We chose the Cotswolds Hotel because it was such a beautiful venue that needed very little added to make it feel perfect. The wedding package was also incredibly affordable, and we genuinely feel we got an amazing amount for our money, especially with the most delicious food!
The planning process was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and accommodating, and we always felt like we were in safe hands. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The whole process was really well organised, which meant we could actually enjoy the build-up to the day rather than feeling stressed about the details.
It’s so hard to choose the best part of our wedding day because there were so many incredible moments! We absolutely loved our entrance down the aisle – it was such a special moment and something we’ll never forget. The food was absolutely incredible and so many of our guests commented on how amazing it was. The disco also did not disappoint! We particularly loved the disco lights – we weren’t expecting them at all, and they made the whole room look so magical and really brought the evening to life.
Sophie made our day so incredibly special. She was amazing from start to finish and was so organised – she seemed to know exactly what needed to be done before I even did! She took so much stress away from me and made everything feel completely effortless. Having Sophie there meant I could just relax, enjoy every moment and not worry about a thing. She was absolutely brilliant and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help make our day so perfect.
Honestly, there is absolutely nothing we could change or improve. The whole day was just so perfect and magical from beginning to end. Everything was so beautifully organised, and every little detail came together exactly as we had hoped.
We would 100% recommend the Cotswolds Hotel to anyone looking for their perfect wedding venue. From the beautiful setting and incredible food to the amazing staff and organisation, it really was perfect in every way. Absolutely perfect
I could not speak highly enough of the quality of service, professionalism and the amazing staff that made our day perfect! Especially Sophie who did everything in the build up and planning to put my mind at ease, I would have been a nervous wreck without her!
I would also like to mention Rukman who was there on the day to make sure things went smoothly and even took a couple of pictures for us when we went out on the golf cart to the bridge. He was very attentive and made sure we were both happy and was very flexible with making changes on the day.

My husband Josh & I had the best day of our lives at Cotswold hotel and spa for our wedding day. The whole team were incredible, especially Sophie who was so professional, kind, organised and just all round fantastic. Sophie even looked after me before the ceromony, calming my nerves and supporting me every step of the way. I cannot recommend the venue more!! We were blown away by how beautiful the venue looked and the amazing space it had. From the moment we started planning, the team at Cotswolds Hotel & Spa were always happy to answer our questions and made the whole process feel so easy. Willcock wedding
We had our wedding on the 24th October 2025
The venue is stunning and all our guest said how beautiful it was
The food was outstanding too again guest commented on how delicious it was
Rooms where great size I stayed the night before and had 6 of us getting ready with two make up artist and 2 hairdressers and there was plenty of room
The staff where great nothing was to much for them and made our day very special
Jules and Lauren where brilliant from the moment we booked any questions however silly they may of been where answered very quickly and effectively
We had the DJ included in our package and again he was brilliant I gave him a list of music and types and everyone was dancing the night away he definitely got the vibe of us and chose the best music for all
I would 100% recommend Cotswold Hotel and Spa for your wedding day you will not be disappointed

In the build up to the day:
How did you find the planning process?
The event planning team were so helpful and informative! I had a lot of questions during the planning process, but they answered them all thoroughly, no matter how small the question. The team really went above and beyond to accommodate our vision for the day. Our meetings were all really well run and we especially enjoyed our menu tasting with Suzanne, she was so knowledgeable and talked us through all the ways we could adapt the menu if we wished.
Did anyone in particular make the process easier or more enjoyable for you?
Everybody who helped us was amazing! Sophie was wonderful in the final lead up to the wedding, especially dealing with some last-minute changes, but we've also spoken to Jules, Lauren and Natasha, who were all brilliant as well.
Was there anything that we could improve on?
We weren't informed that the new room was being/had been built and had found out from another Cotswolds Hotel & Spa couple just before our final details meeting. We were happy to have extra space to use, but a blanket email to all booked couples just to inform us of the changes would have been good.
On the day itself:
What was the best part of your day?
Honestly, we can't pick a favourite moment - our day was perfect! The entire day was so well-run, we knew exactly what to expect in terms of timings and each part of the day flowed smoothly into the next. We didn't have to worry about anything and could just relax and enjoy our day. The food was delicious and generous portions, both us and our guests really enjoyed it.
Was there anyone in particular that made your day extra special?
Raj and Enver were great! We especially appreciated that they set aside some canapes for us to enjoy once we had finished all of the group photos, so we didn't miss out, and they kept checking in on us throughout the day to make sure everything was going well. It was also lovely that Sophie came to find us and say congratulations/goodbye before she finished her shift.
Was there anything that we could improve on?
I realised when we got home the next day that the decorative sugar flowers from our cake hadn't been kept/given to us. Not too big of a deal for us as we didn't really have anywhere suitable to keep them anyway, but I know many couples would have liked to have kept these.
The venue:
What made you book our venue?
As soon as we stepped into the ballroom on a wedding open day, we loved the fairy lights on the ceiling and how spacious and light the room was! We could immediately picture ourselves getting married there. The team was really friendly and welcoming too.
What was your favourite part about the venue?
The ballroom definitely stood out as it's gorgeous! The golf course is also a beautiful setting for couples photos. We also liked that there were plenty of rooms for all of our guests to stay on-site, as some other local venues didn't have this capacity.
Could you suggest an area we could improve on?
We stayed on quite a hot weekend and our block didn't have air con in the rooms. This would be a good addition in the future! -

When we visited the venue we fell in love straight away, the team answered all our queries and worries making it very simple to book there and then. Throughout the year of planning with Cotswolds Hotel & Spa they were very helpful and answered any questions we had, Lauren was amazing with everything and tried to answer asap despite the amount of emails we sent over the days. We would not say there was a specific moment of the day that was the best but we definitely enjoyed having a moment to ourselves during the gold buggy ride.
If we could improve anything it would be that the day had been longer as it went super fast. -

The planning process was perfect. Every step was seamless, and all our questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. We felt fully supported throughout, which made the experience completely stress-free and enjoyable.
Our contact person, Lauren, was absolutely amazing. Every time we spoke with her, we became even more excited and reassured about the wedding. Although we were quite anxious at times, Lauren had a natural ability to calm our nerves and make us feel relaxed. Her remarkable, customer-centered approach was exactly what we needed and made the entire experience even more special.
The person we first spoke to over the phone when inquiring about the venue was also wonderful. I believe it was Lauren, although I am not entirely sure. Since we are very people-oriented, she encouraged us to visit the venue, and we instantly fell in love with it. Without that initial phone call, we might not have visited, even though the venue itself is fantastic.
We wanted to get married somewhere beautiful and affordable, but more importantly, at a place where we felt heard and respected. Cotswolds Hotel and Spa was exactly that. Everyone needs a Lauren in their corner on their big day.
