She is so personable and well-organised you just know you'll be in safe hands. Her industry contacts are second-to-none and frankly I wish we'd secured her services sooner and saved a lot of hassle!
I can wholeheartedly say it was the best and most important wedding decision I made and I would book her again in a heartbeat. Most people have limited experience of planning events and so it's essential to have someone who is professional, can anticipate issues and can offer useful suggestions. The whole team were superb on the day and went above and beyond to ensure that we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. I wouldn't hesitate to book TWS for my next wedding ;)

I didn’t know where to start!
She designed and posted our invitations, dealt with the guest list and RSVPs, and sat down with me to put the Table Plan together. There was even a list of music that we may find suitable to glide into the reception together, and for our first dance. I was amazed at her skills and patience.
Ossie and his groomsmen were guided in finding matching suits, and looked fabulous.
On the day itself she was a blessing. The church service flew by and the reception exceptional. I didn’t have to think of anything bar enjoying myself with family and friends. Ossie and I had a ball!

Her proficiency in event organisation led her to plan a family wedding years ago. This experience began her deep dive into the wedding industry and the birth of her brainchild: The Wedding Society.
Witnessing the sheer joy of a couple commencing their shared life journey, and having a significant hand in crafting that pivotal day, was a revelation for China. This passion project turned professional and now sees her revel in the myriad details that breathe life into a wedding. From the scents of blooming flower garlands, the intricacies of table setting designs, to the palpable anticipation leading up to a bride’s grand entrance, every nuance matters.

Ben’s career in hospitality began in the 1980s, working as a chef in local restaurants and behind the bar in pubs and hotels, where he developed a passion for exceptional food, service, and creating memorable experiences.
After university, he moved into the world of advertising, specialising in household food brands including Cadbury’s, Green & Blacks, Uncle Ben’s Rice, Dolmio and Findus. Yet his entrepreneurial spirit and love of hospitality soon drew him back to the industry he knew best.
He went on to establish a gourmet food retail business in London’s West End, growing it into three successful stores. As demand grew for catering beyond the shops, the business evolved into a thriving events company, delivering bespoke catering and bar services for corporate parties, product launches and fashion shows for brands including Virgin, Topshop, Topman and Vogue.
Today, as The Wedding Society’s Event Specialist, Ben brings decades of experience in event logistics, hospitality and problem-solving to every wedding. Working alongside China, he is the calm, hands-on presence behind the scenes anticipating challenges, coordinating suppliers, and ensuring everything runs exactly as planned.
His role is simple but invaluable: to allow couples to be completely present on their wedding day. While you celebrate with family and friends, Ben is quietly overseeing every detail, solving any issues before they arise and ensuring your carefully planned day unfolds effortlessly.
Together, we believe your wedding should feel joyful, relaxed and seamless. Our goal is to create an experience where every guest feels welcomed, every detail is thoughtfully executed, and you can focus on what truly matters celebrating the beginning of your life together.
