Our Real Wedding

We had the most perfect day, I can’t believe we got married in a castle, right on our doorstep. 🤯 Highcliffe Castle made a stunning venue, the entire team were so organised and helpful and made sure the day ran perfectly! Simply Flower made a beautiful venue even more perfect with their floral arrangements and styling. We left everything in their hands, and it looked 10/10.It took an army and a million prep appointments to get me looking like the bride I did. On the day, Painted by Lauren and The Artful Hairstylist made me and my bridal party feel like absolute rockets! They’re also the most beautiful people inside and out! Although of venue was grand, we wanted the day to feel relaxed and laid back, so we kicked it off by being tattoos with the venue map coordinates. Natalie Kappes Tattoo is a master of fine line. I also happened to grow up with her through school, so it was super cool she could be part of our day. Staying with the laid-back vibes, Alfresco catering laid out a gorgeous BBQ. I wish I could have fit in more, but the tight dress didn’t allow! 😂 In the evening we chose a family friends business to serve up wood fired pizzas, Super Brothers Catering always pull it out the bag and it was special to support a business of someone we know! Our music choices were quite rouge throughout the day, we had Rosie Kate music on the Venues baby grand piano during the ceremony. She learnt 6 songs for us!!! From Taylor swift and Post Malone to Hanz Zimmer - she nailed them all! We are Robot are a local band that we’ve seen live countless time, and they did not disappoint, they smashed all the bangers and the dance floor was full all night!! I was sad when it was over and time to go home.Lastly, how do I sum up our one of a kind photographer, Joan Jellett - she’s iconic, she’s a vibe and she gets a bloody amazing shot! As two people who don’t love to be in front of the camera, she made us so comfortable and I can believe I LOVE every single photo of me (this never happens). It’s hard to describe the magic she captures! Truly the best and most magical day thanks to everyone above, our lovely family and friends - and of course my new husband! ❤️
