My Perfect Day!
Bannatyne Hotel Darlington was an absolute no brainer when it came to picking a venue for our wedding! The location was perfect for us with all of our family living locally meaning we didn’t need to worry about transport. The venue itself gives a nice mix of both modern and timeless vibes which was exactly what we were looking for! Communication with the hotel was brilliant; as a bride with ADHD I had a million questions and needed to triple check everything which the staff were more than accommodating with. Working with the events team helped the big day come together so smoothly, any and all requests were fulfilled without hesitation. I want to say an extra special thank you to Joshua, who was the main man on our wedding day and allowed me to finally relax knowing all of the important matters were in his hands. He contacted the vendors for me the night before for extra reassurance and worked alongside all of my table plans and set up ideas to help create the most amazing, breath taking venue. He even came to the rescue at midnight when my new husband and I had locked ourselves out of the bridal suite! 🙈 overall, I could not recommend the hotel and their staff enough -

Kipling wedding
When we planned our wedding, we absolutely loved how beautiful bannatynes hotel is and the garden, it was so close to the church where we got married, so location was perfect.
We went with there wedding package and was really happy with what we got for our money, even some of the things on there we did not require, so they took some of the cost off
The communication with the new events team was brilliant from start to finish (thankyou josh), they helped us and listened to everything we wanted, we explained how we wanted the lay out of the room and they were brilliant with sorting this and making our room as we wanted, it was a smooth process for the room change over from having wedding breakfast to the night time.
Overall we would highly recommend bannatynes, brilliant service, nice hotel and very helpful

We had our wedding at Bannatyne Hotel Darlington on 31st July 2026, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
From start to finish, the staff were absolutely amazing. The attention to detail was exceptional, the food was fantastic, and everything ran smoothly and exactly as we had hoped. Nothing was too much trouble, and the whole team went above and beyond to make our day so special.
A special shout-out to Josh, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He was attentive, supportive and made sure every little detail was taken care of, which gave us complete peace of mind throughout the planning and on the day itself.
Everything went perfectly, and we couldn’t be happier with our wedding at Bannatyne Hotel Darlington. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue and a team who genuinely care about making your day unforgettable.Bannatyne Hotel Darlington's reply:

Where do I start with Bannatyne’s? From the very first meeting to picking up the last guests today! Nicole and team have just been incredible. We had to change venues, and as soon as we met with Nicole she offered us support and help with everything straight away! We chose the platinum package and we were not disappointed! Having booked out the majority of the rooms, we were basically given exclusivity of the hotel, even though other guests were staying there, they became apart of our wedding party! I have to shout out all of the staff at Bannatynes! From checking in with us, to joining in with games and the conga - you all kept our guests entertained throughout the whole stay! From my husband and I, we would like to say a huge thank you ❤️ -
