Words can’t say how grateful we are to Mhairi, Luke and the team at Glen Clova for the incredible wedding experience they provided us.

On our initial meeting, we had explained that Glen Clova was an extremely important place for our family, that we had a lot of people to invite and were on a very specific budget. Mhairi went out of her way to ensure our needs would be met within our budget. Her knowledge of weddings is so impressive and she knew exactly what we would need at every part of the day.

Our guests took over the hotel and lodges for 4 days and they could not have done more to bend over backwards to accommodate everyone’s needs.

On the day of the wedding our content creator cancelled which was devastating. Within an hour they had offered us support in the form of their marketing student, Abbie, who came right over to take videos and photos for us.

Luke was with us every step of the way too - making sure the wedding party was well fed, the venue was running smoothly and even our extras like our photobooth was working properly. But above and beyond that, he also took footage for us of each part of the day, including our ceremony. He ensured we didn’t miss out on our special moments. And was there the next morning with a smile to show me footage he’d edited together for us. I don’t know when that man sleeps! Luke, you are an ANGEL!

We chose a bbq for food at the wedding. The food was absolutely delicious - we are still talking about that potato salad!

They also allowed us to do it again the next day. When there was a small blip with a room for a meal, they made sure to provide us with an alternative to accommodate our guests for a hot buffet to clear our hangovers and let us bring our own board games and silent disco to use with the kids.

Again, the staff worked so hard to make our day special and one guest even said “those staff have not stopped all day. They were amazing.”

I was made to feel special and at home from the moment I arrived. I genuinely could not have asked for any more from the lovely staff.

On top of that the lodges and cottages were stunning - with lots of lovely extras like Prosecco and slippers. The hot tubs were an absolute hit. Having a prosecco in the tub while looking at that scenery was the most relaxed I’d been in the year of wedding planning!

This is a long review but one that is well worth it. If you are considering having your wedding here, I would sincerely encourage you to come and have a look. You’ll get a holiday, a wedding and lifelong memories with your friends and family - no matter how big or small your wedding is.

We got married at Glen Clova hotel in December and it was the most perfect location. Better than we could have imagined. The barn was stunning. The views were breathtaking. Fantastic value for money in comparison to other barn locations. Staff were so attentive especially being a family with lots of children. The food was amazing. We stayed in the manse house which was just so perfect for our large family. I could go on and on and on. A day we will cherish forever. Thankyou Glen Clova for everything. 10/10 would recommend ⭐️

The staff from behind the bar, service and managing were all lovely and looked after us so well. So well in fact that the timings and all operational elements from the hotel staff were flawless. The assistance up to the big day was warm and professional even when we were making last minute changes and adjustments to rooming lists, meals etc. This was reflected to even the day after where we had help to tidy up and was greatly appreciated. The obviously home made food was delicious.
We couldn't have picked a better place to have our weekend and we received lots of comments on how beautiful the hotel was from guests.
They made all our wildest ideas come true despite the weather! Having freedom to choose each element of our day really cemented that we'd made the right choice in our venue. the big and little kids were able to toast marshmallows despite the weather. the sheep that made it into our wedding photographs were the cherry on the cake as they added to the picturesque backdrop of the glen.
It really was incredible we would recommend to anyone considering a wedding here.

This venue was perfect in every single way. The location is out of the world.
The team are the kindest, most helpful and welcoming people. The communication was always so quick, and nothing was ever an issue for them to deal with.
The food over the whole weekend was gorgeous, we chose to host a meal on the Friday as well as our Saturday wedding which again went without a flaw due to the amazing staff.
Our friends and family loved their weekend and had so many positive comments about the accommodation.
There is not one thing we would change about Glen Clova- and 100% recommend people to consider this as their venue.

She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, and her dedication to making our day everything we dreamed of was truly remarkable.

The venue itself is breathtaking: set in such a stunning location with picturesque surroundings that made for the most beautiful backdrop to our ceremony and reception. We loved having the option to get married in the Kirk, with the hotel so conveniently nearby for the reception. The entire experience felt seamless and incredibly special.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating, with special thanks to Jenny and Mhairi for their exceptional service and support throughout the day. The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was.

Had an amazing wedding weekend at Glen Clova. It was everything we wanted and more. Stunning scenery, gorgeous hotel and lodges and the staff were amazing - they really couldn't do enough for you! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rural wedding!
