We got married in March 2026, and we’re so glad we chose this venue. Not only is it a beautiful building with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for photos, but the organisation and the day itself was absolutely perfect.
From the very beginning, Jess, the wedding coordinator, was friendly, helpful, and incredibly responsive throughout the planning process. She always answered our questions, offered great ideas, and gave thoughtful advice on what would work best for our day. She also coordinated seamlessly with our other suppliers, including SarahB Events, which made everything feel stress-free. We truly felt that our needs were listened to, and we really appreciated the flexibility on offer, from the food options to how the day was run. There's also a good choice of rooms meaning the can cater small, medium and large weddings.
On the day itself, everything ran smoothly and to schedule, without ever feeling rushed. All the staff were fantastic, reception, bar, and wait staff, making us feel special and ensuring our guests felt welcome.
Jess and her team set up the venue exactly as we had envisioned, with every detail, from centerpieces to favours and décor perfectly in place. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. We also used the hotels DJ service and he paid close attention to our likes and dislikes, creating a great atmosphere that kept everyone enjoying themselves.
Our guests have all commented on how much they enjoyed the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding.
The hotel itself is lovely to stay in and the breakfast is delicious, easy to access for our guests and plenty of parking. -

We got married here at the start of January.
It’s such a beautiful hotel, downstairs was so spacious, our wedding guests had plenty of room to move around.
We were so happy with how the decoration and everything turned out.
Special mention to Jessica, wedding coordinator, who couldn’t do enough for us on the day (and even before). She made our day so special for us and it ran so smoothly. We are so grateful for everything she did for us.
A big thank you to all the staff at Crowne Plaza. Nothing was too much trouble.
The food was amazing. The chefs even made us some dessert platters to add on to our buffet last minute (we were supposed to have a chocolate fountain but it snowed so they couldn’t get to us).

The most stunning venue
The most stunning venue that we went to view and instantly fell in love! We started our planning with Emily and had a smooth transition over to Jess but both are amazing! Jess made the planning of our big day so easy and made me feel so at ease. Jess answered all my enquires and I seriously couldn’t have done it without her help. Throughout our day Jess made sure everything went perfect and it certainly did. The food menu was amazing and all our guest said their meal was beautiful. All the decorations I had put together was put out just how I wanted it and more. Thank you Crowne Plaza for making our day so special. Would highly recommend this place to any bride and groom. ❤️ -

Jessica at the Crowne Plaza Hotel was an absolute dream to work with as our wedding coordinator! From our very first meeting, her professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for our vision shone through. She was incredibly organized, always one step ahead, and anticipated our needs before we even realized them.
Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Jessica made the entire process feel seamless and enjoyable. She was readily available to answer our endless questions, offer invaluable advice, and provide reassurance whenever needed. Her communication was excellent – prompt, clear, and always friendly.
On the wedding day itself, Jessica was a true superhero. She managed every detail flawlessly, ensuring everything ran according to schedule and that we could simply relax and enjoy our special day. she did it all with grace and efficiency. Many of our guests commented on how smoothly everything went, and that's a testament to Jessica's hard work behind the scenes.
We are so incredibly grateful to Jessica for making our wedding at the Crowne Plaza everything we dreamed of and more. If you're looking for a wedding coordinator who is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cares about making your day perfect, look no further than Jessica. Amazing Location
We had our wedding here in August 2024.
And WOW. What an amazing job the hotel and wedding planner did. From the get go we was put at ease by our planner Jessica. Who made sure we had got everything covered. Not only the items which the hotel could offer. Jessica recommended us to suppliers who also perfectly delivered. We also had the pleasure of Emily who was helping to arrange our big day. Who again was just as knowledgeable as Jessica. We really cannot thankyou both enough for making our big day as perfect as you did.
It was fantastic to find such a gem of a venue in the middle of Sheffield which offered the full day service including ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening party to ensure it was accessible to all guest. We was given the large bar just outside the ballroom as our private bar for guests to relax and grab a drink whilst the room was being turned around. Added to that the hotel provided us with their DJ as part of the package who again just got it 100% right. To finish it off the room was decorated amazingly by Sarah B wedding & events which Jessica had arranged.
The venue is just out of this world. Offering a modern touch with such beautiful & amazing character. Honestly the ballroom is just the place to have your big day. Ceilings and walls just covered in unspeakable decor. Words just cannot do it justice.

couldn't rate this hotel high enough. I had my wedding day here 30th December 2022 and to say the day was perfect would be an understatement. The hotel is beautiful. From the outside, up to the beautiful suite we had.
Due to us getting married there we had rooms at a discounted price but honestly with the high standards of the rooms (we had a suite and we also booked 3 standard room) I would have happily paid the full price! The high standards didn't just stop at the wedding suite, even the standard rooms were modern, beautiful and more importantly, spotless. The bed was so comfortable and the rooms were so spacious. The staff were all very polite, kind and very helpful. We didn't get a chance to eat at the bar but the wedding breakfast, evening buffet and breakfast food (the morning after) tasted so nice! I have zero complaints about the hotel, staff, food or anything else for that matter. Now onto our wedding planner, Jess. She is an absolute asset to this hotel. Jess was there every step of the way from me enquiring about the wedding, all through until even now, a week or so later. She was easily contactable and no requests from us were too much for her.
She booked as many viewings as we wanted.
Even catered for my partner and other guests that didn't drink alcohol and had dietary requirements and allergies. She was there every step of the way throughout the day and made sure everything ran so smoothly. I already had high hopes of the hotel from having my prom there many years ago. However my expectations were exceeded greatly! This is a beautiful hotel and we definitely plan to return in the future! -
