Let me tell you a little more about Clova – right away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, we are set in the heart of the Angus Glens, within the Cairngorms National Park. The scenery is spectacular and from the moment you arrive you genuinely can feel any stress flowing away.

We are a fully catered venue, so there’s no need to go searching for caterers, and we can also help you out with humanists, photographers, bands, florists, and more if you wish.

Within the hotel we have 18 warm and inviting bedrooms which are available on a per night basis, and we also have a range of 11 lodges and houses on site sleeping from 2 people up to 10 people. These are available for either a weekend or midweek stay — and even better, each of these lodges and houses has its own hot tub so that you and your guests can really relax. We can sleep up to 88 guests in total, and many of our rooms and lodges are dog-friendly.

For your ceremony, you can choose the simple but idyllic Clova Kirk – a community-owned church around 100m from us. Because it’s community-owned, you can get married there by a minister, a humanist, or a celebrant. You can also choose to get married in our barn or outdoors with the hills as your backdrop – which is truly stunning (and don’t worry, we always have an indoor option ready just in case the Scottish weather doesn’t play along!).

The Barn at Clova
We are absolutely delighted that The Barn at Clova is now open! This beautiful, purpose-built wedding and events barn offers panoramic views down the glen and over the Cairngorms – the perfect backdrop for your special day. The Barn can host up to 150 guests, but with rustic dividers, it’s just as comfortable for smaller weddings of around 50 and above.

Unlike some other barns, ours is fully serviced – meaning we provide everything from tables, chairs, heating and catering to staff and simple décor, all included in the price. The Barn can be used for your ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception, and its large panoramic windows open onto a covered outdoor decking area, bringing the outdoors indoors.

So a few facts and figures for you – our brochure gives pricing based on a traditional 70-person wedding, but of course, we’re happy to give you a quote based on what you’re looking for.
