We had the best day ever having our wedding reception at Burtonfields Hall this August. It really is the perfect wedding venue!
From our first visit, we knew that no other venue compared. The house has recently been renovated to a really high standard. Burtonfields has done a brilliant job of blending the old and the new together, creating a truly unique, traditional and modern feel. The outside of the house and the surrounding grounds are equally as stunning.
Will, the owner, was also brilliant from our initial contact. Will was always on hand to answer all of our queries, provided us great guidance and helped the day run smoothly. As Burtonfields is Will’s family home, it made the whole experience feel really special and very unlike other commercial wedding hotel set ups.
All of our guests were so impressed with the venue and we really had the best weekend celebrating our wedding at Burtonfields Hall. Thank you so much for having us - we hope to come back one day! Sarah & Tim -

Burtonfields Hall was the absolute dream venue for our wedding on 5th Nov 2025. It was the only venue we viewed and the minute we drove up, we knew it was the one. The house is classic and traditional yet modern and was exactly what we were looking for, the rooms are decorated to the highest standard and all guests commented how comfortable the beds were. Having the ability to be there for 2 nights exclusively either side of the wedding was perfect.
Will and Becky were exceptional throughout the whole planning process and really saw our vision, no ask was too much. They were professional, knowledgeable and attentive.
The house is so well equipped and built to host these amazing events. From the bar to the billiard room, every single element has been thought about. We cannot recommend this beautiful venue enough! -

We booked Burtonfields Hall for our Indian-English wedding and it was everything we could have asked for and more!!!
From liaising with Will with his fountain of knowledge and boundless positivity to arriving the day before the wedding to the beautiful Burtonfields hall - a cozy, clean and timeless venue that made my family and I feel right at home.
On the wedding day, Will and his team were phenomenal! Not only were they incredibly organised, but all our guests commented on how fun they were, as well as how brilliant the bar staff were! They all made the wedding day feel even better than we had imagined.
The rooms are decorated beautifully, the beds are wonderfully comfortable and waking up to the stunning views of the grounds, the sheep and the gliding red kites filled, my now husband and I, with a sense of Yorkshire tranquility.
In-truth, we didn’t want to leave and we didn’t want the weekend to end!

As soon as we stumbled across Burtonfields online, we knew it was the wedding venue for us. Being a guest at many weddings made us realise exactly what we wanted from our wedding day! Having accommodation on site and a cosy feel was key for us.
When we went to view Burtonfields, Will invited us in and made us feel at home straight away. Burtonfields is cosy yet grand. Every aspect of the house has been well thought out and renovated to the highest possible standard. The fact the house is yours from 1pm on Friday to 2pm on Sunday means that you can really start your party early. We decided we wanted to book Burtonfields for our wedding before even leaving the car park as it blew all other venues we’d looked at out of the park!
Life took an unexpected turn for us which meant we had to rearrange our wedding for a year later. Will was so understanding with this and helped us ensure all our suppliers could accommodate our new date too. Throughout the planning process, Will and Becky were always on hand to answer all our questions.
The weekend itself, where can we start. As soon as all our guests arrived on Friday they were blown away with the standard of accommodation and the extent of how much the house was really all yours!!
Our wedding day ran absolutely perfectly. We did not need to worry on the day regarding any timings or details, Will and Becky had all this in hand. We had a beautiful sunny day and having the drinks reception on the lawn was a magical experience, one us and our guests will never forget. Once all our day guests had left, we still had the house to use to carry on the party without the worry of a ridiculously early check out time the next morning! The Sunday morning fry in the dining room was the perfect way to conclude the weekend.
We can’t thank Will, Becky and all the staff at Burtonfields enough for making our wedding a truly unforgettable weekend.

From start to finish we had the most fantastic experience getting married at Burtonfields Hall! Will, Becky and the rest of the team were extremely helpful and friendly - from offering ideas for possible suppliers to bringing my Dad a whiskey after his speech, nothing was too much trouble. The venue is absolutely beautiful and is perfectly set up to have a great time whatever the weather (as we found out on a particularly wet Saturday!) Being able to stay in the venue the day before and after the wedding gave us extra precious time with our closest family and friends which made the whole thing even more memorable. We are so grateful to everyone at Burtonfields Hall for helping us to have such a fabulous day, you really do have something special! -

From the moment we first visited Burtonfields Hall, we knew it was the place where we wanted to celebrate our wedding, a family home with wonderful grounds and a marquee to top– but what truly made it exceptional were the people. From the very beginning, Will and later in the year when Becky joined, went above and beyond for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every question, detail, and idea we had was met with such care, warmth, and professionalism. They made us feel so at ease throughout the entire planning process, and on the day itself, everything flowed seamlessly.
It was such a privilege to be able to stay overnight at Burtonfields. Sharing breakfast the next morning and extending the celebrations with our closest family and friends made everything feel even more special. The house has such a unique charm – it feels like a home in the very best way: warm, welcoming, and full of character, yet still wonderfully elegant and impressive.
Having the choice of a marquee on the grounds allowed us to create the proper English country wedding we had always dreamed of. It was everything we hoped for and more.
The bar team, led by Faye, were also outstanding – attentive, friendly, and full of energy. So many of our guests told us this was the best venue they had ever experienced, not just because of how stunning the house and grounds are, but because of the incredible staff who made it all come to life.
Becky in particular deserves the highest praise – so many of our guests commented not only on how incredible she was at keeping everything running smoothly, but also on her kindness, calmness, and genuine care for everyone. She added such a personal touch that made the whole day even more special.
Will deserves huge recognition too. Burtonfields is his family home, and he has poured so much love, care, and talent into restoring and decorating it so beautifully. Everywhere you look, there are thoughtful details that make the house feel elegant and unique, while still warm and welcoming. His vision for the house and the way he brings it to life for each wedding is truly inspiring.
The rooms and grounds are immaculate and beautifully maintained, offering endless photo opportunities and a truly magical backdrop for the day. From start to finish, we felt completely welcomed and cared for. Burtonfields Hall gave us the most perfect wedding, and we will treasure the memories forever.
We could not recommend this venue, or the wonderful team who run it, highly enough. -

We got married at Burtonfields Hall a couple of weeks ago, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the first time we visited, we knew it was something special — the atmosphere, the setting, everything just felt right.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful — the billiard room was so special to get married in and the open doors gave us the perfect backdrop for the day. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous everything looked.
What really made the difference, though, was the team. Everyone we worked with was so kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. A huge shoutout to Becky, who helped keep everything running smoothly and made the planning feel way less stressful.
The whole day ran seamlessly — from getting ready to the last song of the night — and it really allowed us to just relax and enjoy it all.
We’re so thankful to Will at Burtonfields Hall for helping make our wedding everything we hoped it would be and more. If you’re thinking about booking your wedding here, do it. You won’t regret it.
