We are so incredibly happy that we chose Gosfield Hall for our wedding on 4th September. I always knew when I got engaged that I would love to be married here and on our day we knew we made the best decision but what really made whole experience so special for us was the people, especially our wonderful wedding planner, Jocie.
From the very beginning, Jocie just completely got us. She understood exactly the kind of day we wanted and made the whole planning process feel exciting, fun and genuinely enjoyable rather than stressful or overwhelming. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we always felt like we were in such safe hands.
By the time the wedding day arrived, we had complete trust in her, and that meant we could simply enjoy every second without worrying about timings, suppliers or what was happening next. Everything ran so smoothly and effortlessly, and we know that was because Jocie was working away behind the scenes making sure everything was exactly as it should be.
What meant the most to us was that she never made it feel like she was simply doing a job. She genuinely cared about our day and about making it special for us. Having someone who understood us so well, kept us calm and made the whole experience so enjoyable is something we will always be grateful for.
Our wedding day was honestly everything we could have hoped for and more, and Jocie played such a huge part in that. We will always look back on our time at Gosfield Hall with memories we will cherish forever.

A dream wedding come to life
We had the best time in Gosfield Hall. We got married there in September 21, 2026. We viewed this wedding Venue June the first one we viewed and immediately fell inlove with how beautiful the place is. The staff, the food the drinks everything was perfect. I cant fault this place. Billy and I got married at Gosfield Hall on 28th September 2026, and honestly, the whole experience was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. From the moment we viewed the venue, we fell completely in love with it. It was everything we had dreamed of and more, and our guests were equally blown away. We genuinely could not have chosen a more perfect place to get married.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning.
Every room is beautiful, with the perfect balance of elegance, character and luxury. Everything felt five-star quality without the enormous price tag you might expect from a venue of this calibre. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful Gosfield Hall was, and the Rococo Suite in particular! My bridesmaids had far too much fun taking selfies in there, and it made the most gorgeous backdrop for so many of our memories. The venue really does speak for itself, and we will always be so grateful that we got to celebrate our wedding somewhere so special.
The staff were nothing short of incredible.
From our initial viewings and open days, to our date-night dinner and, of course, the wedding itself, the team were consistently wonderful. We also hired The Marquis for the evening before our wedding, and the ladies behind the bar were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, making all our guests feel at home from the moment they arrived.
On the wedding day itself, the servers and bar staff were attentive, warm and genuinely lovely. The food deserves a special mention in its own right, too. We have had so many guests message us afterwards to say it was “the best food at a wedding they’ve ever had” which is such an incredible compliment! The quality was outstanding, and it was clear how much care had gone into every dish.
What made it even more special was how accommodating the kitchen was with dietary requirements and allergies. We have had guests message us to say how impressed they were with the alternative meals provided, which were made to feel just as special as everyone else’s, and how thoughtfully the servers looked after them and their individual needs. That level of care meant so much to us. We wanted every single guest to feel looked after, and the team absolutely delivered on that.
And saving the best until last… our incredible wedding manager, Jess Keall.
From the moment we met Jess, we loved her no-nonsense attitude. I warned her that, with my PA background, I might be her worst nightmare… and I may well have been! But Jess never once made me feel that way. She was always positive, attentive and incredibly responsive, working through my seemingly endless lists of questions and making sure I always had the answers and reassurance I needed.
But it was on the wedding day itself that Jess truly became our superhero. I genuinely don’t think I would have made it down the aisle without a complete mental breakdown if it hadn’t been for her. She was running around all morning, moving many boxes of stuff, helping put personalised snack bags in very guests room, looking after our guests so we didn’t have to and somehow managing to be everywhere she was needed, all while remaining calm, organised and reassuring. She was like having a second, unofficial maid of honour!
Jess went so far beyond what we could ever have expected of a wedding manager. She wasn’t just making sure everything ran smoothly, she was looking after us. She understood how much the day meant to us, anticipated what needed doing and took so much pressure off our shoulders. Billy and I will never be able to thank her enough for everything she did. Our wedding was as incredible as it was in no small part because of Jess, and we will always remember the care and effort she put into making it so special.
Gosfield Hall, you have something truly special. A stunning venue, exceptional food, an incredible team and people who genuinely care about making your wedding unforgettable.
If you’re considering getting married here, we couldn’t recommend it more highly. We would choose Gosfield Hall a thousand times over.

We had the most incredible wedding day at Gosfield Hall and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to make it happen. It’s very clear that Gosfield Hall is a wedding machine – they know exactly what they are doing, and that experience really showed throughout the day.
Jess was brilliant from our very first meeting. She took detailed notes, really listened to our priorities and remembered the things that were important to us, which made such a difference on the wedding day. In the lead-up, she was highly communicative and made herself available by email, phone and WhatsApp whenever we needed her, which gave us a lot of reassurance as the day got closer.
Meeting with Jess and my maid of honour on the morning of the wedding was particularly helpful, as we were able to go through the final details and make sure everyone was on the same page. She was also fantastic during the photographs, helping to manage our guests and making sure our priorities were listened to and actually happened. She made the transition from getting ready into the Rococo Suite completely seamless.
The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, although unfortunately we did have a visit from the fire brigade during our stay! This obviously wasn’t something the venue could control, but the night manager was incredibly helpful and did everything they could to get things sorted for us as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Jess also stayed late on the wedding night and was incredibly helpful in making sure everything was organised for us before we left, which was hugely appreciated.
The day itself went amazingly and was an absolute dream. As far as we are concerned, nothing went wrong – and I’m sure we can credit a huge amount of that to Jess and her amazing team working quietly behind the scenes to make sure everything ran exactly as it should.
And finally, the food deserves a special mention. We had so many guests tell us that it was some of the best food they had ever had at a wedding breakfast, which says a lot!
We would absolutely recommend Gosfield Hall to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with a team that genuinely knows how to deliver a wedding. And if you’re lucky enough to have Jess as your coordinator, you’re in very safe hands.

The most stunning venue for our wedding. The whole day was perfect and could not have been any better!
Jocie was amazing on the day as our wedding planner she was so laid back and did not push us to do anything. She definitely was a big reason the day was so perfect.Gosfield Hall's reply:

We cannot thank the team at Gosfield Hall enough for making our wedding day absolutely flawless. From our very first viewing, we knew this place was special. They were incredibly welcoming, allowed us to visit as many times as we wanted in the lead-up to the big day, and the food tastings were fantastic. Communication throughout the entire planning process was seamless.
The celebrations started the night before, as the bridal party stayed in the on-site cottage. It was absolutely perfect, and having the hot tub was such a brilliant, relaxing way to kick off the wedding weekend.
Our wedding coordinator, Jocie, was nothing short of amazing. Her communication was incredible, absolutely nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was so warm and friendly that it felt like planning a wedding with a close friend.
The venue itself is breathtaking—a total dream. Walking down the aisle in the Queen’s Gallery was a surreal, magical moment that lived up to every childhood dream. The food on the day was spectacular, and every single member of staff was fantastic, attentive, and professional.
An added bonus is the beautiful accommodation on-site. There is plenty of room for guests to stay over, and the bridal suite itself is absolutely stunning—the perfect space to get ready and unwind.
Our only minor critique would be the DJ. While the music itself was good, he didn't really stick to the pre-provided playlist we had requested, and he unfortunately played our designated "final song" right in the middle of the evening. He also didn't really take any requests from our guests on the night unless they came directly from Jocie, my groom, or myself.
Despite that tiny hitch, it truly was the perfect day at the most stunning venue. We couldn't have asked for a better start to married life!Gosfield Hall's reply:

Gosfield Hall made our dream wedding a reality.
We had our wedding at Gosfield Hall in March 2026 and it was perfect from start to finish.
From our first tour they made us feel completely at ease and were incredible responsive with handling our requests.
The venue itself is stunning, our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was.
The food was exceptional, many guests saying it was the best wedding meal they have had.
Additional the accommodation was a highlight. Having high quality rooms on site made everything so much easier for our traveling guests, and the Rocco Suite was like something straight out of a movie - absolutely stunning.

