We have had the absolute honour of being a recommended supplier for photography & video at Bassmead for several years, and it feels like a second home to us. The staff are incredible, and they just seem to have every part of the wedding journey covered form initial meetings, all the way through to getting their clients hitched! We have worked at many venues all over Europe and the attention to detail from the staff with our previous bride's and groom's has been second to none. Bassmead is one of those venues that just seems to tick every box. It's so obvious to us every time we visit how much the staff love working there and bing part of the Bassmead family, and this is so important when you're putting trust in someone and somewhere to cater for your celebrations. It's a stunning, rural location with beautiful scenery and incredible nooks, crannies, textures and shapes for pictures!! The food is outstanding and their customer service and welcoming atmosphere is second to none. We always look forward to working here, and always will. We cannot recommend this stunning venue highly enough.

The most beautiful venue
I cannot recommend Bassmead Manor Barns enough! We visited the venue on an open day two years ago. It was the first venue we visited, we then visited two more and cancelled a third because none of them compared to Bassmead. From the moment we walked in the staff were amazing and really made us feel welcomed and that it was all about us! This continued to the very end. The venue is absolutely beautiful, they have thought about every little detail and we knew we were going to be well looked after.
Ally was our Event Manager who was honestly an absolute dream from start to finish. She was easy to contact, clear and made sure we were happy with every detail. She looked after us so well on the day and made sure we were fed and watered and had everything we needed. The day ran so smoothly due to her and she made the process completely stress free. Our guests didn't have a bad word to say about the venue, we have had so many comments on the food, staff and how beautiful the venue is.
The boudoir where you get ready is amazing, like walking in to a salon and having accommodation for us and also 7 double rooms for family was amazing.
The day was everything we hoped for and more and we cannot thank Bassmead enough. Do not hesitate to book!

Most Magical Day of our Lives
The most magical day of my life ✨
Our whole experience with Bassmead from start to finish was flawless. All of the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and professional and it really makes to the entirety of the day.
The venue itself is stunning. Literally my dream venue and I’m so happy I was able to get married here. The grounds are kept exemplary and beautiful, the food is to die for, we had so many compliments from our guests!, and again, the staff really make your whole experience perfect.
I want to say a massive thank you to Ally, you were incredible and put us both so at ease, before and on our big day. Everything I wanted, you made possible and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day and a lot of that is down to you and your fantastic team.
Would highly recommend.

We got married at Bassmead Manor Barns in April 2023 and from our first visit back in 2020 we knew there was nowhere else we could possibly get married. The venue is stunning and has everything you could ever need on your wedding day. The tasting event confirmed just how much of an iconic place it is, with the food and the atmosphere matching the high standards of the venue. Our wedding coordinator Leah was so friendly and communicative, we really felt supported and knowledgeable with every step of planning the day. On the day itself everything went perfectly. There is not one thing we could fault and that is clearly down to the hard work of Leah and the rest of the team at Bassmead. We had an amazing day, thank you all so much -

From the moment we stepped on Bassmeads grounds we knew it was the venue for us, the beautiful barns, the autumnal vibes and bridal boudoir are incomparable to other venues.
But then everything got 10x better when we were introduced to our coordinator Leah. Leah could not do more, answer anytime, adapt anything from a gluten free menu to accessible calm down areas for disabled guests. We could not recommend bassmead and more specifically Leah, any more than we (constantly) do. Our guests even want to marry there and through Leah now!!! You can’t go wrong here 🤍 -

So glad we had our wedding at Bassmead we had the best day! Every little detail was taken care of so had nothing to think about on the day other than enjoying it! From moving bits across venue to keeping food safe for us so we didn't miss out on canapés while mingling couldn't have been more helpful! -

The day was seamless and couldn't have been more perfect.
We had Leah as our event coordinator, her and the entire Bassmead team were fantastic. The level of professionalism and support they offered at Bassmead was second to none. The venue is impeccable and so well thought out. The ceremony room feels full of love and you genuinely feel how much the team care about what they do. The food was the star of the show with all our guests commenting on how high quality everything was and how considerate of dietary requirements they were. I can't think of anything that would have made it any better. -
