Our Real Wedding

We got married at Springkell in Scotland, with about thirty guests, many of them flying in from Peru (our native country). It was a small and intimate wedding, and we wanted the day to feel like walking into an old painting, so we built everything around deep colours, candlelight in every corner, and flowers that looked like they had grown wild rather than been arranged.

We designed the aesthetic ourselves, including our wedding website and a few small apps I coded myself. Our stylist, Malin from Dekor & Co, brought it all to life and helped us make decisions whenever we were unsure. Her flowers in particular were incredible, she really captured our vision. We also designed several activities throughout the day. Our guests' favourite was stamping their own tarot cards at activity stations we set up around the venue, using major arcana illustrated for us by a friend from art school, each one chosen to echo something from our relationship. Another favourite was a small "love museum" where guests could walk through our story, with memorabilia and videos to look through together.
