The perfect autumnal wedding day!

Dovecliff went above and beyond to provide us with the perfect day ever. Leading up to the wedding, they were very responsive and flexible with questions and requests, and they never made us feel like we were asking for too much or something silly. On the day, the team was perfect, and in particular, family members and guests noted the astounding job Jordan did coordinating the day, getting stuck in any tasks, and being super friendly and approachable. As even 6 months on now from the wedding day (November 2024), my Grandpa still highly praises Jordan! There was loads of food, a nice selection of drinks, the rooms were super luxurious, they allow dogs, and the whole vibe of the day was perfect. Honestly, I can't think of anything to improve from the day, so I highly recommend you pick this venue for your wedding!

Dovecliff went above and beyond to provide us with the perfect day ever. Our wedding

I cannot thank Dovecliff Hall Hotel enough for everything they did to make our dream wedding! Jordan has been amazing from start to finish! Herself and and Luke made everything run so smoothly on the day! Nothing was too much effort, you were happy to help with everything that was asked and it was like you was there as a friend not just a coordinator. I've had numerous comments from my bridesmaids and guests about how helpful you were and how you made everything stress free! Thankyou so much! And to all the staff at the hotel we've had an amazing experience! Everyone has commented on how lovely the food was too it was just a dream from beginning to end! Thankyou so so much for making our dreams come true!!

Absolutely Amazing Experience

Wow, what a venue! The venue itself is a lovely place to get married with plenty of places for great photos. The food we had on the wedding breakfast and on the evening was amazing and tasted delicous. The best thing about getting married here, however, was the staff. Leading up to the day the wedding coordinators were super helpful and answered every single query we had (no matter how small or silly). Then on the day the staff were so attentive and ensured that everything ran like clockwork. Everyone was just so lovely to us and really added to our experience.

My wedding

I had my wedding here on 30.10.24, we had the ceremony and reception at this venue. The staff were amazing and nothing was to much trouble, they made the day flow smoothly and it really was the best day ever! We were so happy with the service we received and would definitely recommend this venue to other couples

Best day of our lives!!

We had our wedding reception at Dovecliff Hall Hotel on 5th October 2024 and from the moment went to view the venue we knew it was the one.
It held such a warm feeling when we stepped in with a beautiful staircase, beautiful reception room and even better views.
Bianca and Jordan were very accommodating from start to finish and answered any questions we had.
We had the recommended dance floor company for DJ and dance floor, and Andy who was the pianist when our guests arrived for drinks and canapés.
The food was 5* and everyone is still talking about it to this day! Even accommodated for the children / dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble.
The staff and bar staff were perfect and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them either.
Rooms were perfect and comfortable and breakfasts the next morning was spot on too! There was also no rush to get out the next day, we had breakfast at ease with our guests and packed up the car and rooms.
It couldn’t have been any better or beautiful and we felt so lucky to have our wedding here.

If you are thinking of taking a look around do not hesitate as you will be in safe hands from the get go!
Picturesque views and just on the whole the best venue!
We can’t wait to return for anniversaries, afternoon teas and Sunday dinners!

Truly excellent

Dovecliff were nothing short of perfect.

We were managed by Jordan who went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met.

They were extremely professional throughout.

On the day Luke ensured that I never bumped into my groom (and I received tons of compliments from the groomsmen & bridesmaids about him) and Emilia in the evening was friendly, helpful and ensured that nobody drank too much- who again I received a lot of compliments about

The day ran with military precision, and we were assisted completely along the way to make sure no detail was missed

Dovecliff were fantastic, I would recommend them a thousand times over and the only downside is that I can't do the whole experience again

From beginning to end Dovecliff was incredible, venue , food , staff everything was outstanding and made our day be an amazing day

Everyone commented and said how lovely the venue was and matched our theme so we'll I'm so glad we went with Dovecliff as on meetings they were so informative and was nice had a few meetings with venue as built a relationship and know what we wanted for our special day

It was such an easy place to plan our wedding, no fuss and everything done easily. We had a super day. The only criticism is the bar, maybe on functio

Thank you both so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure looking after you both and your guests.
I would like to just mention however in regards to your comments about the bar having queues as this was only due to 70 additional guests turning up unexpectedly which then made our total guests numbers on the evening increase up to 190 which is well over our capacity. Our bar operates on a maximum of 120 people and on these numbers the bar runs smoothly and efficiently. Unfortunately having an extra 70 guests over the capacity of our 120 meant a build up of queues, undue stress to our bar staff and team which was certainly not ideal as we pride ourselves on our service delivery but this was not possible on this occasion due to the numbers being exceeded.
I did speak to yourself about this and could do nothing about these surprise additional guests apart from try to accommodate them which is what we did so a build up of queues were inevitable.
In addition due to the waiting time I also gave free glasses of wine and bottles of beer to your guests in the queue as one thing I hate is queues and on a normal basis this certainly does not happen. We always go above and beyond which is what we did on this occasion.

Wedding Day

We had the most amazing wedding day at Dovecliff Hall. We fell in love with the building and the grounds, and the exclusive use was the icing on the cake! Having only our guests using the hotel rooms was amazing and the family breakfast altogether the next morning really added that extra special touch. The day itself was absolutely superb! The staff were so friendly and accommodating throughout the whole process. We would definitely recommend Dovecliff Hall as a brilliant wedding venue! Thank you for everything, Mr and Mrs Fryer xx
