changes to the point no one even noticed, let alone us! I was in awe, I couldn’t believe it.

I could waffle on all day about how fantastic the food was, the team were, how beautiful the venue is and what not. Our day wouldn’t have been anywhere near as perfect without the hard working team that comes with this venue. I cannot recommend them enough and if you’re so lucky to end up with Georgia or Jodie (I’m sure the others are fantastic but these were ours), you couldn’t be in better hands.

We are forever grateful to Cripps and Hazel Gap for working so hard and making our day effortlessly flawless. I wish I could do it all over again.

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding experience than at Hazel Gap Barn. From the very beginning, everything was seamless. Charley showed us around and helped us get set up, and the online planning system was brilliant — easy to use and a great way to stay on track throughout the process.

On the day itself, everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guests absolutely loved the venue, and we had so many comments on how beautiful it was. The food was outstanding — truly “next level” wedding dining — and we highly recommend attending one of their Feast Nights beforehand. It was such a fun way to sample the menu and wines, and made us even more excited for the big day.

We were incredibly well looked after by Channon and Georgia on the day. They were so attentive, calm, and professional, and made sure everything went perfectly to plan so we could just relax and enjoy ourselves.

Hazel Gap Barn is a stunning venue with an amazing team behind it. We cannot recommend it highly enough to any couples looking for somewhere truly special.

We can’t speak highly enough about this venue!

We had a look around a number of venues in the area and we were just blown away with how the venue looks, both inside and outside.

When we took quotes from various venues we found Hazel Gap to be the most open about their pricing and the most detailed about every single thing that is included. There are no hidden costs that they try to sneak it, it’s all very upfront.

When it came to the planning meetings they offered so many options and gave really helpful suggestions without feeling any pushiness towards choices. All of the staff are super responsive if you have questions.

The online management system they use means that any middle of the night questions/panics you have can be solved by looking at everything on there.

Would strongly recommend going to a feast night months before the wedding so you can get an idea of the food options. The food is incredible, their catering is just perfect.

On the big day itself our family handed over decorations in the morning and when the groom and parents arrived an hour before the ceremony everything was set up perfectly.

From when the guests arrived until the last song of the night and our goodbyes everything felt seemless from the staff at the venue. They found this perfect balance of supporting us through the day, remaining absolutely professional and we felt they genuinely wanted us to have the best day.

We have already mentioned the food, but we have to say it again here. The catering was so incredibly good that all of our guests told us how much they enjoyed the food at the wedding breakfast. We would recommend pizzas for the evening as they are very easy to portion out and take home any spares for the guests.

We are cocktail enthusiasts and this venue perfectly caters to those who are so inclined.

The venue itself makes for stunning pictures. Even if you have rain or weather where you can’t appreciate the exterior, it is beautiful inside and a really good size to have all of your guests. There is a covered area where they can put outdoor games so don’t worry about the kids entertainment if there’s a bit of rain. There is an area for the bride and groom on the day which was really appreciated as having somewhere to have a couple of quiet moments together during your day.

We have been blown away with the service and experience we have had in the planning and celebrating of our wedding day. We may have forgotten something in our description but we wanted to say as many good things as possible. You will not disappointed if you choose this venue.

The most perfect venue

The best wedding day! Everything went perfect! The team were so organised and it ran like a well oiled machine! The venue is stunning and the food just as good!! Our wedding coordinators Beth and Emily made sure the day was perfect!

An Unforgettable Wedding Experience at Hazel Gap

We recently celebrated our wedding at Hazel Gap in Nottingham, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! From the moment we first laid eyes on the stunning building and breathtaking surroundings, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Having booked Hazel Gap over two years ago, we experienced a seamless process with their exceptional team, who were incredibly accommodating and attentive to all our requests and discussions.

On the day of our wedding, the beautiful weather complemented the picturesque outdoor setting we fell in love with. A special shout-out goes to our front of house manager, Beth, who was simply brilliant. Her organisational skills and calming presence made us both feel completely at ease throughout the day. Our evening manager, Channon, was equally impressive, expertly coordinating the evening festivities and ensuring everyone was smoothly ushered into the main room for our first dance.

Hazel Gap exceeded all our expectations, and we cannot rave enough about their outstanding service and stunning venue. For anyone planning a wedding, we highly recommend Hazel Gap for an unforgettable experience.
