Incredible !!

I honestly don’t know where to start ! 11/10!

We originally found The Walled Garden on the hitched website and arranged a visit.

The venue is even more beautiful in real life. As soon as we entered the gardens, we knew this was the one for us.

We met with Hannah initially who is just so lovely.
Following the meeting we decided to book the venue and the in house caterers, The Yellow Kitchen.

The Walled Garden held an open day not long after which we attended. This was incredibly helpful and such a fab morning. We booked our bar supplier following this.

Having booked The Yellow Kitchen for our catering, we were invited to a tasting evening.
Again, this was fantastic. We enjoyed a 3 course meal and a selection of canapés. Most of these meals we picked for our day!

Andrea was on hand to help us with finalising and had some fantastic ideas which we took on board. For example our charcuterie boards which went down well.

Amy our co-ordinator was just amazing and we can’t thank her enough!
I had lots of ideas and she helped bring them all to life.
On the day, Amy was on hand from start to finish, she really is a superstar and an asset to Cowdray.

All the staff Cowdray made our experience so enjoyable.
They are so accommodating and could make anything possible!

On the day, the guests couldn’t believe how beautiful the venue was.
They raved about the food, especially the lamb!

We really did have the best experience from start to finish and would recommend The Walled Garden to everyone!

Perfection!

We booked with Hannah to see the venue in January (for a summer wedding), showed us round, explained all the options (e.g. inside / outside ceremony), very helpful.

We loved the garden and setting in January but fell in love with it even more in the summer. The garden is truly the standout feature, and in our view, it would be a shame not to do the ceremony outside.

When we booked, they provided us with an amazing list of recommended suppliers, who know the venue really well and provided high quality services. This took the stress out of wedding planning with knowing where to start and would trust their recommended supply list.

We booked the Yellow Kitchen for our our 3 course meal, canapes and bar services. They had a really extensive menu, with a great range of options and were happy to make alterations to suit our preferences. On the day, the food was fantastic and had 80+ with duck cooked to perfection (not easily done). Had many guests tell us they loved the food!

All the staff at the Walled Garden were amazingly helpful and very professional. Andrea (our co-ordinator) really understood how to use the venue to its full potential, and the day ran incredibly smoothly.

We had the most amazing day and would strongly recommend the Walled Garden.

The perfect day!

Getting married at the walled garden was everything we hoped for.

The gardens were absolutely stunning on the day! We had so many comments about how nice the venue was from our guests.

The Castle Room and Courtyard Room were perfect for our wedding breakfast and dancefloor. Both rooms helped create an amazing atmosphere and really got the party going!

Sam and Hannah at Cowdray were so helpful throughout the entire process. They were always very responsive and helpful, answering any questions we had and offering us much needed advice! On the wedding day, Sam was amazing at making sure everything ran smoothly, we can't imagine the day going how it did without his help and are very grateful.

We couldn't recommend the Walled Garden more, and will definitely be back to visit in the future and relive the memories!

Beautiful venue

We had our wedding here in May and the venue was perfect. The team were very friendly and professional throughout the planning period and were very flexible with allowing us to drop off and collect items before and after the wedding. The suppliers we used also said they all loved weddings at The walled Garden because of how lovely the staff are so I think that says a lot!

A beautiful wedding day

We are so happy that we chose The Walled Garden at Cowdray for our wedding in April.

We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor setting for their special day. The venue is stunning with plenty of unique character, great indoor spaces and the most gorgeous gardens. We fell in love with the venue instantly!

The whole Cowdray team is amazing and cannot do enough to make it your perfect day.

Beautiful September Wedding

My husband and I viewed this magical venue at an open day event and instantly fell in love! From the moment we booked, all the staff were amazing! We had the ceremony outside, with a bouncy castle and live singer to sing me down the aisle. The rooms inside were the perfect size for our meal and evening, and even had a food truck in the courtyard. We truly had the best day, and all of our guests loved it! Would highly recommend this venue! Special thanks to Hannah, Sam and Phern!

Beautifully British Walled Garden

My partner and I fell in love with this place at first sight. We wanted a classic British wedding but with a contemporary/modern feel and that’s exactly what we got with the Walled Garden. The gardens are so beautiful yet simply done with immaculate lawn, and the inside reflects this with open brickwork walls but not rustic or cottage feeling. The spaces are great to completely put your stamp on things as venue is hired empty, but the venue have a great selection of supplies who are professional and polite. The day was seamless with Cowdrays team, they move everything quietly along, whilst being super friendly and polite to everyone and nothing was too much hassle when it came to requests before the big day. You really can put your personal stamp here. The bridal suite is an amazing space to get ready in, and we rented some of Cowdrays accomodation so we could make a weekend of it with friends and family.

Seamless Wedding Day

Such a gorgeous setting for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception, even in the rain! Hannah was great and very responsive from the moment we first enquired. We were put at ease by Sam before and on the big day, nothing was too much trouble. The day appeared seamless, with staff going above and beyond to make sure nothing caused any worries for us. Would definitely recommend The Walled Garden!

Great experience

The walled garden was an amazing and beautiful venue for our wedding reception. Everyone we had contact with in the team were lovely And very helpful. I would say that the one thing that could have been better was the responsiveness to emails/queries/calls once we had begun the planning process as often, we didn’t get a reply for a very long time and I often had to chase up. We just felt that given the amount we were paying to have our wedding there, that the responsiveness should’ve been much better. Other than this, we are happy with our experience, Sam took over organising our day A few weeks before the event and was really brilliant helping us set up the day before and running everything on the day. We used the yellow kitchen caterers (The in-house catering team) which we were definitely recommend as the food was really good. Overall we really enjoyed having our wedding reception at the walled garden!
