The team at Bowcliffe did a fabulous job of co-ordinating and helping plan our wedding day, no request was too big and the team were so helpful and enthusiastic on the big day. The food was also outstanding, we still have people talking about it now. I should also mention the gardens and grounds which make for the perfect backdrop for any wedding in any season! -

The team at Bowcliffe did a great job throughout the night and pre party setup, Rebecca was our contact for our wedding party and did a wonderful job in organising and putting us in contact with suppliers to make our day perfect. The food was brilliant and the service we received throughout the day/night was exceptional -

Bowcliffe Hall is the most wonderful place to get married. It’s got a classic and modern feel, you have the flexibility to build what you would like as a package for us this was perfect! We started off by understanding what we actually want from our service. And we knew we wanted a small ceremony late afternoon without a sit down meal. This for us made our event really stand out. Weather was on our side and we had an outside ceremony guests got to sit outside and have canapés after the ceremony and listen to speeches on the patio. It was very relaxed and guests commented on how much they enjoyed a shorter day for a wedding. Evening guests welcomed by the wonderful team and the evening canapés were amazing. The catering the venue provide is VERY good. Don’t go external. They have an amazing catering team. We got to visit for a taster session which was wonderful.
This leads me on to the planning and team… Molly was our wedding organiser and I can’t stress how much she made this process feel enjoyable and understood. She was just wonderful. So helpful she sat with us multiple times helped us with menu choices and different dates, the day itself was literally faultless. The movement of the decorations from the ceremony into the evening and the change of locations, faultless. We arranged to use the hall for the bridal party to get ready in, this is such a good idea you have beautiful photos in this room and there is a small kitchen you can use next to the room for nibbles and champagne. Equally it has a small room attached which your bridal party can close off and use to get dressed without really going far. Again such an afterthought about how useful and well designed the venue is for a wedding.
There is nothing we would change about our wedding. The service in the lead up, to the delivery and the kind gift of membership afterwards has only left us with the best of memories.
We will be returning for meals and events. It’s a very special place. -

BowCliffe was one of many of the venues that we looked at, but it was the one we instantly knew was for us the moment we did a tour. The venue is stunning, the staff are extremely professional yet easy to talk to. The food was beyond our expectations. Molly was really responsive and easy to get on with, answering our many questions and made the day run smoothly
Our only criticism is the microphone / pa was barely functional, some of our speeches had to be without microphones -

Molly, Brooke and the team at Bowcliffe Hall helped make our wedding day so special. We had the BEST day and everything was absolutely amazing. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Bowcliffe Hall looked absolutely stunning and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. Being able to have a blessing in the on-site chapel with our close family added another special moment to the day. We felt so well looked after, nothing felt like too much trouble, and everything went smoothly. It was everything we imagined and more.

A perfect venue and wedding day!
A truly incredible venue and wedding day! Married in August 2024 we had the most wonderful day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or service, from our initial enquiry right through to our wedding day. Not only is Bowcliffe Hall beautiful the grounds are immaculate. Plus using the Blackburn wing for our evening reception really made it extra special. We loved that it was only us, our wedding guests and the Bowcliffe team on site. You are in very safe hands with Brooke and the team. A very special venue! -

Perfect venue & fantastic food
From the moment we were showed around this venue we knew it was the one we wanted - being able to use the different spaces for the ceremony, food and evening was just perfect and we loved the luxury style of the place with it's quirky touches. Certainly not much extra is needed to spend on decor when it looks so good!
The food was priority for us - and didn't disappoint - all canapes and meals were delicious and all our guests were catered for, nothing was too much trouble.
The day itself went so smoothly, the service was amazing, our guests have said they felt like royalty. Our coordinator Imogen was so friendly and helpful throughout the planning process and made sure we had everything covered properly.
Honestly just wish we could do it all again! -
