Our Real Wedding

From start to finish our wedding day at Runa Farm was chaotic, full of love and absolutely beautiful. After a bit of a rushed start, once I got into that ceremony and walked down that aisle towards my other half standing at the front of the chapel smiling, all the nervousness, stress and worry I had felt just melted away. Durham Council registrar team were amazing in providing us with a personal and intimate ceremony and it made it even better writing our own heartfelt vows to one another. It was so emotional and heartwarming. As we finished we had our petals and confetti thrown and had so much fun with it. We then had some beautiful photos taken and greeted our guests while our guitarist sang and performed. After this were our amazing speeches and beautiful wedding breakfast. The day went too fast, and before I knew it, it was the evening reception. We got to cut our beautiful three tier cake and have our first dance with our closest friends and family around. Perfection doesn’t exist when you’re planning such a huge event and not everything went 100% to plan, but it was the most amazing and fun day and it’s only when it’s over that I really noticed what went wrong, as in the moment you’re too caught up in it all to care. Now let’s begin married life!
