Our Real Wedding

Having known each other since we were 5 years old, all the way through school and being best friends for years, we never thought we'd be here at our wedding. We had been together for 9 years when he decided to propose on our anniversary! Which was the perfect way to do it as he got the dog involved in a private moment at home that was just between us.

From the get-go, I knew I'd be my own wedding planner, and with Hitched, it has made it so much more enjoyable and easy. From the flowers to the hair and make-up artists, and from the wedding fair at our chosen venue, we found our cake maker and our DJ. We have been blown away by the entire process and could not have asked for a better day. Everything went off without a problem from start to finish, and we could not have had a better day.

The best part was being told we needed to make a playlist for our wedding breakfast so being the music lover of the pair, that fell on my shoulders as the Bride and it's safe to say not a lot of people can say they've been to a wedding breakfast and sang along to Gangsters Paradise whilst they ate! Even the toastmaster commented, saying it was the best playlist for a wedding breakfast he had ever heard and that became my favourite part of the day! Seeing everyone enjoy all the different songs and mixture of music types whilst we sang and enjoyed a gorgeous meal as a group.
