Amazing and stress-free way to share your special day with your pups!
Sue and Donna were absolutely fantastic, communication was great and the zooms ahead of the ceremony meant the whole thing was seamless. Cannot thank them enough for looking after Jasper and Millie, ensuring they were looked after and they could be there to join us for photos. Our minds were completely at ease and the dogs were very happy and looked after with plenty of walks, treats, cuddles and interaction. Cannot thank them enough. -

APad4Paws dog chaperone/boarding for our wedding day
We used apad4paws for our wedding and couldn't be happier with the service Sue and Pete provided. From the moment we met Sue at a wedding fayre, it was clear she genuinely loves what she does — both she and Pete are true animal people, and that really put us at ease.
Sue took the time to explain all the options and how she could tailor the service to suit our plans. In the lead-up to the big day, we had several Zoom calls to make sure everything was crystal clear. We chose the overnight boarding the night before and the night of the wedding, as well as the chaperone service including drop-off at the venue — and it all went seamlessly.
There was also a meet and greet beforehand so our dog, Layton, was familiar with Sue and Pete, which made all the difference. They were both so lovely, nothing was ever too much trouble, and Sue even captured some brilliant photos of Layton throughout the day.
We were really impressed with every part of the service and would 100% recommend apad4paws to anyone who wants their dog involved in their wedding day. It was one less thing to worry about and such a special touch having Layton there.A Pad 4 Paws - Dog Chaperoning's reply:

From the moment we met Sue and Pete at the South West Wedding Fair in Exeter—accompanied by their two charming golden retrievers—we were instantly impressed. Before that, we hadn’t even considered the possibility of including our own energetic Golden in our wedding day. But after chatting with them and hearing about their journey and the experiences they’d had, we knew we had to book them.
Their website made the booking process easy, and they were quick to respond with availability. Despite the travel from Plymouth to our venue in Bridgwater, their pricing was incredibly reasonable. We also had a Zoom call to discuss the details and felt completely reassured by their professionalism and warmth.
A few weeks before the big day, we decided we wanted our boy to be part of the ceremony by delivering the rings. Sue and Pete were completely on board and worked with him on the day to make it happen—he did a brilliant job!
On the morning of the wedding, Sue was with Casper from the outset. She took him for walks, kept him calm during key moments, dressed him in his little suit and ring bearer clip, and guided him perfectly down the aisle. She even captured some beautiful candid footage and photos that we’ll always treasure.
After all the excitement (and many, many photos!), Sue kindly took Casper to his kennel for a well-deserved mini staycation before heading home.
We cannot recommend Sue and Pete enough to anyone looking to include their dog in their special day. Whether you simply want photos with your pup or a full-on role in the ceremony, they are the go-to people. They make sure everything runs smoothly—without taking time or focus away from your family and friends.

We really wanted our dog to be a part of our special day and after visiting the Plymouth Wedding Extravaganza, we found Apad4Paws and learnt it was possible.
Charlie (our dog) is a bit anxious around new people so we were a bit apprehensive if he would allow someone to look after him but Sue and Pete arranged a home visit for us and he took to Pete after a short amount of time. We also had a couple of zoom calls to iron out all the details they could not have been more accomidating for what we wanted on the day. They kept in contact via email and also Whatsapp so it was easy to communicate.
On the day Pete looked after Charlie so well and was on hand for when we needed him. Charlie then stayed the night at Apad4paws.
We would recommend this service to anyone who wants their dog a part of their wedding.

Danielle Sent on 31/05/2025Amazing Wedding Dog Chaperone!!
When planning our wedding we both knew we needed to have our dog(Amber) there and started looking at a chaperone to look after her for the big day.
We found apad4paws and couldn't be happier that we ended up using them! From our very first Zoom call with Sue and Pete, all the way through until the wedding, everything was clearly explained to us and all our fears were put to rest. They were incredibly flexible with our plans as we weren't sure how long we would want to have Amber there on the day and it was no issue for them to take her back home earlier than planned to let her relax without all the hustle and bustle of a wedding. Amber spent 2 nights with apad4paws and the constant updates of how she was getting on with photos and videos was hugely reassuring to both of us. It was the first overnight stay she had done outside of family members, and in addition to the stress of the wedding, it was concerning to us but Sue and Pete put every worry at rest and allowed us to enjoy our wedding without worrying. They were incredibly accommodating and loving towards Amber as if she was their own.
We also used their day-care service a few times leading up to the wedding to ensure Amber was familiar with them and still got updates throughout the day which was really reassuring.
Overall our experience was absolutely wonderful and we couldn't fault it at all, we would highly recommend them if anyone else wants a doggy chaperone for their wedding and will be booking Amber in for more day sessions and overnight boarding in the future.

The best addition to our wedding!
We really wanted our dogs at the wedding but were worried we wouldn’t find anyone willing to have six dogs and that it would be chaos. However, finding Sue and Pete was the best thing we did and adding them to our wedding was a blessing! We had a meet and greet prior to the wedding, this was particularly important for us as one of our dogs is a rescue and can be a little scared. Both Sue and Pete were great with the dogs, and treated them like they were their own - our dogs loved having little cheese treats and we got updates all throughout the day of how the dogs were doing which was absolutely brilliant knowing that they were safe and happy! They regularly took them on little walks throughout the day and even gave them all their dinner. If anyone wants their dogs at their wedding but are hesitant, ours can be a little chaotic but Sue and Pete handled them brilliantly and we cannot recommend them enough! -

The best for our pups!
I can not recommend Sue and Pete enough. They were tasked with looking after 6 pups in our wedding day and went above and beyond for them all! They sent plenty of photos and gave our fur babies plenty of cuddles. Truly thankful for all their help on our wedding day!A Pad 4 Paws - Dog Chaperoning's reply:
