Holly Sent on 02/08/2024Elmbridge is the perfect wedding venue for a relaxed/festival feel and 3 days of fun!
Elmbridge was our dream wedding venue from the beginning and although we tried to book it 2 years in advance, it was booked up already! Much to our delight, a few weeks after our initial enquiry ( after we were put on a back-up list), we got a surprise call to tell us our exact date had become available. It felt like the stars had aligned!!
Everyone at Elmbridge were a delight to deal with from the beginning - namely Dan, Charlotte and Sam who supported us in planning our wedding all the way from Australia. They showed my parents and in-laws around the site on multiple occasions and fielded all our many questions and queries over email and via calls/Whatsapp.
The best things about Elmbridge are:
- Unlike 90% of venues, you can book the on-site Accommodation from Friday until Monday (rather than just one night) and it sleeps a lot of guests!
- Guests can stay in the bell tents and the safari tents all weekend too meaning you can create a festival vibe
- You can stretch the wedding event over 3 days and really make the most of the weekend - we hosted about 30 people at The Chequers Pub up the road on the Friday for dinner, had the wedding on Saturday and then most of the guests came back for a BBQ on the Sunday and we checked out on the Monday at 10am
- The ceremony space outside is gorgeous with the backdrop of the lake and animals all around
- The Tipi is a beautiful blank canvas for you to decorate just how you please and it is lit up really beautifully meaning very little decoration is needed - very rustic-chic!
- There is plenty of seating - tables, chairs, hay bales, fire pits etc and you can arrange the furniture however you like, the staff will arrange it all for you prior to the ceremony using an online form
- Our Coordinator Sam was brilliant - she helped the day run smoothly and managed the bar and staff just as we wanted
- You can being your own booze - which saves a lot of money and you can set up extra cocktail bars if you like
- The grounds-staff, bar staff and cleaners were all lovely - very accommodating, friendly and helpful
- You can set up outdoor games on the lawn and we did a tug-of-war which was hilarious
- Elmbridge felt like home - every guest mentioned how relaxed and fun the wedding was and this was mainly because the venue was so chilled and let us put our own spin on it
- You can engage all your own suppliers, which saves costs and creates a festival feel - Elmbridge are very laid back, friendly and accommodating to all suppliers
I would highly recommend Elmbridge as a wedding venue - we had the best day of our lives and are very grateful that the stars aligned to give us the wedding of our dreams! Thanks guys :DElmbridge Farm's reply:

Unique and unforgettable wedding
We loved our wedding experience with Elmbridge Farm. The fact that we could create our wedding exactly how we wanted, made our wedding so special. We had a rodeo bull, food trucks, lawn games and decorated the venue ourselves. Essentially you only pay for the venue as a shell and sort everything else yourself which really worked for us to make it our own. Everyone commented on how they had ‘never been to a wedding like it’. The venue is so beautiful, I wish we could do it all over again.Elmbridge Farm's reply:

Elmbridge Farm was the first and only venue we viewed for our wedding... We booked it 2 days after the first viewing! We viewed it in January when the tipis weren't up yet, but we were sold the moment we saw the farm and the beautiful surroundings. We felt at home there right away and it was easy to create the wedding we wanted there. The team are obviously super busy, but do their best to reply swiftly and be flexible where they can. On the day we felt in very safe hands and things went really smoothly. Having our family and close friends staying in the accommodation across the site was perfect, it felt like a little village of our favourite people. The facilities on site are really lovely and well kept. We stayed in the lodges and absolutely loved it (though there aren't enough mirrors so bring more for getting ready! And bring a fan if it's hot weather). We found that the venue do more for you than you expect - they should toot their own horn more as we weren't sure until last minute on some things. Everything was perfect but it would have been good to know sooner so we could relax more :).
All in all, this was the dream wedding! I can 1000% recommend Elmbridge Farm. We will treasure the memories formed here forever and will most definitely return to stay at the accomodation on our anniversary for years to come!Elmbridge Farm's reply:

We got married at Elmbridge Farm on the 14th of June 2025 and had the most incredible weekend celebrating with our friends and family. From start to finish, the entire team was amazing - so friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly.
A special shout out to Kate for her brilliant support both on the day and in the lead-up to the wedding. She made us feel so reassured and kept everything running effortlessly behind the scenes. Max was great in helping us with the added touches, including the amazing ice cream bike which was a huge hit, and Dan was fantastic with the lodges.
The venue itself was everything we had hoped for - relaxed, beautiful, and completely flexible. We loved having the independence to choose our own suppliers all with the added bonus of no corkage! The whole atmosphere of the day felt so “us,” and we couldn’t be more grateful.
We would recommend Elmbridge Farm a million times over to anyone looking for a magical, laid-back wedding venue with an incredible team behind it. We would give it 6 stars if we could ⭐. Thank you so much to everyone involved - we’ll definitely be back to stay in the safari tents for our anniversary! -

We can’t thank the team at Elmbridge enough for helping us to create the most incredible day. The venue is stunning, staff were helpful, and we loved the fact we could make our wedding just how we wanted it to be.
We had so many comments on the amazing venue. We have the best memories made here at Elmbridge!

The venue is perfect. A magical setting on the edge of a small lake and surrounded by woodland. It is so peaceful. The tipi is perfect and is kitted out with everything you need. It offers so much flexibility to really personalise the venue.
The ability to bring your own alcohol and select your own caterers is great for both the budget and make the day your own.
Finally the owners of the venue Dan and Amy and the people who work there are so accommodating. Couldn’t recommend enough!
