Oakfield Gardens is an outdoor wedding reception venue located near Worcester. Situated at The River School, a former horticultural site & now an Independent charity since 1985. All the proceeds from all wedding receptions/events go directly back into the school.
This expansive property is home to a plethora of rare flowers and trees. If you're looking for a natural setting for your reception, Oakfield Gardens, and its 8 acre setting, is here for you.
Facilities and Capacity
This setting makes for wonderful photo opportunities. As your guests have their welcome drinks, you can slip off with the photographer for a moment of peace and get your first photos together as a married couple. Great areas for photo shoots include the Orchard and Arboretum. Banquets and receptions that run into the night can take place under two giant linked tipis. From a seated area to a dance floor as well as live entertainment, your tipi can host it all.

A blooming marvellous day!
I’m not sure I can put into words how wonderful our day truly was.
Pete and the team were fabulous. Nothing was too much and on the run up to the wedding, Pete was always at the end of the phone to put my mind at ease.
The thing I loved most about Oakfields is that you can make it whatever you want it to be. A DIY wedding with the benefit of not having to do it all yourself. Having complete autonomy allowed us to manage our budget without thing’s spiralling as they do with other venues.
There are so many different magical areas to guide your guests through. This meant that the day ran smoothly and there wasn’t that lull in the middle of the day that you often get at weddings.
So many of our guests commented on how perfect the venue was and how friendly all the team were.
The team went above and beyond to support any guests with additional needs to ensure everyone had the best day and we didn’t have to worry about them.
The wedding coordinator included is another fantastic bonus- she liaised with all the vendors too.
A massive thank you to everyone!

Happily Ever Holt Wedding
From the moment I stepped foot into Oakfields I knew it was the venue for us.
Oakfields is a hidden gem, nothing is too much work for Pete and his team. Pete is so responsive ( we like to call him the voicenote king) my Husband even mentioned this in his speech.
Oakfields is so beautiful in any season, we got married in August on the only dry day of the week.
I wish we could do it all over again

Magical day made by the most attentive people
We chose Oakfields as our venue for our wedding as it is a stunning venue. It had great scenery and a real close and magical feel about it. We was a bit unlucky as although we married in the middle of July, the weather the prior week was very wet. When we arrived at the venue it was clear that additional measures were taken to ensure that our day was perfect and all the rain had been dealt with to ensure even water logged fields were usable for us and our guests! Luckily we had beautiful sunshine on the day which made for the most magical photos and memories. I would recommend the venue and team 10 times over.

Dream wedding
My DREAM wedding!! Such a perfect day for me and my husband! Pete, the wedding organiser was everything I needed and more! Really felt like nothing was too much hassle for him and he was at end of the phone whenever I needed him! (Literally, when I was messaging him at midnight!) He was so professional and so friendly (and made the whole experience for me relaxed and enjoyable.
If you love the outdoors and a chilled vibe then this is the perfect venue for you!
The tipi itself was so beautiful, you don't need much to make it amazing as the fairy lights inside do it all for you! There were so many amazing photo opportunities around the venue, especially the uplighting in the trees on the evening and not forgetting the amazing sunset shot by the tipi! We used Doolally Tap weddings who was a lady called Anne! She was the best! Loved her so much and she really made our ceremony and the whole day so special.
If I could do it all again, I honestly would! It was a day I'll never forget and that was all because of Pete and his amazing team! Thank you Pete, Sarah, Anne and everybody who made it so special!
