Our Real Wedding

We got engaged in Amsterdam on the canal; it was so unexpected and beautiful. We then didn't bother planning anything for about 3-6 months as we weren't sure what to do. Then we visited Chycara and quickly decided we must get married there!

We knew we wanted a 'sunset' theme for the wedding straight away and within a few weeks had booked a photographer, catering, entertainment & honeymoon. We had a set budget, but obviously wanted to come in under, as most couples do! I did my own bouquets and some DIY decor. We left some quite important things like rings until the very last minute!

My favourite part of the wedding was 100% the ceremony, but a close second was the 15 minutes before we were called in for the wedding breakfast, as my husband and I just sat together, alone, on a lovely swing and chatted about how the day was going so far.
