Our Real Wedding
It's a big deal, this getting married. To say I was stressed, is an understatement. To the point where I developed eczema!
We are doing all this for the second time. Boy did we do it right this time!
Hitched has been a massive help! All the suppliers, tips for countdown tasks, even seating plans. Truly amazing and helpful when you have a day job and a life to lead, you don't want to be googling each thing individually. Thank you
Wasing is out of this world! the people there are THE BEST at what they do. The grounds and locations are so beautiful. Staying at Kitts Cottage the night before the wedding with my girlfriends made it all the more special. I was so much calmer I believe, because I had them to share the night before the big day.
We had family travelling in from all over the country and some even from Germany. To be able to stay on site and just us, was great. Breakfast the next day all together, sharing stories and the sore feet from dancing to the Indianas Band all night! one banging tune after another!
Continue reading »Saffron Strings are a talent to behold and our Photographer and Videographer were the most laid back people I've ever met! :-p Our family and friends worked with them as if they were old friends too. :-)
Travelling cupcake....cor! I'm glad they aren't on the doorstep! I would be the size of a house! deeeelish! cakes and brownies. Staff at Wasing even took a couple in the evening :-p
Rachychique Boutique is a one man lady in Basingstoke. I went to her open day and felt like a million dollars in all the dresses, but they gasped when I chose the one I married in. I had to lose a bit of weight, but once I'd done that. I felt like a princess. Which is no small feat when I'm more into climbing trees than beautifying.
We made sure we took 10minutes when the room was being turned around for the evening, to just be together. That was great. We cried, but it was great. So thankful for the day we had and the evening that was to come.
We used A2B choreography to help us with our mash-up dance. It wasn't as smooth or clean with the moves as it could be, but it was fab fun and everyone oo'd and aaa'd in the right places. superb work from Aimee Butler!
Again, I thank you Hitched. You took the pain out of paying! ;-) and the pain out of research. a one stop shop for all things, Wedding.
