Beyond our expectations!

We first came across Fairyhill when taking our dogs for a beach day at Rhossili.

Fairyhill was only the second venue we visited but we instantly fell in love with this gorgeous property. In particular, the K Room resembles an elegant tree house as it sits nestled amongst the trees and is flooded with luscious natural light.

The team were incredible and the day was seamless, despite us testing and pushing timings on a number of occasions. We did not have to think about anything as it was all taken care of and with great charm and humour.

We have received a large number of compliments about the food, with a number of guests saying it is the best they have ever had. Every dietary requirement was catered for and we were very impressed by the meal service where each course was delivered to the correct person without interruption.

Cleanliness. I was very impressed by how clean the venue was the next morning when I came down for coffee at 0800. Even more remarkable as guests only went to bed at 0200!

Cost. Wedding are expensive and it is hard to avoid that fact. There are also naturally a number of additional costs. However, I never felt we were nickel-and-dimed by the venue. All costs seemed reasonable and proportionate in the circumstances and plenty of concessions were made at no cost.

We had an amazing wedding weekend and can highly recommend Fairyhill.

A Dream Venue and Day

Our wedding day at Fairyhilll at the end of October 2023 was nothing short of magical. The venue's enchanting atmosphere during an autumnal day, coupled with the impeccable service, made it an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we were greeted by a sense of charm and elegance that set the tone for the entire celebration.

The staff at Fairyhill went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawlessly executed with a few little surprises thrown in for good measure throughout the day! Special mention must go to Alex, our event manager, whose dedication and expertise were instrumental in making our day seamless. Alex's meticulous planning and attentive presence allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the occasion.

Our guests were equally captivated by the venue, describing it as a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth, leaving an indelible impression on everyone present and the food was outstanding.

Often, wedding food can be a forgettable aspect, but at Fairyhill, it was nothing short of a gastronomic delight. The carefully crafted menu not only satisfied the palate but left a lasting impression on our guests. The attention to detail in the presentation and the quality of local ingredients showcased the culinary expertise of the venue's chefs.

Fairyhill not only provided a stunning backdrop for our celebration but also a team of professionals who genuinely cared about making our day extraordinary - from our first visit, through the planning process and on the day itself. We are immensely grateful for the incredible experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Fairy Hill to anyone dreaming of a fairytale wedding.

Disappointing

We had high expectations for our special day and had researched so much in our decision. This looked on surface as perfect, however communication up to the day was very late or lacking often having to wait for managers (only seem to work one day a week) to reply.
There were also hidden charges which we weren't told about beforehand which we didn't resolve until a few weeks before our wedding. This caused alot of stress for us.

On the day so many things were not as previously agreed. Food options were changed without our knowledge, meal plans were changed, people didn't receive what they ordered...

To top it off a few of our items were lost or damaged by this venue, including part of my wedding dress!

One staff member, our driver, was excellent and the bar staff were super friendly. Apart from that though some staff didn't even smile. We even asked for our overnight items to be taken to our room but had to do this ourselves during the day.

I was very disappointed and after complaining I was given a written apology and offered no compensation, but only a hamper basket by way of apology, that 2 weeks later still hasn't arrived.

We even before checkout had guests from the next wedding trying to check in.

Very disappointing, especially for the money this venue charges for exclusive professionalism.

My daughter got married at Fairyhill and it was the most perfect day. The staff were fantastic, there and in charge but they faded into the background. It was luxurious and a divine setting. Like getting married in a forest. Fabulous.

Well there is a reason it's called fairy hill and that is because it is your fairy tale wedding.
No words can describe how perfect the venue and team are!!!!
The staff are out of this world. Very friendly, very welcoming and will do absolutely anything they can to ensure you have the most beautiful day.
They invite you in as if you have known them years. Very professional yet full of laughter.
I had a nightmare with my flowers. Nothing is to much for Fairyhill and they last minute created a beautiful top table piece for us.
I am still in miss belief of how perfect our wedding day was. The food was incredible, including the morning breakfast.
Highly recommend.
Go to the wedding fayre and meet the team, they will not disappoint.

Stunning location

Attended a wedding there yesterday what a stunning location weather absolutely amazing and the staff were exellant they couldn’t do enough for you all in all a brilliant day and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue

Nothing was too much

I got married at Fairyhill on Friday (Sept 13th) and we planned the wedding start to finish with the Fairyhill staff's help in less than 3 months.
The staff at the venue we're unbelievably accomodating and understanding with unexpected last minute changes and on the day they were absolutely amazing from start to finish.
Nothing was too much to ask of them.
For anyone thinking about Fairyill as a venue for your wedding day.... don't even think about it. Just do it. You honestly will regret nothing.
To all the staff at Fairyhill, thank you. You are all amazing. It's a shame I'm not gonna get married again as I want to do it all over again.
