Upon arriving at Castello Medioevale, you will be captivated by the magical atmosphere that surrounds this thousand-year-old structure.

Facilities and Capacity

The ancient manor house, dating back to the year 1000, is structured in such a way as to create in guests an expectation of what they are going to discover from time to time.

You and your loved ones will be welcomed into the Court of Honour, dominated by the towers, with the ancient well from the 1300s.

Then, after passing through a stone archway, you will reach the first garden, adorned with plants and evergreen trees, from which you can admire the Monti Lattari.

You then descend a monumental stone staircase to access a second garden with a fishpond and ancient fountains that make the environment magical and fascinating for its beauty, art, and natural setting. From here, you can enjoy views of the Gulf of Naples, Vesuvius, Pompeii, and Herculaneum, as well as the entire coastline that, in the evening, is illuminated by incredible lights, leaving guests breathless.

Go further through a passage in the defence rampart dating back to the 1400s, and you will arrive at a lush olive garden, where the ancient moat once was, with views of the sea and Vesuvius. This ''jardin d'hiver'' can seat up to 300 people.

From the courtyard or the gardens, you then enter the ancient walled setting that leads down to the sea (hence the name of the town of Castellammare - Castello a mare). From here, you can enter the millennia-old structure and be greeted by the warm medieval atmosphere of the fireplace hall, where the banquet will be held in the winter period (capacity of up to 100 guests seated at the table).

The banqueting service (with preparation and cooking inside the castle) reserves customised menus and provides specific diets for vegetarians, vegans,celiacs and Kosher meals.
