Putteridge Bury is serenely situated within picturesque parkland on the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire border in Luton, England. The venue can cater to up to 148 guests for your wedding breakfast and 200 guests for your evening celebrations. For larger weddings, the beautiful gardens are ideal for a marquee.
Facilities and Capacity
Putteridge Bury is a neo-Elizabethan manor house built in 1911 in the style of Chequers. The grounds were redesigned by Edwin Lutyens and planted by Gertrude Jekyll. The reflecting pool and massive yew hedges provide a wonderful setting for your photographs.
When your guests arrive, they will be greeted in a private room and offered a welcoming drink. The dining room is spectacular for your wedding breakfast and features ornate crown moulding, sparkling crystal chandeliers and numerous windows. These bathe the space in natural light and can also open up to the outside to let in a breeze. The dining room also has its own dance floor along with mood lighting and is ideal for parties with live music or a disco.
