Howling with Brucey, your dogs PA on your special wedding day. We're a Bristol based dog wedding chaperone, covering the South West (Somerset, Oxfordshire, Devon, Wiltshire and beyond).
At Howling with Brucey, we provide award-winning wedding day chaperoning for your dog so you can relax and be fully present in your day, safe in the knowledge that your pup's every need is being taken care of! We’re here to support you in integrating your dog in a way as special as they are! With over 15 years of full-time experience in animal care and training, full insurance, and a suite of animal care qualifications up to MSc, let us become your dog's personal assistant whilst you focus on your special moments on your big day. We really do believe that high-quality pet care should be accessible to everyone, which is why we tailor all of our services to accommodate varying budgets and individual doggy needs, starting at £30 per hour. Our personalised services are uniquely tailored to meet your dog’s individual needs and personality. From pre-wedding meet and greets to build a positive relationship at your pup's pace, to personalised schedules that include walks, enrichment, feeds, or even doggy pawtraits, we’re here to handle it all with the love and care your pup deserves.
That being said, we know that a wedding isn’t the most suitable environment for all dogs, so we don’t just offer a one-size-fits-all approach to dogs at weddings. Dogs are as unique as we are, and we need to be able to meet their needs and yours for your big day. Nervous pup? No problem! We can tailor their day to ensure that you still get to see them, but in a way that isn’t too overwhelming, outside of the main hustle and bustle of the event, to ensure a positive experience for everyone! Rather, your pup has their own special day outside of the wedding? We’re here to be their adventure and cuddle buddy!

Absolutely amazing!
Wedding chaperone
All I can say is, Precious really is a dog whisperer! I have a very lively and energetic Huntaway x Welsh Collie, but he listened to everything Precious told him and was completely at ease in her care. She was calm, reassuring and absolutely amazing with all of the dogs.
The activities she did with them were fantastic too, and we were even left with the sweetest little paintings created by the dogs as a lovely keepsake from our special day.
Precious went above and beyond, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after our dogs. We will 100% be booking Precious for any dog-related services we need in the future. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring, trustworthy and brilliant with dogs!

Meet the team
Hi, I'm Precious, Owner of Howling with Brucey.
With over 15 years of full-time experience working with domestic and exotic animals from sea lions to sloth, gorillas to goats, monkeys to mara, aquarium fish to alpacas, alongside a wealth of experience with common pets such as dogs, cats and rabbits. I also possess a range of animal care qualifications (from Level 3 to MSc), dog first aid training and full insurance, so you can be sure your dog is in safe hands.
Having worked as a zoo-keeper and animal trainer for 10 years, I have been fortunate enough to develop a range of essential skills for taking care of animals, developing a particular specialism in R+ (positive reinforcement) animal training.
Alongside keeping/training and running HWB for 4 years, I have been fortunate enough to both work and volunteer in a range of care settings including pet shops, wetland centres, rehoming centres, farms and aquariums.