We held our wedding at Gosfield Hall in December 2025 and it was nothing short of perfect. It was the third venue we visited and my wife was sold as soon as we walked through the doors into that grand ballroom, where we eventually went on to hold our ceremony! It’s hard to find a single fault with the venue, service or staff in the build up to and during the day itself.
We were blessed to have Faye Carter as our Wedding Manager. She couldn’t have been more attentive or accommodating and was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the initial meet she talked us through the day in such detail that we left with a feeling of comfort knowing we would be well looked after. Which we were, and the day went off without a hitch… known to us, as Faye assisted with vendor issues and guest changes in the background taking away any pressure or stress from us on our big day.
The setting is truly picturesque and decked out for Christmas it seemed even more timeless. I don’t think we were fully prepared for just how much of an impact the venue would have, especially at night, the candle package is a must and had our guests constantly telling us they felt like they were in fairy tale. Having the whole venue to yourself is a huge bonus, guests could enjoy a more relaxed vibe in the library, or dance the night away in the bar area and dance floor, which I should add was never empty - a concern we both initially had knowing it was in the corner.
The dining hall is equally as impressive and the food deserves its own mention. The standard provided across the board in canapés, the wedding breakfast, evening buffet and following morning full english was down right superb.
There is nothing we would go back and change and would love nothing more than to do it all over again.Gosfield Hall's reply:

The best day!
We had our wedding at Gosfield Hall in mid March and it was such a brilliant day, largely down to how well ran and organised the day was! Our planner Jocie was incredible, nothing was too much trouble and she seemed to really care about making our day exactly how we’d imagined. She was reassuring, efficient and proactive from our first calls to the big day, it was a pleasure to have her around and I had absolute confidence that she had everything in hand behind the scenes!
We did a lot of our own decor and I did have some worries about how this would all be set up on the day while we were getting ready, but Jocie and the team handled this expertly, bringing our exact vision to life. I wish I hadn’t worried as I really didn’t need to give this a thought on the day, I knew Jocie had it handled!
The portions sizes were great with plenty of vegetables alongside the main we’d chosen. Everyone complimented the food and also the timings, with no table waiting long for each course. Dietary requirements were all followed including special trays of canapés during the cocktail hour for veggie/gluten free guests which was a lovely touch we weren’t expecting! For the evening buffet again there was plenty of food to go around and it was equally as tasty.
All of the other staff that we came into contact with from the bar staff to the waiters and waitresses were so friendly and again couldn’t do more for us.
We were lucky to have sunshine on the day so could take plenty of pictures outside, the grounds were so well looked after with daffodils and other seasonal plants flowering. It all looked immaculate.
We’re so pleased that we chose Gosfield Hall as our venue and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants a stress free, beautiful day!Gosfield Hall's reply:

Molly Sent on 26/02/2026The perfect venue for a fairytale wedding
We got married at Gosfield Hall on 20th February 2026. It was the first venue we looked at, and from the minute we saw the staircase and the amazing ballroom, we were sold! Then we were told our dog Samson could join us on the day and would be allowed inside - this was the final selling point for us as we knew that other venues didn't allow this, and him being there on the day made it all the more special.
Tara was our wedding coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Communication was perfect, and she answered all my silly questions in the lead up without any fuss. On the day, lots of people commented on how seamless everything was, and this was 100% down to Tara's organisation. She was a gorgeous person to have around on the day, and no request was too much.
We decided to decorate the venue with our own touch, such as the tables for the wedding breakfast, and Tara was able to make them look exactly as I had imagined with just a few notes given the morning of.
All the other staff working at both the Marquis the night before and Gosfield Hall on the day were also amazing - all so friendly and helpful as well as excellent at their jobs.
The food was absolutely delicious, and we received so many comments about how good the portion sizes were and how tasty everything was. We had some guests have to leave early unfortunately, but the venue still provided these meals so some of our more hungry guests could have 2 meals! They also followed dietary requirements/allergies exactly as required and everything was labelled really clearly.
Our DJ Paul was a delight, and was happy to accommodate our eclectic music tastes and mix this with more 'crowd pleasers' all night.
The rooms! Apart from the obviously stunning Roccoco suite, all the rooms were gorgeous and guests commented on how clean and comfortable they were. Plus, the breakfast the following morning was a hit, with my dad commenting it was the best breakfast he'd had in years!
I could go on & on about how wonderful Gosfield Hall was and how pleased we are that we chose it as our venue. I would 100% recommend it to others who are looking for a gorgeous backdrop, amazing and experienced staff, and delicious food and drink. *****
