Our Real Wedding

We got married at Rivervale Barn in Yateley, on Sunday 6 July 2025.After 10 years together, and 1.5 years engaged, it was truly everything we ever dreamed of and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. We fell in love with Rivervale Barn straight away, mostly because of the outdoor ceremony area. I’ve always wanted an outside forest-vibe wedding, and this venue delivered that and more. We were a little worried about the weather on the day, as we had light showers all morning. But when I started walking down the aisle it stopped, and as soon as we exchanged vows the sun shone down on us - making for a picture perfect day there on out (I made sure to bury a sausage the night before!). All our guests commented on how perfect the timing of the sun was, as if we are just meant to be. There was also a white butterfly flying around us during the ceremony! As an organised creative, I genuinely loved planning the wedding and used Hitched to search for different vendors. We had the best time curating a day that suited us perfectly, and we wish we could do it all over again! But we have the most incredible photos and videos to look back on and relive it! Best day ever.
