Our Real Wedding

After twelve wonderful years together, we couldn’t have been more excited to finally get married and celebrate the journey that brought us here. We chose the dreamy setting of The Retreat at Elcot Park in Berkshire, creating the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love, joy, and so many personal touches. We were incredibly lucky to be supported by amazing female-owned businesses, alongside the creativity of our talented friend @allibeecreative, and a brilliant local hair and makeup team who helped bring everything together.

The morning was nothing short of magical—relaxed, full of laughter, and shared with our bridesmaids, setting the tone for the day ahead. Having our dog Bertie there to celebrate with us made everything even more special. Our ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, surrounded by our favourite people, with meaningful readings and led by a wonderfully kind registrar.

We moved into reception drinks with live music, sunshine, and the happiest atmosphere, capturing special moments as Bertie ran freely around the grounds. The celebrations continued with a stunning wedding breakfast, complete with incredible food, heartfelt speeches, and eight cakes (made by Groom's very talented sister)—one for each table—which doubled as both centrepieces and an interactive pudding (without a doubt one of the Bride's best ideas!).
