We had our wedding at Gosfield Hall in mid March and it was such a brilliant day, largely down to how well ran and organised the day was! Our planner Jocie was incredible, nothing was too much trouble and she seemed to really care about making our day exactly how we’d imagined. She was reassuring, efficient and proactive from our first calls to the big day, it was a pleasure to have her around and I had absolute confidence that she had everything in hand behind the scenes!
We did a lot of our own decor and I did have some worries about how this would all be set up on the day while we were getting ready, but Jocie and the team handled this expertly, bringing our exact vision to life. I wish I hadn’t worried as I really didn’t need to give this a thought on the day, I knew Jocie had it handled!
The portions sizes were great with plenty of vegetables alongside the main we’d chosen. Everyone complimented the food and also the timings, with no table waiting long for each course. Dietary requirements were all followed including special trays of canapés during the cocktail hour for veggie/gluten free guests which was a lovely touch we weren’t expecting! For the evening buffet again there was plenty of food to go around and it was equally as tasty.
All of the other staff that we came into contact with from the bar staff to the waiters and waitresses were so friendly and again couldn’t do more for us.
We were lucky to have sunshine on the day so could take plenty of pictures outside, the grounds were so well looked after with daffodils and other seasonal plants flowering. It all looked immaculate.
We’re so pleased that we chose Gosfield Hall as our venue and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants a stress free, beautiful day!Gosfield Hall's reply:

Gosfield Hall made our dream wedding a reality.
We had our wedding at Gosfield Hall in March 2026 and it was perfect from start to finish.
From our first tour they made us feel completely at ease and were incredible responsive with handling our requests.
The venue itself is stunning, our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was.
The food was exceptional, many guests saying it was the best wedding meal they have had.
Additional the accommodation was a highlight. Having high quality rooms on site made everything so much easier for our traveling guests, and the Rocco Suite was like something straight out of a movie - absolutely stunning.

We held our wedding at Gosfield Hall in December 2025 and it was nothing short of perfect. It was the third venue we visited and my wife was sold as soon as we walked through the doors into that grand ballroom, where we eventually went on to hold our ceremony! It’s hard to find a single fault with the venue, service or staff in the build up to and during the day itself.
We were blessed to have Faye Carter as our Wedding Manager. She couldn’t have been more attentive or accommodating and was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the initial meet she talked us through the day in such detail that we left with a feeling of comfort knowing we would be well looked after. Which we were, and the day went off without a hitch… known to us, as Faye assisted with vendor issues and guest changes in the background taking away any pressure or stress from us on our big day.
The setting is truly picturesque and decked out for Christmas it seemed even more timeless. I don’t think we were fully prepared for just how much of an impact the venue would have, especially at night, the candle package is a must and had our guests constantly telling us they felt like they were in fairy tale. Having the whole venue to yourself is a huge bonus, guests could enjoy a more relaxed vibe in the library, or dance the night away in the bar area and dance floor, which I should add was never empty - a concern we both initially had knowing it was in the corner.
The dining hall is equally as impressive and the food deserves its own mention. The standard provided across the board in canapés, the wedding breakfast, evening buffet and following morning full english was down right superb.
There is nothing we would go back and change and would love nothing more than to do it all over again.Gosfield Hall's reply:

Molly Sent on 26/02/2026The perfect venue for a fairytale wedding
We got married at Gosfield Hall on 20th February 2026. It was the first venue we looked at, and from the minute we saw the staircase and the amazing ballroom, we were sold! Then we were told our dog Samson could join us on the day and would be allowed inside - this was the final selling point for us as we knew that other venues didn't allow this, and him being there on the day made it all the more special.
Tara was our wedding coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was perfect, and she answered all my silly questions in the lead up without any fuss. On the day, lots of people commented on how seamless everything was, and this was 100% down to Tara's organisation. She was a gorgeous person to have around on the day, and no request was too much.
We decided to decorate the venue with our own touch, such as the tables for the wedding breakfast, and Tara was able to make them look exactly as I had imagined with just a few notes given the morning of.
All the other staff working at both the Marquis the night before and Gosfield Hall on the day were also amazing - all so friendly and helpful as well as excellent at their jobs.
The food was absolutely delicious, and we received so many comments about how good the portion sizes were and how tasty everything was. We had some guests have to leave early unfortunately, but the venue still provided these meals so some of our more hungry guests could have 2 meals! They also followed dietary requirements/allergies exactly as required and everything was labelled really clearly.
Our DJ Paul was a delight, and was happy to accommodate our eclectic music tastes and mix this with more 'crowd pleasers' all night.
The rooms! Apart from the obviously stunning Roccoco suite, all the rooms were gorgeous and guests commented on how clean and comfortable they were. Plus, the breakfast the following morning was a hit, with my dad commenting it was the best breakfast he'd had in years!
I could go on & on about how wonderful Gosfield Hall was and how pleased we are that we chose it as our venue. I would 100% recommend it to others who are looking for a gorgeous backdrop, amazing and experienced staff, and delicious food and drink. *****

We had our December wedding at Gosfield Hall and can honestly say it was the absolute best day of our lives - we couldn’t fault a single thing.
From start to finish, the service was exceptional. A huge special mention has to go to Jocie, our wedding planner, who was absolutely incredible. She was calm, organised, attentive and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and having her there meant we could completely relax and enjoy every moment.
The entire team delivered a level of service that felt seamless and thoughtful throughout the day, everything ran smoothly, discreetly and professionally, while still feeling warm and personal.
And the food… wow. The food is to die for which genuinely unheard of for a wedding from our experience and from what our guests told us. Every course was delicious, beautifully presented, and served perfectly. We had so many compliments saying it was the best wedding food they’d ever had.
Gosfield Hall itself is, of course, stunning, especially in December, but what really sets it apart is the people, the organisation, and the quality of the experience they deliver.
We had the most incredible day and will forever be grateful to the whole Gosfield Hall team for giving us memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering their wedding there. 💛Gosfield Hall's reply:

Our wedding at Gosfield Hall was nothing short of a dream. The service, the atmosphere, and the entire experience were simply perfect — it genuinely felt like a real-life fairy tale. Every detail was beautifully taken care of, and the venue created the most magical setting we could have ever imagined.
I also want to highlight the incredible support we received from Joice Smith. Her kindness, professionalism, and dedication made all the difference. From the planning stages to the very last moment of our wedding day, she ensured everything flowed seamlessly. A HUGE thank you to Jocie and the Gosfield team for making our wedding day so incredible and perfect! We had the BEST day, it still feels like a dream!
Jocie was absolutely incredible! She ensured everything ran smoothly on the day and it was amazing having such a lovely person to trust coordinate your wedding.
The rest of the Gosfield team were also incredible too. Our food was unbelievable, all of our guests were so impressed and commented on how much they loved the food.

The Most Magical Day
If you want your day to be stress-free and magical, then Gosfield Hall is for you. My now husband (!!!!) and I looked at Gosfield Hall about 13 months before our wedding date and had quite some flexibility on dates. The hostess provided us with a unique experience and we were sold! Throughout the journey we were given a wedding planner that really understood our vision and was very hands on throughout the entire planning, especially the 3 months before when, quite frankly, any bride/groom is starting to getting the jitters. On the day itself, Ellie, our wedding planner made sure that all our guests were checked in, along with topped up with drinks and fed properly. The food was exquisite and the staff working at the venue were brilliant. It’s exactly what you see in the pictures, extremely beautiful and a memorable place.Gosfield Hall's reply:
