We hired Bryony and her team as on day coordinator and working the bar/generally holding the day together at their michelham priory venue. They were great, the day ran smoothly and they gave us good tips on what we would need/what her team could help us with (on things like how to serve tea coffee or where to hire glasses). The bar staff were amazing and super helpful.BLUE DOOR WEDDINGS's reply:

Blue door events were very good value for money. We chose to have a wedding coordinator and they also supplied the bar. The bar had loads of options for our guests and good prices. Our wedding coordinator, Claire, was also very try accommodating. I would highly recommend using this company for your wedding if you’re thinking about it. No job was too big for them. -

Cannot recommend Blue Door more highly. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish in our wedding planning. We initially arranged venue hire through them, and then opted for the on day management of the event and use of their staffing recommendations. They helped us navigate a very personal situation with genuine empathy and compassion, while then helping us to eventually realise our dream day. Chloe is an absolute LEGEND. Have not many anyone with such a calm demeanour, and her communication, planning and attention to detail is second to none, she is highly experienced in her job and has so many good and practical suggestions, plus established relationships with so many suppliers. Her event management of our day was absolutely seamless - she worked tirelessly in ensuring everything ran like clockwork, even bringing out needle and thread when my dress split! We could not have done it without her and I would highly recommend this service to take away all worry and logistic from the day itself so you can just enjoy yourselves. Thanks again to the team for everything and making it happen. We miss you Chloe! -

The best investment for our wedding!
We booked on the day wedding planning and honestly it was THE BEST decision ever. We had Claire helping us who was kind, sweet and an absolute super star! Not only she was amazing on the day but she helped solved some issues we had the day before the wedding. She was responsive, calm and so professional. Relaxed and beautiful wedding day thanks to efficient, thorough and organised support
We had our wedding with about 60 guests at a beautiful outdoor venue in the East Sussex with a woodland ceremony and reception in a country barn spilling out onto a gorgeous lawn with a firepit. Bryony supported us both as the main contact for our venue and along with her team on the day provided a service of hosting that made the day exactly what we envisioned - a wholesome, relaxed day which allowed us and our loved ones to enjoy every moment.
We were introduced to Bryony as the main contact for our wedding venue, where in the year leading up to our big day, she brought a wealth of experience in the wedding business to support a number of suggestions and ideas for our planning.
Bryony and her team came into their own with their on-the-day management and staffing service. Bryony was meticulously efficient in organising this service from arranging catering equipment hire to coordinating with our suppliers and planning her service in line with the day. Every eventuality was considered and planned for, which made the day feel like a breeze. Bryony and team were there from long before the ceremony helping to set up and stayed into the later evening ensuring glasses were filled, canapés were served and the venue was left clean and tidy. She was flexible to serving relaxed, family prepared canapés and evening food which allowed us to keep the vibe we wanted and to stay in budget! The service team led by Bryony were friendly, helpful and supportive.

We can't thank Bryony and Chloe enough for their hard work in planning our spontaneous wedding! It all came together like a dream and the day was more than perfect despite only a five week lead up!
Chloe, you have our enormous gratitude and admiration for the enormous amount of hard work you put in on the day- you were up and down those castle steps so many times with everything from cheese to outfit changes! You were such a well organised and calming presence and we can't imagine the day without your fantastic professionalism and attention to every last detail. We gasped when we walked through the castle entrance as you had literally made our vision come true and created a colourful fairytale! All our guests were blown away by the beauty and magicality of the castle and that was totally down to you! The weather being on our side was a huge bonus and we were so grateful that you managed to make us feel so assured in the lead up that even if the weather was bad we would still have a wonderful day. You left no detail to chance and that really shone through. Thank you also to Rosanna for her great help. Basically we could not have dreamt up a happier, sunnier or more beautifully planned day and it will shine in our memories forever.
Bryony thank you for agreeing to take us on and for all of your advice and help in the run up, it was invaluable. Your experience and knowledge is amazing. We would highly recommend Bluedoor Weddings without a single reservation.

Our day ran so smoothly thanks to Blue Door!
When we booked a DIY venue we didn't quite realise how much work went into running the day, and that's where Blue Door came to the rescue. We booked them for the on the day management package and then after a think and a chat over email, also agreed to hire two day staff through them to supplement Chloe (our day manager) on the day. We couldn't have asked for a better day - Chloe and her team were amazing, attentive without being pushy, did everything so seamlessly we didn't even notice (they moved 80 chairs from the ceremony to reception and no one even noticed them doing it really!). They worked so hard and we are so grateful as we didn't have to worry about a thing, they took care of everything from timings to rearranging floral decor to clearing a space for the dance floor. I've attached a photo of Chloe walking me to the ceremony, she was a lovely calm yet excited presence in the morning. Blue Door also sorted lots behind the scenes for us such as when the bar was coming to set up, and being able to share some of the admin load in the weeks before was such a blessing as I was feeling a bit burnt out at that point! So pleased with the service we received and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thanks again Chloe, Bryony and the staff x -

Couldn't have done it without you
We had the most perfect day and wouldn't have changed a thing. As well as helping us plan the wedding, Bryony made our dream come true with having our dog there on our special day.
Bryony and Chloe were amazing, they were so attentive and helped with every aspect. Even when I asked if we could have espresso martinis very last minute, Bryony made it happen and everyone loved this!
Blue door Weddings know this industry so well and it was so nice to relax knowing this and it all went perfectly. Thank you so much! -
